The thing that is confusing is that I can see your sub domain perfectly fine http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and even after having your Ip removed from the firewall you are unable to see the site.... Which means your ip can be a dynamic one... Can you tell me if you are able to see your site using megaproxy.com ? P.S : Xisto is slugging it out , just that you are the only one unable to see your site therefore making it difficult to troubleshoot.

In that case I must be the only one who uses this feature.. Honestly speaking I find this feature more of a daily puzzle rather than a savior. I have it added on my personal email address as I have fewer emails to send from there

Howdy Folks, 1st December :- OpaQue's birthday!! Lately OpaQue has been working real hard with projects like MYCent, planning for the forum upgrade, optimizing the feedback form and many others. And I for one feel that he deserves to take a break on his birthday and hopefully you guys too feel the same way. Now it is up to us to convince him to take a break, but to make this year's birthday fun for him I have arranged a competition. The winner gets 5 Mycent, 3 Mycent and 1 Mycent (1st, 2nd and 3rd). The theme is "How do you think OpaQue was born" Members must conjure up a fantasy as to how you think OpaQue was born. A sad example would be :- Long time ago in a datacenter... a child was born with <? php ?> edged on his head. (I have no imagination so forgive me ) Competition ends on the 2nd of December.

I updated your support ticket and now want to add one more bit of info regarding your account :-1. You have registered for Mycent2. I could not find your account in the billing system when I searched using DOMAIN but could find it when I used your first name.3. Which basically means that you signed up at the billing system BUT did not order the package. Please go to Xisto - Support.com/billing/cart.php and order the package of your choice.Your account will be un-suspnded & transferred to a new server and the details will be sent to you once you have order the package.

AGAIN, please read OpaQue's response. we CHECK the ip a client uses when he goes to the Live Chat. The name and language a client uses online is also recorded and tallied. The person you spoke to is a Level 3 Engineer so if he had felt that you were a fraudulent person he would have blocked your ip without a second thought. Also, for security reasons we ask you to send only tickets for password resets. BECAUSE when you send tickets the admins handling the chats are sent details about your account therefore preventing any kind of fraud members from getting the password. Kindly note that if you have any problems then it is always recommended that you send an email to COMPLAINTS AT Xisto - Web Hosting DOT COM because only Shree or myself can take necessary actions/precautions for your account.

Hi,Because you have made orders using Mycents we(Xisto Staff) need to verify that the order is a genuine order, make sure that your forum behavior is good and that you do not have a warning. And when an order has a domain in it we need to be extra sure because a domain once registered cannot be deleted.It can take anything from 5 minutes to 1 week for an order to be activated but kindly note that the delay is not intentional and we are doing our best so that orders are activated within 12 hours from time of sign-up.

Of course. You will not be forced to shift plans and can continue with the same package as before. Well, you simply need to order a windows plan BUT unfortunately we do not offer Linux to Windows transfers therefore you will need to back up your data and then load it yourself on your Windows plan. Now depending on when you signed up I will adjust the invoice but kindly note that Windows is recommended only if you need it.

Mordent,Your account has been activated and the details have not been reset and resent to you because you are already hosted. But if you login to your Client Area, your Cpanel password has been set as your google apps email password

Hey,Some extra points in case you are still confused :-1. Yes you can use domain privacy to hide your details from being seen. It is free and it is added during registration :)2. If you provide wrong details you are sent an email warning you about the same. And I would recommend that you add your real details as it will not be seen by anyone but you and my team.

