I have to agree with anwii on this. The reason i'm backing anwii on this is because i have seen one more host (called http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ )who is using hostwoot.com reseller account which is itself hosted on impliweb site. And the guy who is hosting his reseller account don't have idea about spell checker. Read his site's front page right now and check how much he lacks in english. And if you suggest him about this then he'll refute his mistake and will make personal attack. The guy(named as rohit who is with username: rohit09 on hostwoot.com) who is hosting http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ is very arrogant and is taking advantage of people by making free hosting accounts and turning into paid hosting of it. Obviously overselling the hosting and getting money from people by cheating by selling them free space which he gets from another host. Anyway, let's not make it bad mouthing about that host. My point is to tell you that don't be like that guy and go through spell checker and pay someone for site description and graphics. Take your time, and make small yet accurate steps in hosting service.

You are clicking on your own links ? If so, then you'll get banned for sure. If not and these are clicks from visitors then i think this will not stay persistent that way.There are always ups and downs in earning. So don't take that 15cents per click granted for all clicks.

That is possible Only if you reach 100$ in your account of kontera. Which is less likely to be in 2-3 years. No one from trap and Xisto ever reached that amount. So i doubt there will be any earning from kontera. You should sign up with infolinks or some another site that offers similar site. You will not get 100$ from kontera in a year and they don't count your previous money if it's not reached 100$ in last 6 months. Anyway, do as you will.

@TDH, by ripping off or using creative commons work you won't get publicity or fame you need as blogger. But your blog will be in category of black hat seo people who use autoblog or rip off blogs. It is better to start your own blog with content written on your own, it doesn't matter if you go wrong with spell mistakes/typos first. But more you write on your own will improve your english and blogging skill. So i suggest that instead of quoting and using sources from eweek or some other sites. Start writing on your own,if you want help with writing let me know i'll help you give pointers whenever and with anything that i can do with.

I just checked the whois for litesh and found some information like here. It is not hosted on it's own and it is with impliweb hosting reseller account. (I'm not sure whether you guys are hosted on dedicated/shared etc).But i suggest it is better to get your own server or VPS account if you wish to have better hosting and people around your forum And when i searched the order page i found that you guys are using Thehosting tool for the hosting billing and management. Which in my opinion not a professional tool if you wish to expand your business. You may want to try the software called whmservice for billing purpose. And if you know that xisto uses professional software like kayko for support/whm for billing and management. So use of free tools for professional hosting will limit you in terms of features. If you want affordable billing then try ipanel, you'll get more features for hosting management and billing. The way you proceeded is same as many people who are starting with reseller hosting these days. I have seen many people from hostwoot,meekhost and hostcell.net are reselling and overselling to their users. ytechsupportforum also started same way and many people later learned that it was overselling.These hosts are succeeding to some extent to pull users and visitors by offering large space and BW but if you want to build forum traffic and earn from it like xisto then you have to be patient and it will take more than 2 years. I don't want to discourage you but i want to tell you that your service is same like those overselling post2host resellers. This is not the way Xisto started. They approached professionally as far as i know. In any case, you being competitor to xisto changes nothing between you and members here. I just found out that isohunt is loaded with new torrents which were earlier on mininova. Now that if we populate it and talk about it too much then that site will be taken down as well. So shhhh don't make noise that there are some torrent on that site. . I hope we find more torrent trackers as alternative to mininova. And yes, Pirate Bay is not at all closed, it is just doing fine. And only thing i have seen is that there is limited amount of torrents are on pirate bay. So people are less searching on that site.Maybe private trackers will rule the web now, you can say subscription based sites will rise.

I don't think that Macintosh is complete closed source. It is based on UNIX (i.e MACH kernel). So most of the softwares for BSD 4.X kernel runs well on macintosh and in fact it is loaded with those open source software to begin with. So i don't think that it is closed software in anyway. I think the poster which i quoted meant it in different way. Cause mac os x, linspire OS which are either derivatives of UNIX/LINUX are indeed commercial versions of those open source softwares or source code. So i disagree that Macintosh is closed source in anyway. Microsoft is the only operating system left these days which is having closed source kernel and without any open source module in system.

I would like to know what is that term "software closed" ? I know that it's hardware dependent but what is software closed and if it means there are less software for it you mean then you're wrong. There are emulators which let you use macintosh on windows operating system. You won't able to use it to max. But it's not like that you can't use it.

Megavideo hosted movies are illegal unless they explicitly mention that it is free to stream movie. No matter how many people put this code on their site. Point is that once megavideo gets notified for abuse report for the movie link. They'll take it down in anyway. So there is no way you should put on your site as xisto and you both are in trouble for sharing such streaming links. Posting humor or trailer or lolvieos on wordpress blog is one thing and sharing movie links is another thing.This is not allowed at xisto even if it's not hosted in xisto. As you are streaming from megavideo, it is same as seeding torrent so better avoid such things. Or else you'll get your xisto account terminated. I'm sure opaque will not allow such piracy streaming on xisto.

ACER and DELL are good option if we are earning those high points within the free points system of lockerz. As i afraid lockerz will hardly keep their free points for long time. They'll stop this anytime, most probably in next year 2010 i.e in January onwards. So better to redeem points before they shut their doors of free things and restrict it like cashle or points2shop.

After looking at that case, i don't think that it is good idea anymore. Besides that if they allow one case to let it go then their competitors or many other people will use their trademark products. I'm member of warrior forum and i have seen one case where amazon wants sue one guy for using their kindle trademark in the domain. That guy used the kindle name in domain and is selling amazon products. So this is copyright infringement and also this is against their TOS of affiliate marketing. Amazon contacted him and is asking him to give up domain name. Instead of fighting with them he needs to give up his domain name and continue with affiliate marketing using another domain. Most of the people replying are asking him to give up on domain and continue good relationship with amazon. They are even telling him how to proceed in such cases. If you have option to choose from macbook,vaio,dell and acer then i think this is easy choice to go for either macbook/air or dell. vaio an acer are not worth the buy any time when we compare them with macbook & dell. If you can't have that many points and lockerz shut down free points system then i think it's better to pick any lower points scale products. In such case, acer or dell is fine.

I doubt about that demonoid/ahashare people are still active behind the scenes and pirate bay still have movie torrents with them. So loss mininova doesn't make much difference. Besides that warez world is not just on mininova but also on some porn sites . So if you don't get torrent here then you'll get torrent from some other place. I feel sad. But i felt very bad when mininova was shut down cause dattebayo was distributing official bleach episodes from mininova and it was very exciting to get each episode from mininova. Linux does have updates and it with ubuntu or suse you'll get desktop notification for the updates. So it's not that they don't have updates. It does have updates.
