Hi,SHOCKING!!! I was talking to a friend of mine regarding him about how I like his acting and looks , I then was curious to see how he looked in the batman movie so I randomly googled his name..I was shocked when I found out that he was dead.. It is actually sad and freaky that he died, he had a lot of potential.. But nothing can be done when your time comes..Rest In Peace ....

Wow, Snide and Catty remarks??? Now wasn't that a tad bit rude?? I dissected my post but I still don't know why it is called Snide and rude... Was I catty here?? I was merely telling that sometimes people have poor English because of the above reasons.. Again puzzled as to why I was called snide I was merely saying that members who have horrid English should not be treated like a star attraction of some negative sort. Instead we should be helping them improve because you know that a forum like this can make or break some one, I know that you understand this very well. I am sorry if I was immature there... This is the truth, I was planning to get a forum dedicated to only English lessons to help students and others... I had even planned to get a veggies corner, foreign language section started but it was not possible as I did not see any members that would do the job well... I think this is what made you say that I was catty and snide Sorry for the misunderstanding but I was being serious here.. I have always appreciated Mianthrope's and your knowledge in the English language and wanted her to talk to me regarding this. I had even contacted you regarding this matter but you never responded back.. So I thought you did not have the time for this. I had wanted Misanthrope and TikiPrincess to take care of the English Forum but Tiki is not active enough If you still do not believe me, you are free to ask OpaQue whether I am lying or not, I am sure that he will not lie about a silly thing like a forum.. I know that there are people who misspell on purpose or open topics worth laughing or ignoring but It is difficult to warn them or edit their posts all the time.. I never knew that our opinions are whining.. I thought everyone was free to post their opinions. Anyway you can either call my "suggestion" an opinion or a whining.. Doesn't matter because I am not going to reply anymore **Peace and let us all calm down our raging egos**

Well.... The only problem with targeting every one with bad grammar is that you cannot always blame them for the bad language. We have to keep in mind that not all the countries in the world are taught English as the first language . These are a few reasons why a member might have "poor" English :- 1. Living in a place where English is not a priority. (In a place where the mother language or national language is spoken more than any other) 2. Due to bad teachers or their own faults, their English might be poor 3. Just plain old bad grammar. 4. Mobile Phones and their limits I don't think a member should be warned, threatened, treated like a dunce just because he does not have a good grasp over a language. On the other hand, It is our responsibility to help members with poor English. I think being members in a "community" makes us responsible for each other's personal growth. By personal growth I mean Self esteem, disabilities, flaws and so on. I had even suggested to OpaQue that we open a sub forum where members can post useful topics on how to improve their English... But we could not as we needed members who would take out the time to open topics and help members. We would also need a forum leader who would monitor that particular part of the forum... As we could not find anybody active enough for the job.. We decided to shelve the project. But If you are interested in it Misanthrope, I will be extremely happy to get the forum started for you You can email OpaQue further IF you want to volunteer for this.. It is not a compulsion what so ever Been there and still doing that... Almost 15 out of 20 posts are in text language in the FeedBacker section I once re wrote a post because it had too much of slang and looked like a giant text

Is My Height Normal For My Age? 56 12 yr old Is This Normal?
velma replied to Mermaid711's topic in Health & Fitness
Hate to dig up an old topic but I wanted to add a response.. You are absolutely normal and looking at your parents height.. It is absolutely normal.. You still have a lot of growing It is the contrary with me.. I look so young even though I am legal enough to drink and drive (Not at the same time ) When I go to the movies or go out to a club with my boyfriend... They ask for my driver's license If it makes you any happier.. I have a younger cousin, she is 14 and she is already 5 feet 11 inches... When we go out together she looks like a giant while I look like a midget Reminds me of Full Metal Alchemist.. But despite all of this I am very proud of my height 5 feet 1 inch . I can crawl through tiny places and get discounts at the amusement parks -
Hi,Thank you for the contribution I was at home when I saw the news and I was extremely shocked as I saw the videos showing the bomb blasts and the interviews..I admire Ms Bhutto as she achieved something that can be rarely done in a place like Pakistan. She became the first woman Prime Minister for Pakistan.. A sort of Pakistani Indira Gandhi....She was made Prime Minister twice and removed from the post both the times for the same reason.. Corruption.. Then she went into self imposed exile and when she returned to Pakistan.. She had known that her life was not safe yet she took the risk....Then she was assassinated in front of so many people killing a lot of people along with her... Now that she is dead and buried.. the blame game has finally begun..People blame Musharraf, Musharraf says that he had warned Bhutto and now says that he had nothing to do with the assassination.. In my opinion none of the politicians are capable of running the country... All of them are involved in themselves to be bothered about the people... I have stopped trusting what the news show me so I do not even know if Bhutto's death was a gimmick too...Musharraf casually denying that he did not assassinate her was a bit stupid.. As if he is going to admit to the country and the whole world that he was the one who had her assassinated.. In the end.. We are all watching a show where each politician is acting out their parts beautifully fooling and confusing all.. The reason is a noble one but the intention is the most disgusting and perverse one

