I think it is better to switch to HTML5 if you are going to program for the modern browsers. I think most of the new browsers are supporting HTML5. Your post definitely helps those who are new to HTML. But i think once they learn this then they need to move on to HTML 5 sooner or later. I have observed that there is lot of learning curve going on with new HTML 5 for the geo location and animation features. So overall this loooks like a good opportunity for those to improve their HTML skills. Soon animation using adobe edge and HTML5 will dominate on the web but it is always better to learn the technology when it comes. I mean most of us learned HTML4 and earlier. These days there are some improvement in HTML5 and it is worth learning that as well. Dive into HTML5 is one good online book to read if you want to get more out of HTML5. I mean you can learn a lot from even that simple book and later expand on your HTML skills. I think sticking with CMS often keeps us from using HTML. So it is always better to learn new HTML. W3schools site is not updated for the new HTML 5 features and lessons. But the site dive into HTML5 is showing some good tutorials and are worth to read. I suggest anyone who is interested in web development to read this as early as possible because it helps.

I don't know if the tower defense games falls into strategy games. But these days i'm addicted to it. I am playing more thna 40 hours per week with these type of games. But if you ask me before that i think "age of mythology" is the only game that i wanted to play over and over because of graphics. I think the graphics is simply attractive during that time. I have not seen such old game with good graphics. I know there xbox games or other wow games with some good graphics. But that aside i guess during times of age of mythology there wasn't much creative campaign based games over there. SO i prefer to play that over and over even these days. I also think that tower defense games are addictive being difficult and mostly teases your panic skills. Some of the tower defense games that i know so far are - desktop tower defense, garden panic, garden tower defense, plants vs zombies and many others.I think of these games as strategy or more of tower defense genre. i'm not into much categorization when it comes to games so spare me if it was wrong in any way.

I guess there is always alienware if your budget sets. They have AMD based and Intel based PCs or laptops. You get windows pre-installed by the way. Not sure you being linux user like that. I don't know if they have linux based PCs cause these laptops from them are for gaming purpose. So there is always chance of using the windows operating system for their installation which is default. Also these laptops and pcs are highly expensive as they are using expensive hardware inside. I don't know any suitable place to se4arch for the review of these laptops than "anandtech" or "toms hardware". These are the places where you can ask for the review and other help. You're likely to get that funds for sure. I tried asking on their forums, sometimes help is good on their forums.

Go to the store and ask them to login for you. Once you get the username and password from them it is better to change it to something else than default. Also ask them if there are any other softwares which have subscription and worth deletion after that particular period. You should do this in store itself. If you got the laptop or dekstop from the ebay or some online store then ask for the support. Also one more thing, check the box in which you got the package. It is big chance that all this login and other information is likely to be inside the dell package that you got from the folks. If not then it is time to hit the phone and ask for the support. If you purchased this officially from dell site then you can always call on these 1-800 numbers that you get. If not then either email or other forum psoting should work. I can understand that your system is not in your hands right now but it could be minor glitch or mistake on your or their part for not giving this information to you. So just try to hit the support and ask for the help. You'll get the help in matter of minutes and you'll be able to login. If the callcenter is native then ask them to get support from official place. It is better to get support from locals instead of offshore place as that will increase your answer resolution chances. Hope this helps for headstart. If none of the above works, just go to any local dell store and ask for support. Because if you have purchase reciept then chacnes are there that these guys will support you for free during this purchase period.

Backpager - Online Wysiwyg Editor
mahesh2k replied to mahesh2k's topic in Websites and Web Designing
There is another editor which is available for free. It has both online and offline download versions. You can download this editor on dekstop and do the changes. I don't know how it works on desktop as i have used it on my browser as of now. But soonwill test it on desktop as well. You can get this editor - called CKeditor. It is good text editor with all the modern features included in it. I guess this editor is built in inside forums like Vbulltein and Punbb. Not sure if other forums like electron forums etc are supporting it as of now. Most of the options which were included in backpages are also into this IDE. So there is no loss of features. You can also test it live in your text editor or by pressing the view button. It lets you choose interface color for the IDE. It also has custom toolbar for some of the tasks. Multi-language interface is also supported. You can also see if there are any skins available for the IDE. I'm sure desktop version of this IDE is going to be interesting. I am going to try it soon, so this one is just for you if you like such IDE's. -
Docstoc and similar site are there for the earning from such materials. Docstoc is not into uploading video content but other formats like pdf, .doc and other materials which you can use to share content. You can also use audio on that site. They have some revenue sharing model with google adsense if i can recall. There are some other sites who function similar to doctoc and has such earning potential. If you can't use youtube to download videos then it is hard for you to earn from resources which are paying for the video upload. Also the educational material that you're willing to share with others is most likely copyrighted. Sooner or later you'll find that copyright notifications take these files down from the server. So you have to be careful with that as well. Other than that check the rate of file download vs upload rates and how to fetch respective traffic. Because US based traffic has more rates than any other country. You have to get users from these countries in order to make money. I cant discuss about black hat type of sites here as this will not go in rules with this site. You can always PM me if you want to know about such sites. You can also use one mroe technique. Just create one blog and start posting links to that material from sites like mediafire, filesonic etc. So you can get commision for per download. Rate is not much here but it;s something like 1$ for 500 downloads NON US and for US based downloads you get 5$ but these downloads need to be 1000 or more for that amount. So it is pretty much difficult. PS- It is video and not vedio. Spell mistake from your side.
-
Adsense and some other ad networks have no objection for using videos or pictures in the post. Just give credit where it is due. So you're uploading videos to some network to earn money ? i don't think it is profitable in the long run considering the amount they pay for the videos. You can always use youtube videos which are getting more hits. Consider getting some bot or something to track that data and then make list of such videos. There is no push button for making money from video uploading and viewing and in fact it is the most slowest process of all. I have seen it makes you 10$ after usage of 10k or more traffic which is slow rate. But you can try it anyway if you wish to. I don't think there is much information in this forum. Maybe you should consider black hatters for such information. I'm sure they'll help you on earning from this with shortcuts if there are any.

