That is not true. I have got that plugin working, i already posted about that here on Xisto i guess that was topic of softaculous. I don't know if current version is supporting to 2.5.1 or not. But i have got my earlier version working with it for my cpanel's wordpress version.

Instead of doing it manually, there are two ways. One offficial wordpress upgrade and another one is "Wordpress automatic upgrade" plugin. That way work is much faster and newbie friendly when it comes to update.

Yes but here i have seen that there are some tests (refering to one thread) where i have seen that free software firewalls are much working while NOD32 got 4%rating on firewall test. So i don't know how reliable the test is but shocked to see NOD with such low remark on firewall. If i'm not wrong people are preferring it over kaspersky and mcfee because of it's performance. Not sure, how those tests showed it with such low ranking. I wonder what real ranking will Norton will get if we test their internet security product and it's performance.

Sky, if you take a look at the hsoting companies like slicehost and some other reputed companies. You'll find the VPS packages offered here are much better and competitive. Slicehost offers initial package at 28$ while CH offers the same at 20$. Dreamhost,media temple, wired tree are the top in VPS and cost high as well. CH and Slicehost are much cheap upto 512 MB RAM. After that for higher RAM i guess it is better to go with wired tree or some other host.

First this guide is not for all. There are many such ripoff services already and this will only lead to loss. Imagine any random kid in the block with internet access can start hosting service and can cheat people with rip-off overselling hosting. For example,look at this guy who can hardly type properly started http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ hosting services.One more site which is doing such rip-off thing is gigaspace.co.uk and they are offering hosting packages from site which is itself hosted on VPS and overselling with free hosting and resller packages.(check hostwoot.com and you'll know) Do you expect uptime and quality from such services ? They hardly know the technical stuff and they are going to help people solve their problems ? I doubt about that one. It is good idea to start hosting this way and can benefit some people as starter. But looking at the long term to this it is not recommended or even worth to get into rip-off overselling business. Besides charging 1-3$ for reseller package of hostgator is going to pay the bills ? there is lot of money involved in domain registration, support and forums etc. Who is going to pay for that as well ? Adsense/kontera is not going to be long term earner if the sites are hosted on oversold servers. Think before you get into that business, not all are successful in ripping reseller packages. You can try though if you want to.

Same here. I'll go with NOD32 anytime. Some of the reasons are that NOD32 is fast loading and is perfect for scanning files and webpages than norton. Norton skipped many malicious pages which nod32 catched for me. Also when it comes to system resource Nortom is always hands down winner . It takes more resource and makes system usable. I'll prefer NOD32 anytime over Norton, i don't know how norton fans can back it up for long and even they do i guess they are the only one spending money with norton.

Coughlin). i don't know the text inside it are just words or they actually mean something practically. But that is what i have seen with people studying occult.

I doubt this is the case here. MyBB/Vb/SMF have points system MOD based on the number of characters. So with each reply they allocate some points to member replies or threads. This mod is tweaked in IPB(or maybe earlier credits mod) and used to give mycents to members. I doubt that there are forums that manually allocate points this way for hosting. Not even Xisto can do that. Mycents here update in 10-20 minute time. There are some traffic activity on Xisto and even that period mycents take same 10-20 minute update time. This is because mycent server/script is in sync with xistosupprt billing area. So in this case your assumption of manual mycent allocation is just another possibility and there is no proof unless admins back on it. I don't want people to get upset with mycents as they are working fine for lot of people and we have secured our hosting plans that way. I wonder if any other hosting service offers such professional support and quality in exchange for paid to post option. Let's not ruin this service with some one-sided assumption. One point where most of people agree with (and even i'm) is about post editing. I want that option available as well. I often make typos and unless someone quotes me i can't figure out where i was wrong and right in sentences. I'm no editing my posts anyway but still that option is handy when we seriously make some opinion and want to edit our post in future so that some old thread bumpers don't quote on that posts. Well kirupa who is in product development of expression blend has many goodn tutorials. Expression blend is what you should for your silverlight apps. But if you want free editor then Sharpdevelop can help you with code but for graphics it is not suitable and you have to spend money on editor if you want to get into development.