Hey, I will be happy to answer these questions for you Webmail is disabled for Logic Plans so we instead offer external mail services. Yes Google apps give you your own xxx@domain.com but you need to have your domain registered first or else it cannot be activated for you. Addons? o.O A nice explanation by a member called encyclo from webmasterworld Well it depends on what kind of a website you are running. But a dedicated ip is always useful as it becomes your unique address and it helps with your SEO ranking. I would not recommend using a dedicated ip unless you actually need it. -
I can understand your concerns and have answered your questions :- 1. Why am I asked my personal details now if I was NEVER asked before? *** You are being asked those personal details BECAUSE . BUT You are allowed to add details like "Fake Street and so on". We do not cross check the address because we understand a member's privacy. We cross check a client's address whose payment looks fishy or his overall order looks suspicious. But in the case of a trap and asta member, he is verifying and cross verifying his account by submitting QUALITY posts therefore Address is not a major requirement. The reason you do not see any rules and regulations in the websites because OpaQue's main priority was to get the system running and tweak out the bugs that showed up in the initial stage. You might agree that addition of obsolete rules does not do any justice to the members and to the admins. Now that we know that the system is working smoothly confirming that the back-end processes are running perfectly fine, we can finally start working on the front end BASED on the feedback we have received so far from members. And I have to thank you for posting your opinions because it helps us assure our members and also helps us add the rules and regulations. If you have any more doubts, please feel free to update this topic.

First of all anything and everything related to Xisto is related to OpaQue and it's team so you are actually dealing with the same company but interacting with different branches of the same company. We do not keep any members credit card details be it Free or Paid therefore there is no way that we can charge you without YOUR consent. When you sign up for free web hosting at Xisto by posting your application, you add an email address which is visible to the whole world to see but when you sign up with Xisto - Web Hosting your details are seen only by support administrators and you.. It is your personal space which cannot and will not be invaded by any one from our side. And we do not FORCE members to give in their real details, these PERSONAL DETAILS are required only when 1. When a domain needs to be registered because whois shows YOUR details not the company's 2. A Cpanel password needs to be reset over Live Support. 3. Whenever we need to confirm that the buyer is a genuine buyer. The rules present in Xisto - Web Hosting's TOS are strictly for Xisto - Web Hosting PAID members. Mycents users have DIFFERENT CUSTOMIZED rules that apply only to them. If you abuse, overuse or destroy something. It will be deducted out of your CREDIT Account and not your credit card. If you have no credits in your account, your invoice will not be marked as paid and if your invoice is not marked paid then your account will get suspended. But if your account is suspended due to abuse then your billing record is suspended. No. Mycents was introduced by OpaQue to make sure that members had access to every hosting package out there. If he had wanted dollars he would have simply reduced the prices on the packages and asked members to sign up. This is not applicable as the rules are different for MYCENTS users. Again this is not applicable as the rules are completely different for MYcent users. Nothing major or life changing is implemented in Xisto - Web Hosting without notifying our members first, only the small changes are not announced. We announce all that there is in the news section of Xisto - Support.com As far as the whole " we will fail the rules and then be forced to make a payment" I assure you that It will not happen because I manage the team working for Xisto - Web Hosting so there is no way that an account is suspended and forced to pay

Hey,First of all your question is not a dumb one at all To own a VPS is like owning a miniature version of a dedicated server :-To picture how a VPS is, you simply look at your own Hard-Disk. You make partitions right? Be it C, D, E, F. A VPS is the same, one server is divided into many drives or parts. Now what they do in a vps is that they first decide the space it requires and then add a barrier to make sure that it is isolated from everything else present on the server guaranteeing security and ability to add a different OS on it. When the above said barrier is added on a VPS, it acts like a fence keeping outsiders away from your property and it also makes sure that your activities affect only you and no one else. This allows the addition of any software, opening/closing of any port, addition of proxies and so on. This is the same reason why a person logs into his server at super level access (root/admin)Thus you can say that owning a vps is like a dedicated server because it gives you everything you need except for HUGE amount of space and bandwidth unlike a Dedi. -

Use the email address you have submitted in the HOSTING APPLICATION. Cpanel Username. Password (This is used to verify your account or check the error) If password needs to be reset then you need to submit your forum username and password. Your IP => Go to ipchicken(dot)com and kindly paste the ip you see. If you faced an error, then kindly paste the error or at least let us know what actions you took that resulted in the error. Link to the Xisto thread if you have submitted a topic/post about the error/problem. If you take out the time to submit these details then I am sure that your issues will get solved way faster and it will be easier for us at the support department to verify your account
