What this topic is about ? Why are you creating topics like this that makes no sense. I think it's high time to notify opaque about this. It's not that members don't tolerate newcomers on forum. But what you are doing is really annoying. What the hell is with this right of posting and all ? I mean what is your intention with this forum ?. I have doubt about your profile being one of old member but i can't recall it who it could be. If my doubt is wrong then please let us know what is with you and such threads in this forum ?

NTLDR is the file that keeps the partition information for your windows file. Now in order to keep the dual boot. You need to either reinstall the windows or have to format it. The way it is screwed up can be fixed with boot disk of both windows and red hat. Most likely this can't be solved by simply copy pasting the file as it contains the information about where is the partition that windows seeks. I think you need to use bootdisk of redhat and use LILO to solve this issue. I don't know how to get NTLDR back without boot disk. So you need to get the disk for windows.

Ash,Few things i would like to tell you. First thing is about URL's. The current URL structure will not attract what you call 3k visitors from search engines. You need to change URL structure to something better. You can have "/month/postname/" or "/postname" etc. Avoid current URL structure that you are running. I guess you are yet to tweak the blog. I don't know how blog like this can fetch 3k per day. It's far fetched claim in my opinion. Work on SEO and design of your site and i am sure you will reach 3k slowly but surely. Do these changes and come back so that we can see how it looks. Also do web page analysis for speed- tags etc. Do this and we'll see if it needs more tweaks.

I think this reply winds up entire thread. As they say those who forgets history makes mistake of repeating. Knowing the limited world scenario, people and other probability parameters we end up repeating many parts of the history anyway. It's not that we have a choice of not repeating it. But it is more of necessity to let things go. We don't have to keep strict eye on history but atleast on things which makes sense sometimes. History is interesting just like physics and chemistry. People can inspire us and their action can also teach us many things. It's just that one should not get blinded with actions of single person and start fan campaign as one for all then that way history becomes religion anyway. People need to have reasoning skills to relate.

VMWare works fine with all the operating systems that are released after 2007. Even the files for the virtual mahcine can be transfered to another OS and run from that version of vmware. If that is what you ask me about the transfering of files.Eve microsoft virtual pc has option to transfer the same files to mac based software of it and run the os from there. It is possible if those software are multi-platform. There is VMware version for almost every platform out there. You just need to find where to download the software. It works just fine and has no issues with most of the popular platforms. I hope that answers your query.

I was talking about creative commons search engine. You can find a lot of images which you can use it just like free stock images. Thing is that if you are editing it too much beyond their original feel i doubt there is need to even give attribution for that. In fact many photoshop users do that without attribution. Corbis used to submit commons images on yahoo india for quite some time. I don't know if they still do that or not. Obviously they are not doing that on their homepage because this is where they have business. Other than creative commons you can check sites like - Stockvaultand fotosearch.

You can write at constant content, xomba, snipsly and many other writers site. I found theinfomine.com site beneficial to post my articles. There is nofollow tag on their articles but if you use it to generate the traffic then there is no issue with that. You will be possibly able to fetch a lot of traffic. Plus they allow adsense revenue sharing so expect some good results. Xomba is also one such site that can give you good results. Snipsly allows small snippet of 100 words on articles and you can even earn 80% adsense revenue from that site. Worth joining such revenue share in my opinion.

AW survey may be one of the site that does this. But i came across some good survey sites which used to be geographic location centric. But later on when they open to all then started the data tampering. People from india started to talk about stores and products in US. How vague and worst this is going to be ? China and Philipino people posting on UK surveys ? what the hell ? This is the reason there are some sites which offers surveys and coupons only to people in that geographical area. This removes the spam and useless data collection. You do have point about that but my view is from both side of fences. There is something wrong with the customer and feedback collection from such survey sites.

Don't get me wrong but that gallery on top takes too much time for dial-up users to download. Those who have their own datacenters are always better than those who are using servers on others facilities. Even Xisto/CH/ renews your domain if you set it to auto-renew mode. Just disable that option. It is available with almost every domain and hosting company. There is nothing wrong with domain registrar if they allow you to enable or disable the domain renewal. Your point stays valid if there is no such feature at all.

