Have you checked indexhibit ? that app looks similar to stacyapp and does most of the things that you mentioned. I don't know how taking more pains with things makes one geeky but try indexhibit if you want to complicate things like stacyapp. Yes it is free and does most of the things similar to stacyapp. I don't know how it is going to replace wordpress, joomla or drupal but take a look at it anyway.

Except for the last statement which i quoted in bold everything is true about money making from automation and all. He does care for members but it's just that he doesn't get time out of life for this forum and members also give him pain sometimes. If we have mycent issue we can contact him and increase grace period sometimes for hosting and domain. No other community manager will do that but opaque does that for us. Not all is lost but just little Mycent which means a lot for some members like us who need mycents desperately these days.

As per my calculation this site gets 30k-40k visitors and that makes it high in revenue stream. Imagine the google impression rate for ads in this site. You can also guess the kontera ads value. Opaque does makes money and from the looks of it top 20 posters mycents are recovered in day or two easily. Because we are writing content and driving traffic for this site. Look at all the forum sections which are targeted by opaque.

That's true i'm using mycent to reduce the burden of my pocket. I have 2 of my sites covered upto 2011 but after that i have to rely on mycents from now on or have to pay. I can't jump to other hosts unless i get 200+$ to host and that is why i'm here. leaving that point aside i need mycent or real money to keep rest of the domains and hosting alive. I hope you can guess my situation. He didnt anounced that mycents will be low from now. he only said it will be easier which is lie as per our current results. anyway, leave that crying stuff aside. are going to buy hosting from here ? or you are planning something else ?

You can use the hamster mail server. I think hamster can be used with XAMPP so it should go easily with WAMP as well. yes this limit is started from new KS. And it is 51 actually. But due to our activity it always seen at 50 somehow. I don't know why and i don't want to give pain in brain for this forum issues. all is broken here anyway.

I'm here for 5 years out of which i guess i posted more than 500-600 posts without mycent or credit in expectation because i was in Xisto - Web Hosting paid plan. Seen many debates, personal attacks, newbie chasing etc etc. i realized that i'm spending less time on my own sites and more on others like this and it is not even rewarding me with mycents. so no point in thinking like community and old member. Just want to get the mycent here and spend the rest of time on my sites. As i know you so i suggest you to do the same. It's almost 10th month of this year and forum is still having issue. so why bother ? just get the mycent and get back to life.

Yes you have posting limitation here from now on. You can only make 50 posts here at Xisto. Earlier this limit was on 25 posts and glad it was raised to 50 posts. If you have anything to say that doesn't get mycent then it is better to say it in status update because 50 posts are valuable when we really need it in high traffic forum posting which kinda rare here these days.

Have you checked the new code ? try adding semicolon to each statement and write the program in one line in prompt. don't press enter till you write last statement. it seems to work with python 2.4 and ironpython 2.6. I don't know what you are trying with mac but it works irrespective of operating system. n=raw_input("your statement");print n; n=raw_input("another numberical exp");print n; above code written in one line should work should work.

24 hours ? never had it that way. It was always alternate day ever since it is started for me. I'm even getting 8 cents or 9 cents per post. Mycents are updating alternate day and are supposed to update yesterday i.e. saturday. I don't know what is wrong with cron script. Maybe it'll update at say 3:00pm as per GMT+5:30 zone if opaque comes online as usual. Anyway, this whole thing is just gross instead of complaining for it just post on topics or create more topics. It wastes a lot of our time by asking admins about it. I know opaque is busy in life and work but he can always keep things moving here and go offline or get busy again.

If i'm not wrong IDLE let's you can write the whole script and then execute it. You can save the script and then it on prompt. One bad practice i have seen in the code that you are using same variable name for both inputs. Why ? semicolon pushes the execution to next command till there is no statement left. Hope that works out. I was pointing you towards new mycents which rewards less and it doesn't take character count into mind. It just randomly assigns mycent value to our post based on page value and other factors. I hope you remember old things in mycent in some other discussions. It's all changed now for worst.

Exactly. Forum is close to dead and i see no point in keeping on topic discussions either. I need mycents for further payments and without tangent discussion i see no way of getting there. Knowledgesutra is post2host, just like other post2host- ihubhost, hostwoot etc.. There are some other free hosts if you don't want posting to get hosted..and want to spend more time with your site or monetizing. If this doesn't suit ya, angelfire and tripod are still open. Remember what you want, hosting or want to spend time with community. This is something like juggling which most of webmasters posting in post2host feel. 1. It came to my attention that higher post count members get less mycent. Why this is so ? is it something that for avoiding spam ? or it is for asking members to leave ? or is it that they are not useful anymore ? Play fair. Keep mycent amount same for all. 2. Mycent earning is going way to low. All the stuff that was mentioned in mycent 3.0 was not true at all. Linking to wikipedia, wisdom point etc. It is not raising any mycent value to users.3. I have no issues with admins. Just keep the place upadted with mods or new design, logo whatever. And please don't alter value of mycent to memebrs. Play fair and keep all members mycent value same. Just because member reached 2k or 10k post count don't add rule of low mycents. Anyway, i'm restricting my expectations to only mycents, i did my part in community and got tired with internal BS so i just expect mycent in proper functioning without any low mycent or other issues. Some sites are facing frequent downtime. My analytics shows drop sometimes and i can gurantee you that site with 500+ people never shows 0 people + 404 messages and downtime whistle alerts from netwhistle site. It is just getting into downtime issue instead of error in our end.

I don't know if they suspend or do anything with domain. But i guess they'll keep domain and site for 30 more days and then removal. I think you will earn enough mycents in mean time to recover your domain name. hosting can wait but domain is important. so keep posting.

Yes i know that some vet or people sell them at high costs. Thats why i said it is rare to have them here. BC is not common breed here in india. Labradors rarely get annoyed with people or our actions. So i always found them interesting and prefer them over any other dog. Boxer is kinda scary but they are also loyal and like other dogs you can count on them. shepherd is cool too and they are likely to be sold more here than any other breed.

Exactly. Earlier i was earning what you were earning previously that is 0.15 cents. And now even if post 8-10 post i get 1$. Unless i cross 16 posts threshold i can't get 2$ mycents. I can understand that despite of my posting on help threads i'm getting these low mycents. Not complaining for any reduction perhaps i'm no good for this forum. So i'm sticking my aim of only earning mycents from this site rather than talking about what is broken here or logo or board design. I'm going to spread myself within the region of mycent earning. So i'm discussing about earning mycents and how can we earn more by creating more topics. thanks to you atleast one topic is there. Yeah i know what you mean.
