Video content has few issues at least on internet advertising. 1. Bandwidth - if you're hosting videos on shared server it'll go down in few hours. So there should be lot of bandwidth on cosumers side and on hosts side. 2. Annoyance - people are already annoyed with ads on tv, shopping mall, cinema halls. Adding video ads to site will surely annoy more visitors.3. Irrelevant ads issue like text ads will also rise soon. But it'll be low in comparison to text ads because there is more investment in video ads than in text.

No worries azuremusic. As forums here are mostly dead and there are no new topics. All members including new and old are looking for old topics to bump and reply to so don't worry about such rule violations. Atleast admin didn't stopped us from doing that so it's fine. Forums are getting heated plenty of times but the point is if you're here to spend time chatting or posting then surely go ahead and have some debate/argument. But if you're here to earn mycents and to keep account active with mycents or renew hosting etc, then just post the topics/replies and don't get into arguments no matter how many baits you get. Why i'm saying this is that earlier there was plenty of mycents which used to compensate for our wasted time on forums. But now as there is very low mycents you're going to earn from arguments/debates i don't think its worthy to waste time in debate or argument no matter how small, or big they are. Nobody here will take any objection on how much you post or etc. Keep posting and have fun on KS.

Exactly. What annoying is that - it shows content before you stop typing. I mean some keywords are mixed up and they try to analyze by comparing it with previous queries. In many cases those unrelated queries makes it annoying. Because unrelated queries bring unrelated search results. I hope they keep opt-out option for some more time and don't assume that all people have broadband or faster connection to tolerate this. Weird but they implemented turn-off feature which is rare from google because they don't enabled such feature without any public response.

You'll miss the silence of this forum and the dead slow speed of mycents . LOL. keeping the same old routine aside i can tell you that being busy is much better than expecting admins to come here and fix that. I don't expect admin of this forum coming any time before february or march. Just my personal calculation on how things going here. You'll not miss much here that i can guarantee you . Not sure if you're using any PHP framework for your work. But i came across one such tutorial which was showing how to work with mercury server using that framework. That framework was 'codeigniter and mercury interfacing was done on XAMPP itself. Nicely put. I'm not sure others will agree with open office remark because for them it is doing the job of replacement of word. Google docs and microsoft office online are working to some extent but those who are using offline word processor will have some issue with it. In that case, open office, word and pages is good choice. There is also libre office which is likely to replace open office soon because of contributors shifting issue but in any case open office is fine for few years.

Never copy content from sources which adds it's own markup. For example if you're copying content from openoffice or word to your static HTML site in body tag. Then make sure you strip out it's editor coding. This code will make more changes to the content.So if you are trying to add neat code to your content then you already ruined it by having extra code from other editors.

I don't know how many paid members are coming here to reply for this. But if i'm not wrong then hosting which OP discussed was free hosting. I think it's fair analysis at that time. They might have improved after that for some servers and kept same for others. So don't know why this is going like train wreck, atleast they are not reputed free hosting network that we can compare.

Donating is good idea. But only thing i would like to see is that the donated computers goes to right sources. Many times these people resale or dis-assemble the parts of that computers so in such case it gives me a doubt. So unless you have idea about the source where you are donating the hardware better hold. You can donate to organizations which are into free software, charity or teaching institute who use that. In such cases don't forget to check if they are genuine.

Much worst is going to be there on OSX Lion. I don't know what kinda feature they are going to use in apple from ipad. I guess if they use lockdown feature or too much commercial bazaar style features then it'll affect their business. It's better not to piss your customers or they'll ditch you. Unlike microsoft apple is working hard on pissing customers off with their lockdown thinking.

If i remember correctly there were few graphical yet little bit static MMORPG games on topics like pirates, space and village.I joined one of such game and then horribly got bored because of it. Then i got chance to play ragnarok and similar such games of which i can't even managed to understand the name. i guess some korean or japanese MMORPG games those were.

Even after it coming out of beta this lag will remain for some obvious reasons. This browser will attatch itself to system files and the lag for tabs and some times for text fields while browsing, searching or filling the form will remain. So it's not the issue with beta but about internet explorer being a closed component of the operating system. Firefox, chrome, opera are instant for tabs, text field form filling and scrolling while page is loading but that is not the case with IE, take any version.

There is one famous TCP/IP optmizer from speedguide site. I don't know how much it is useful now in the time of broadband and 3G. But i can say that this tool has some satisfactory result for some people. I was checking your host on who is hosting this and found that you're hosted by -phil web services. I guess you are on good servers that is why you're getting some good response time and uptime on these servers. By the way why not use 'gmail chat plugin for wordpress' ? or maybe the oggchat ? In my opinion, wiblya and meebo chat toolbars are annoying so you should use these small snippet based chat plugins. These plugins are less annoying and can do the work that you want to get done by wiblya and meebo toolbar's chat functionality.

Chrome with lot of extensions perform similar to FF. Only without any add-on or extensions it performs faster and well. Otherwise you do get those frequent crashes from chrome. Not that like IE never crashes and you can see IE crashing more than anyother browser. I found FF just unstable when using for longer hours while playing media and other heavy files in browser. Which is not the case with other browsers.

So true. My question is what will be future of mycents ? will there be any chance it is going down for good ? for example, last week it was down for 2 -3 days. Now don't give any explanation like too much updates or traffic or post count makes it take some time. There is very rare activity here these days. Mycents goes down discarding our posts just like that. We end up spending a lot of time on this forum than our own site. This results in less time for our site's benefit and more to KS. It feels good or positive to see things going great but they are not in reality. :/

I have noticed this with cats and i'm sure this applies to dogs as well. That eating some random bugs or crickets in garden can disturb their digestion system. In such case they do puke. So that's just my guess on this OP. I hope that OP resolved this issue as i don't see any update anywhere in this reply.

I agree. But i guess he made that thread in hurry and solved this problem over chat so that's why he didn't updated thread. There was good chatroom in past and now it is completely graveyard with full of silence. I think he has seen this thread but don't want to update it anymore. Just a thought.

Making money online is easy ? that is news to me. It has to be those PTC or HYIP that made you say so. 1. Making money with adsense is time consuming and for 2-3 months you get no click at all if you don't have traffic and lot of content. You need to drive constant traffic to your sites. 2. Making money with article writing requires competition beating using less price, command over language and niche research. Which makes it not so easy way to make money.3. Making money from product reviews is tough as well. You need to review product in such way that people will buy the subscription. If you fail to write good copy then you're doomed with copywriting jobs and reviews. 4. Making designs to sell seems to be easy even if you're novice in design. It just takes a bit creativity. 5. Making money using support, tech service jobs seems to be easy.

Old members are getting less than 10 cents per reply irrespective of word count and the age of topic. We old members did a lot of supportive posting and for that atleast i'm getting less mycents than i think my post should get. So i give up. I have to look at my plate for food and question forum authority instead of pretending all is well. After reading these threads about mycent value in recent updates and how current forum is going on i doubt any newbie will waste time here. Atleast i think that old members are not supposed to be treated like this by giving less mycents as post count increases. Owner knows that we're not ripping him off anyway.

Google keyword tool, google wonder wheel and some other sites like spyfoo, keyword tracker etc. will let you know about profitable keywords or keywords with estimated traffic. You should check these tools if you are writing keeping keywords in mind. Keyword tool has estimated traffic numbers with some specific accuracy.

Not all surveys pay money via profile or invite. Some are only monetized by CPALead but not all. Facebook is cracking CPALead these days so i'm sure popup and data locking type of ads will have hard time from now on. Instead sales page ads with simple domain links will be there for long term and they'll still continue to make money for people.
