I'm not good at teaching to anyone face to face. I have little less courage for stage teaching or presentation. I can teach anyone on the internet though. LOL. I do have worst experience about the teaching some students on teachers day. I think i will never ever gonna teach after that. That aside i had seen some of the worst teachers and douchebag professors in my life. Because of this i hate teachers profession. I really hate it.

I think there should be category for anime in general. Creating another sub category for anime titles can create a lot of navigational junk. Safety belt are not common in india. People die even with that putting on. The extreme cases of accidents is what causing this. There is no way person survives with or without belts. But still they ask us to compulsory keep them on highways. In city there is no compulsion for belts. The number of accidents in city are far less than the cases on highways. If you can post about queries and issues instead of general topics then you are likely to get some good response. One liner post less likely to get some responses. Heard some good reviews about komodo and panda as well. You might want to check and add komodo to your list.

It is not just you,sheepdog. I raised this point in mycent topic before and had huge debates with others. Mycent is harder to earn now and it's not what doing opaque posted about. We are not getting rewarded for posting wikipedia or credible site links or when people add reputation points. It's not just happening what he said in update. You can guess why mycents are earning low and why opaque and admins are less active here. By stetting mycents to low, spam decreases which makes it easy for them to be less active while our activity increases. Besides that opaque assigned top posters extra mycent per post( if that is what i got nottified in mycent thread) so our earning and some other posters earning who are top poster will differ and they will disagree when you claim about low earning per post. New mycents is screwed, anyway this is same old rant and people rarely believe what we say on that. So if you are getting less mycents then there is no way to earn more mycent than posting more.

No. Not via FTP or file manager then what's the point of using wordpress auto-update or theme update from withing the dashboard ?I guess there is some server side issue that is preventing us from updating the softwares. If you notice current 3.0.0 version has some issues with uploading. If we start to use file manager or FTP to upload the files then what's the point of fantastico or wordpress dashboard ? if this persists then i would have to say that xisto servers are in 2000 to have feature like use FTP and file manager.

There are some task manager alternatives as well. I have one software called Auslogic taskmanager which does everything that task manager can plus many other things. Only place when i found it better over other things is that when i got virus because of which task manager was not open. In that case auslogic software was helpful for me to solve some issues related to virus. I think you should keep atleast one task manager alternative on your desktop. or on USB because who knows when you need some softwares like that.

1TB is lot to me and we are dicussing 1PTB which is huge. I think for next year even 1-2 TB is enough for me. I don't think i'll manage to reach 1PTB range for myself. In fact unless i download from all the torrents and kindle sites then i guess i don't need this much big space. LOL.This is huge and i think perhaps we are not even ready for this much space. Cost is also too high so yes it takes some time to get in running in commercial market.

Some of the softwares from opencandy and similar shareware softwares contain the spyware. It tracks the data and the software usage and do the suggestion based on that. You can even see the digsby as big spyware. There are many such softwares which installs on your disk and collect data and transfer while updating their componenets. You need to understand and read security forums to know about them. I found out digsby like spyware messenger from security forums when they examined it as spyware.

I remember the time when i used to play NFS for straight 3 hours or more. Then i lost the interests and after that developed my interest in MMORPG. Now i play some shooting and RPG games. Racing , GTA and some criminal games are boring and i find it really waste of time. I'm not going to waste time again on NFS or similar games it looks boring for me.

All my sites are on Logic Plan. 2 sites are on old Xisto - Web Hosting's Plan C. Features on all these are the same and there is no difference. Besides that CH enabled java for me on one host but i don't use it anymore.Softaculous is similar to fantastico deluxe but comes up with more software variety than fantastico. Installation in painless from there as well. Upgrading is also cool. I don't know if softaculous is still exist in cpanel cause it had paid license for hosts so don't know if its working or not.

For the legacy file managers you can click on link (not folder icon) then in right hand side frame there is one link for extract. Clicking that link will extract the contents of zip or tar archives. For non-legacy file manager, deadmad7 explained it in earlier reply. Though with nonlegacy file manager you can view the icon for zip extract easily.