Dear God! My mom would love to adopt you.. *Gets adoption papers ready* J/k anyway yeah I am perfectionist but being an oddball I am a lazy perfectionist... If I want to do something it has to be perfect or else I will blow a fuse right then and there.. Now I have learn t not to destroy things that I cannot perfect My room is like the weather, some times it houses kittens, junk, corpses and stuff.. Sometimes it is as clean as a whistle... Sometimes it turns into a maze where you would find me searching for something and finding something else. But I am a perfectionist when it comes to plans, execution, my projects and quite a lot of things and all that I can say is that being a stickler for cleanliness can be the best thing you would want... I am reaching that level but it will take me some time.. Keeping stuff organized, clean and up to mark is a discipline that will always help you.. So I guess you are on the right path and today when you see your mom.. Give her a big hug and tell her how much you thank her And Yes I am perfectionist when it comes to my personal growth (career, knowledge, spiritual and personality), Personal hygiene is very important to me.. But sadly my room gets neglected by me as I hardly have the time to read a book let alone clean a room... P.S.. My mom is a perfectionist herself

Have You Ever Almost Died? Or at least had a close one?
velma replied to Soul Dimension's topic in General Discussion
Hi,Freaky stories.. Anyway coming to my story.. I was 5 and my older brother ( 2 years difference) were playing in our garden and we started playing tag including the dogs ...Now being siblings, me being the youngest and tiniest, it was easy for my Alastin (Alsatian dog) to pull me in a corner with his mouth and as the tug of war continued...My bro sneaked from behind and pushed me hard... Now the sad bit was that I fell on one of the metal faucets that was in our garden... The faucet hit hard at the back of my head...I started bleeding but being so young I did not realize that It was a bit serious not too bad.. There was blood all over my dress... My bro panicked and sprayed me one of those spray bandages... I don't remember what happened after my bro sprayed me...But my parents never realized that I had gotten hurt until the weekend when my mom washed my hair but the wound was already healing.. I still have the bump at the back of my head, my doctor had told me that I was lucky that the wound had not gone bit deeper or else I would have died due to excess blood loss....Even now, if I try to sleep on on my back.. I have to adjust my head so that my bump does not get touched or else it hurts a lot.. A reminder I guessI thank my bro for saving my life with that bandage I also have had 7 stitches on my head and one on my hand due to an accident I had as a teen.. Me and my friend crashed into a car resulting in us being flipped off the bike and me banging my head on the pavement.. The freaky bit was that the previous wound and the new one I acquired are just an inch away from each other .... Always wear a helmet kids -
Sorry I was a bit unclear there.. Let me explain.. The body was not designed to get poisoned periodically to booze and smoke.. Chemicals in drugs, booze and smokes change the way your system functions after some time.... Like for example.. Chemicals in LSD, Cocaine and so on hamper with your memory, decision making and hormonal activity. Even though it gives you a great "high"(Cocaine, Marijuana) or makes you more enlightened and aware (LSD) It still isnt what your body was designed to handle. Booze gives you a "kick" but then it plays havoc with your brain, liver, digestive system.... ^ O_O went off course there || All that I am saying is that there are some things that are overrated and one of them is homosexuality.. We are ready to accept gay actors (dont remember any right now) , singers (Elton John, George Michael) who have given great hits ... Reached the top of charts because we supported their music... Yet we wanna crib about homosexuality being wrong I think patrickcurl and the feedbacker put out two good points :- 1. We are fighting for the wrong cause.. We should be fighting against corruption, war and so on.. But heck i guess attacking homos with pitchforks and torches is easier than fighting corruption. 2. It is all in the minds of the person.. As they say.. "In the eyes of the beholder" One person sees good and the other sees bad.

If you park the domain test-test.com over test-test.trap17.com, both will work . If you park testing-testing.com under test-test.trap17.com then all 3 domains will work..but for all 3 to work the primary/main domain has to be test-test.trap17.com. Otherwise you can have test-test.com as the primary domain and all the other as parked domains except test-test.trap17.comIn short.. If you want test-test.trap17.com to work, you have to have to have test-test.trap17.com as your primary domain.

What Pests Do You Have? Ringworm, maggots, mice, or bed bugs?
velma replied to Watermonkey's topic in Home & Garden
This is really funny.. When I saw this topic in the list.. I though it was a duplicate of "What pets do you have?" but guess not..I have cockroaches, lizards, spiders and mosquitoes vandalizing my place.. But cockroaches are not a problem as I have 2 cats and 2 dogs :(Lizards are! My mother is scared of them so whenever a lizard is in the same room as her, I have to remove them :(It was a pleasure reading A200's post -

Hi keego, I would suggest that you buy a moisturizer according to your skin type rather than brand name or popularity.. It makes a heck lot of difference to the skin when you use the right or wrong type My mom uses Nivea and I too use that along with aloe vera gel as I travel a lot by public transport.. But Olay too is good, a link I think that might help your search http://www.skincareguide.ca/ Have A Happy New Year!

Hi,I would agree with the other's advice and would also suggest that you change the color of the website, the blue started hurting my eyes as the font and the background were almost similar colors.I like the Google Search.. Looked cute but like I said before you need to change the color of your website.. Add some design like FLaKeS said.. Blend in the ads and stuff..Otherwise I liked your website.. Keep the great working going.. Best Of Luck.Have A Happy New Year!