If you spam too much then you get warning first because of which you get negative mycents and that burden takes more than 100 posts or so get over. With new mycents update expect this count at higher number. Though mods and admin can turn your negative number into positive. So you never know if you honestly post without spam. If they find your account with spam and copied post then your xisto billing account is likely to be terminated. Mycents are lost too. If you don't bump old topic, don't copy posts and troll or spam arround then there should be no problem. Related post in the bottom or in the navigation is not for replying everytime. Some threads deserves to be dead and are not supposed to be bumped. Like this there are some other forum etiquette which you need to look for. What you're posting right now if fine and you don't have to worry about. Just avoid repeating what previous poster is saying for you and avoid un-necessary old topics. I think that will settle your questions.

Actually these sites started with the aim of collecting consumer data or opinion. It was fine before the start of internet era. But now internet's population gives vague replies to such survey's so that is why this data is rarely useful. Other than forum and blog posts people rarely voice opinion about products. That makes it hard for such sites to sustain. They are not necessarily be scam all the time. Besides how many of us give surveyes seriously to call them scam ?. These sites are facing hard time and need to come up with better improved survey sites or software if they wish not to get bankrupt.

This is true. And there was one girl who played 4 days straight to reach the last level and she died both in game and in real life. It was a big news few years ago about this. Technically we're working on asta and Xisto so i can't say it is free hosting. We're writing a lot of content that is giving us free hosting. So it's not completely free hosting. It just repays us back for our content and that is just plain business. If i have to count those free hosts with pure free-ness in it then list will be too long. But some i do remember which are closed now. Treeway- this was one good site with lots of free site building and space. sad it got lost with bankruptcy. Homepage- it was one good site which i used for building many pages on the internet. It is also shut down and replaced with real estate site. There are some pure non-P2H sites but they rarely keep up because of server load. They are no longer working and are less stable. So P2H are working fine for me. Attribution is what creative commons came up with to give value back to the author. Some of the authors allow attribution while some want to deal with business for this. So you need to see what is the author's inclination towards products i.e. images or other content.If it's in creative commons then you can surely see what license it has and take your action respectively. You can get it back. You need to download "PC inspector file recovery" software. It is free download and no spyware etc. Just make sure that you didn't overwrite any other data when you found the deletion of those files. Because if you got the drive filled again over those deleted files then these files cant be fully recovered. Do you think getting scratches on Ibook screen forces people to buy new model from shop instead of replacing the screen ? Either you're purposefully stretching simple things for the sake of it or you don't know a thing about apple computers. Apple stores do maintenance and sell individual components as well. They sell operating system boxes, individual components like LCD screens, keyboards, motherboard, processor, mouse etc. Do one thing- put a scratch on your apple product screen and go to store and let me know if they force you to buy new product or they repair that component or replace that particular component. Head over to apple store if you have more misconceptions. It is possible to build such computers with apple OS in it. Like other jailbreak hacks it is also possible with apple. In fact many emulators/simulators are using non-apple intel processor and boards to run that. If psystar can do that then any average joe can do that as well.

As said earlier it depends. Xisto is much slower in getting mycents because of less activity. Many threads are in section which are not rewarding so in asta atleast you'll find some topics which rewards more mycents. But sometimes there is no activity on both forums. If you want logic plan then you need to get 14$ for domain and 28$ for the hosting. That means you need overall 42$ mycents roughly. It is possible to earn that much mycent by posting in both these forums. Remember to post in both forums and atleast post 5-10 posts in categories which are largely visited. Avoid art/poem and other section which has 0 to less value in eyes of mycent system.

You can transfer domain at xisto by paying 14$ registration cost for the year. There is no transfer fee. I transfered one domain from dreamhost and i know the procedures here at xisto.1. Lift the restriction on your domain at godaddy.2. Get the authorization code from the goddady settings.3. Give the authorization code to the Xisto - Support team4. Make sure that you get your privacy protection at godday on disable mode. 5. Other than privacy protection you need to also respond to the transfer requires which is aksed for you on the godaddy. I think they'll email you explicitly about the transfer so that you can enable it for the support team. I followed the above sequence for my registrar and it got transferred.

If it's .com or TLD's then you'll need to get 14$ in your mycent account. Which will take appx 1 month of posting on this forum if you post say 4 post a day ? I think you should go with the advice of quatrux and sign up for Xisto as well. And participate on forums there so that you can get mycents fast and in the half time. Mephisto is another CMS which anyone can use if they have ruby on rails experience. Personally i have no idea of how ruby on rails can be deployed so i got chance with hosted app. This app used mephisto in the backend which i used. It was excellent app with the use of the mephisto CMS. And as far as the extended plugins and themes are concerned i have no clue how to customize those.But with that app it looked like simple as it allowed to change CSS and with their framework it was easy. So those who are into ruby on rails should take a look at it.
