Well i said this earlier and i want to ask all those who are into IPB forums. Do you know any other better alternative for the shoutbox ? If so then please give it away and ask opaque to test things out. Also i noticed that shoutbox on asta is working fine,is it default one or some 3rd party ?

That is not one good reason to leave. I have many question in my mind related to xisto and other programming related stuff. But i never expect that i should leave some place just cause people don't want to answer me, or i didn't get answer from them etc. Moderators are not perfect, why expect that moderators should answer each and everything related to people problems. Why moderators should take pains to answer any random member ? Does that member paying him ? Let's get it straight like that member even moderator is getting his free hosting and contributing his free time for hosting. Why not newbies take pain to search the forum even after many mods and regular users tell them to do so ? Besides if people are expecting moderators and admin to take pain then they should join services where they are getting more for their bucks. Taking advantage of free service by expecting more help to every question from members i like taking advantage of the service. For me i feel offended with this "take pain" point, i know i have been wrong on this forum many times and many times i don't get answers but i never forced mods/admin to take pain for that. Agree, edit button is not working well but that happens cause some people are taking advantage of system by editing replies and topic 2/4 times or more. so it's obvious that it is removed. Another one like the first, is it an attempt to take advantage of opaque ? Will you give money from your pocket just like that to encourage your clients ? Nah, easy to say but hard to do. Nirmal, if you're from india then go to any nearest ICICI bank and purchase prepaid debit cards. They start from 1000 Rs onwards (check in your state/city for exact rates). Once you get those cards, you're allowed to use them on any national/international ATM or online shopping. Make sure you get Visa/Mastercard connected card. Note: Maestro service from mastercard doesn't allow you to use the card online. Also one more point is unless your card is allowed to be used for online usage from bank you can't use them on paypal as well. Well there is lot of talk about save this and that. But how can we're going to save tigers just by awareness . We live in country where celebs and politicians kill animals in jungle and easily get away with it. They even get awards despite of such actions from them. So what's the point in awareness. Many times it is hard to find out that the donation reaches to people or not. In my country, pick any religious charity and donate and poof money will never reach to where it is supposed to reach. So i avoid those charities as much as i can. I see if i can make direct donation or help. There are many ways to do that if we are close to such people. Other than that, many celebs have spent their money on haiti, so we can expect money is reaching to the place where it is supposed to be. I see the irony here. I'm from india and i see that indians are more racial and religion,regionalist. Many politicians have agenda here not to let person from another state to enter into theirs. So that way indians deserve to call aussies racist ? Nope. Besides looking at the rate of religion and regional extremism i feel that my own country is more into discrimination than any other(except islamic countries where no other religion is tolerated).

Seriously, if you ask me it is hard to solve some of the puzzle. most of time you don't get it the way to type answers in the URL. i got stuck over there. maybe i'm not good into programming or didn't get it ? whatever.

Today google have olympics logo. They did some changes for the regionwise i guess. Some part of the world have still default logo while india and us have olympics logo. not all country portals are updated so far.

I beg to disagree, is opensource helps pay the bills for small developer. If so there is no problem with open source. Free and open is always better for the learning curve, but there needs to be sales pitch else it is hard in terms of economy. Open source is part of better world, it is not a better world in itself.

Well we know that it is not like google buzz. but the buzz is making more buzz than wave. wave serves different set of application than buzz and it is totally different. Google buzz is like friendfeed, just services removed and made google only. i prefer friendfeed over google buzz as there is more chances of doing things and promoting with friendfeed than google buzz. So i'm sticking with friendfeed for promotion and connecting with multiple social networks.

Well Buzz is boring and it is just twitter clone+ threaded comment offer there. Nothing much over there. Wave is also on similar lines of buzz+email. Wave has lot of option there than buzz. i have seen some people making their business around on wave api. there are some games and features so far for the wave.But it seems that there is decline of usage for wave. I don't know how many people are using wave as of now. but i have just used it 2-3 times. tested few apps and that's all to it. There is actually one good reason paypal have for doing that: Many companies and users have used gift and personal payment option in paypal to avoid fees. That way paypal missed lot of revenue. So they banned those features for india as indians found way to save their money from fees or tax.But my question is if they found this feature, didn't they thought about it before making it ? What's the point in it to blocking in 2010 ? Were they sleeping for last 5-6 years ? Another valid reason paypal for blocking is it's issue with indian banks, rule in 2008 RBI passed for such payments made conflict with paypal earnings so they wake up in 2010 feb 1st to stop indians to show that they heard about that rule in 2008 now. I like this "my ignorance but your punishment" style of paypal. I have managed to convenience my clients on freelance site to use alertpay. So expect some similar fall from other people as well. There will be sure some member fall off in near future. As asian's are using Liberty reserve and alertpay already so i don't expect much loss for them, it's just that things like kontera and similar sites which used to get money from paypal. they have to think about indian publishers now. and such ad networks rarely think about publisher end they only think about their business. so there is economic loss for some time in india, but i'm sure we'll find something out for this. And once we do, i'm sure we'll change course of this paypal for sure.

Well if the processing is that fast and if they do return money without any fees attatched then that is good, just hope that people don't misuse some good features in any host. I mean not cutting some service tax is just another great feature that many host offers unlike some big names. So all i can say is people should not abuse system for such good service. Oh and i agree with anwii on that 1.60$, it is one of the cheapest option in here and because of that i would like to pay for the years hosting fee in one go. thanks opaque for that.

I'm not fan of dell products but some products like alienware and inspiron made me think sometimes. But if you want to get it for something at 500$ then go for toshiba satellite. Dell is bit costly if you opt for better config else toshiba offers much good desktop at lower price.So far my observation about toshiba company and their customer reviews are positive. So you can search a bit more for that price if you don't get any thing then go with Toshiba satellite.

Paypal have members cause it offered convenience and nothing else. It is not trusted,it has more issues and flaws to settle even to qualify for word called trusted. Google checkout seems to be more friendlier towards US/UK market as of now. Those who will target Asia/Pacific are likely to get more customers. As of now alertpay is pitching lot of sales against paypal and now that paypal did this move by blaming indian government then sure alertpay or similar companies will cash in.Many indian business started to take money from the paypal alternatives now. In this week i guess paypal lost more money than they can imagine. I expect rise of google checkout and alertpay. And it is good for us than paypal in my opinion.

Dolphin can be configured to look exactly like facebook. You can check google for the dolphins community version. They also have paid version for more configuration. As rvalkass already mentioned Elgg is one more site where you can get facebook like functionality. There are some other clones as well. You can search google with "Facebook clone script". Well slight diversion to topic. But anyone who have signed up for alertpay will get email from them with title either "send and receive money India" or "send and receive money Asia". Just to pick the users from india/asia as their payments are blocked by paypal,this is business opportunity for them Perfect timing to get customers from asia(especially india). Paypal has given very bad reason of government and local authorities issue of payments on their official blog. But other payment processors are doing just fine if they made reason of clearing with local bank exchanges etc. So this looks like trouble for paypal. If they didn't settle this early then i guess many people will migrate to systems like alertpay or another and that will drop paypal into internet payment gateway competition among other services. Even 1% of loss is going to bite them due to banning payments in asia. More worst if any freelance company like elance/getafreelancer started accepting alertpay/2checkout or webmoney/perfectmoney.