Avoid buying Celeron series whenever possible. You can't do graphics or heavy documenting with that processor. About your office files you can use open office or gogole docs to open those files. Google docs support multiple file types so i guess you can work with them online. If the files are from microsoft then you can use online office edition like google docs to edit files. Its free as well.

deadmad is right. Gamma, Kappa are giving some database headaches for quite some time now. I have one site which is earning me a lot and i face downtime and database issue frequently on that one. Because site is having impression based ads i am losing some money on table. I wish things don't get screwed like that. Besides that there are some issues with wordpress automatic updates as it is not letting us to write on server. @deadmad,similar big downtime issue happened during 2008 for about one week. If rvalkass, SM, velma remembers that downtime of server transfer. But other than this type of downtime is not often as per my observation. One particular server might go down but not all.

Yes there is FTP and FTP SSL option. Wordpress is competent about major features like update so these features are available. But this is where things are going wrong when used from dashboard. Plugin, themes and any other uploading is not working. I have to manually upload the stuff. Which is not the nice way things are set here. I want to know why servers are not letting us do the update ? any secuirty issue ? or something perhaps. By the way is softaculous working for you ?

I'll try to avoid dummies and complete reference series for plenty of reasons. They can make you paralyzed when it comes to concepts. There are some other books which i think you should prefer. Sitepoint books are one of the best books i ever came across on topic of web design. I rate those books over any other series or publication. Here is the link - Sitepoint Books - library. Other than that there is - Web Database Applications with PHP & MySQL, 2nd Edition. And PHP Cookbook, which contains example and concepts. Oh and there is one book from smashing magazine as well but i'm not aware of the place so i can't give you the link, but you can search for that.

I'm not posting this thread in official support forum because of following reasons- 1. I have to confirm if the problem that i have is common with rest of the people.2. Official support threads are rarely answered here so most of the time we have to open ticket for that.That settled. I want to know how many of you can eaesily upgrade your wordpress installation from dashboard ? is there any error while upgrading ? is there any issue while upgrading ? how many of you used softculous to install any script ? if not and if it's not usable then why it is in cpanel ?Okay now let me be specific about only wordpress and my cpanel issue:I'm trying to upgrade wordpress but i'm getting errors which can't be resolved from client issue as they are server related. I checked this with wordpress official forum and there are some tweaks that need to be taken from server side sometimes to let installer write on public_html folder. Most of the time i can't upgrade plugin/theme and wordpress from dashboard which is why i opened this thread. Manual upgrading is hard for me because i'm using GPRS to connect to internet so downloading then reuploading will take appx 5 days provided that connection remains stable. Fantastico deluxe has issue with official upgradation so can't use that as well. I don't think there are any solution to this. One solution could be like giving cpanel id and pass to support and let them upgrade 6 of my blogs. which is tedious task for me and them and i'm unsure if they can help in this every time say 2-4 months with each wp upgrade. even in situation where i can automate this from dashboard but apparently things on server side are broken.By the way is wordpress upgrade working for you in dashboard ?So my issue is :1. I can't upgrade my wordpress and plugin, themes from dashboard.2. I can't edit themes from dashboard (because i can't edit permission on server which let me do that).Any idea how to get around this ?

I found chrome useful as well. I downloaded the AD-BLOCK plus for that and things are going fine. You can also download other add-ons or what they call extension. Only thing for which i'm waiting right now is the extension that can count words for me when i select the text. I want for the draft usage.

I used to enjoy sunday untill university decided to hold lectures on sundays and declared holiday for my engineering stream. Monday is holiday for the power-grid maintenance. And because of that i used to like mondays. Then this schedule changed again and i was back at sunday. So i guess there is no one specific day. I try to enjoy almost every day in the week. It's just that when i find time for myself i end up enjoying that day. But i enjoyed the saturday because of parties, drive and some fun with friends. But that is long gone now. Life is normal with monday to friday working and two holidays.