We are advancing and are definitely much better than celt and mayans on many ways. Besides that sci-fi texts helped more than anything in my opinion. In early 90's there was movies of paper displays, touch screens and that technology was not there in that time. But now we are seeing the results. We are advancing slowly but much better than those temple/monument builders in my opinion. We have managed to get our knowledge across globe, we have managed to cure diseases which used to be curse earlier, we have managed to do many things which were not possible and which earlier civilizations failed to do so.

I think you need to decide what you want. If you want to be in web development then python,php,asp are great ways to start directly. Wasting time in C/C++ will just increase your time. There are some people who started into php/python directly and learned the suff. Python is easy and people recommend it cause you get immediate results on interpreter. And that makes learning curve faster. I'll not go with personal opinion here. But first decide what you want, desktop programming or web. Based on that choose language that is easy and can help you switch to another one later. If you decided to go with desktop programming, SmallBasic is what MS came up recently and that you can use to learn. It gives quick results like python. But again, i repeat you need to know your goal before you can learn any language. You can learn multiple language and their features but that will simply distract you from goal. If you want to learn web development and create some bots then starting up with c++ is waste as of now. So concentrate on what you want and learn particular language that can benefit you for the task. You'll learn c++ and do what with web development ? i mean you need those script/bots etc, so this will not come handy immediately ofcourse c++ will be helpful somewhere else. But stick with what is your requirement right now.

Point is about dynamic approach. HTML files can be dynamically processed with database queries using PHP. While with HTML you can't do this. (wait, HTML 5 is not out yet, so let's not bring that one here for that db support). So PHP is useful if you want dynamic website. Even for bots capturing some random data from site can use asp/php/jsp for this dynamic approach. HTML/CSS are very easy to learn. And even if you forget the basics later you can cover these two up in 1-2 hours. But for PHP/ASP practice and demo projects are must and you need to update yourself as well.

That is one good point. But when we opt for paid version of forum ? Only when we notice that there lacks some support and customization/features in open source/free version. Vb and IPB lost lot of customers cause of free software as there was good competition from free boards software. Both these forum companies came back in business with their new version by adding more support, version updates and features in their latest version which tempts many people to go with them. Most of time i have seen that if we build product on which we can let small business survive then there are lot of chances that product will do good. for example, vb is more preferred these days as there is lot of business made on it with skins, mods and other add-ons from 3rd party. Harder to get these things makes harder for customer to choose that product. And only way customer can choose that if it is free, and if they go with that product just cause if it's free then they are making small hole in economy by not paying. If they were supporting the open-source software by donating or funding i could have never doubted this model. But the way people leech open-source/free software and not returning to community is what makes me doubt on this model.

From that link i have found that, ESET's NOD32 is rated as 4% score. Man, it is in not-recommended zone. Never faced any issues with it but i don't know how this test is taken. I can't afford separate firewall on my computer so i guess have to go with that non-recommended ESET.

Regionalism is at pick these days. But there are two sides of it. For example, Hindi is making it difficult for other languages in state to survive. Don't blame those regions if they find hindi takeover fear. Personally i don't support separate telangana and separate mumbai. But case of mumbai is different there hindi speakers want separation so that they can freely speak hindi for the sake of it and without giving attention to local culture and language. Anyway, this is going to hurt india in long term view..

It is like buying expensive thing and not using it in hope that it will get steal and will make life sad. So people better not waste money on such console, atleast after repair you can throw traditional consoles. What about this one ? can anyone throw these consoles if they get beyond capacity of repair ?

I partly disagree with this. Some people even if they have money will never donate to software peojects and even code for them. If they want some free or opensource they'll be the first in line to get it. But when it comes to paying for it they back out. We have freeloaders all arround us, even we are in one way or the other. But open source to some extent is killing market. Programmers instead of creating their own proejects wants some free source code and expect others to post free of their hard work,just for the sake of education. And rippers who ask for help from others later charge people for posting so this is double-edged face of some people who just leech out open source and leak the market. Open source/free software is good to Some extent after that it just kills jobs of many good people and leaves nothing for business.