I Want To Know About Php Editors I want to know about php editors
mahesh2k replied to xhrist14n's topic in Programming
PHP Designer is one good IDE which i'm using right now. It also supports other languages like python, asp etc etc. It is paid software and if you have the money then try to find coupon code and get it in discount. In my opinion it is worth the trouble. Most of the users who are using this IDE are getting some decent results with it. I have done most of the simple stuff with this IDE for now. I'm planning to play with python frameworks too so most likely will able to see some capability of this IDE for the online browser testing support and other db support. I'm sure there are others who are into php and using this IDE in this forum. So they can also comment about that IDE. This is the only lightweight IDE that has enough features like eclipse for working with php for production based sites. You can consider this IDE if you want to get into php programming or want to save yourself from text editor dependence and want to do things quickly. JEdit seems to have their port of php IDE but i have no experience with that IDE and not much used at all. I used that IDE for java programming and has not touched it for quite some time. SO not sure if they have some good features for php programming. I prefer not to use eclipse for php programming because it is too heavy resource hungry application and compared to jedit and php designer there is a lot of learning curve with it. So better to stick with php designer if you're serious with php development. -
True. I have seen that most of the authors are only putting their name on books and rarely writing any text at all on the book. Most likely some freelance author is writing the book for them and these guys are getting their name on it. I have this worst experience from sitepoint, o'reilly, manning and few other publishers. Manning books is similar to sitepoint - they spend a lot of time in theory which you can easily found these days in docs and tutorials. More over you can also find some code examples in tutorial site these days. I don't know why anyone will buy manning books for reading theory. I guess those who are self starters need it for reference ? if so then what's wrong with asking for code ? i mean we learn by watching the code right ? But i guess they're in no way changing things around. I was thinking about posting this on stackoverflow. But considering that forum is populated with book authors. I guess i may get some bad replies or replies which mocks the original intention of thread. I have seen that on stackoverflow plenty of times with some thread starters who have concerns about this. Not sure if this will be taken in good heart. But let's see about that anyway. I may post this issue and see if o'reilly and sitepoint takes notice of this in that forum. Not sure but just hoping people get the garbage in the computer publishing industry.
-
If you're into web development then surely you heard the books from sitepoint company. Same company which started flippa and 99 designs. I'm sure you know them by their books and famous forum and blogs. I have one issue about them. Not complain exactly but sort of issue that is bugging me these days. I have read 2-3 books from them so far and it is really hard to judge their books if you're looking for the web development related stuff. Most of the time people suggest their stuff so it is better if you read reviews about the books. Why ? because most of the books are hardly worth the cost. I have seen 90% of the books from them being word salad and short on content. Take example of - Build your own wicked wordpress themes. If you are interested in wordpress theme development then you'll find such books handy for reference for quick wordpress theme development. I have need of these books. So i ordered this book in printed form and got it for 49.90$ which is big amount. I don't know but i feeel little cheated here. It took 27 days to get that book to me. I can understand that considering i'm non-us user and have to wait and pay such fees and time is also another factor. What was inside the book ? First chapter - what is wordpress and where it is used and blah blah. i mean really ? you need that information on first chapter ? why people are buying that book if they have no clue about wordpress? Chapter two - it is about planning your theme. 100% word salad, zero code, zero pointers towards wordpress theme development and just revolves around random BS of wordpress. Chapter three - this chapter shows some designs from other themes and blogs and blah talks about typography and stuff. It has no use for you at all in terms of wordpress because it lacks code and has no sense of direction for building wordpress theme. Chapter four - this chapter is basically overview of wordpress themes in the market. Nothing new and is usually found in most of the wordpress blogs. Advanced theme construction- still with me ? okay this is the only chapter that tells you about what files that goes into wordpress themes and which you can use for bare minimum theme layout. It explains thematic framework as it is free and is officially supported. Widgets - this chapter explains widgets and how to embed them into your theme. Nothing new and can be found online in documentation. Theme options - this chapter is about adding theme options with no live example, so stuff is rather hypothetical with codex explained as if there is some theme built alredy. selling your theme - i don't know how come some person who failed to understand architecture of theme, have managed to build theme with help of this book that he dared to sell it. anyway, consider yourself warned for such word salad. I can't imagine how many garbage books like that they have written so far. If you're going to buy printed or ebook of sitepoint then make sure that you think thrice or maybe n+1 times before buying their stuff. Not all stuff from them is bad but considering the amount of garbage people read these days in programming language books, this is yet another garbage book. so try to stick with code based or example+theory approach books instead of wasting time on sitepoint books. For the rest, risk buying their stuff on your own. If you're from non-us area then you'll also lose 30-day money back guarantee so it's upto you to buy book from them.

I was looking for stackoverflow style WYSIWYG editor. I found such with backpager. Not yet tested on IE or chrome. But using it on firefox 5 as of now. It looks like has similar editing features to that of stack over flow's editor. You can see the preview immediately using this editor which is good and makes it similar to MCE editors. I think the layout is also good and shows preview in right hand side and left hand side seems to be with code. So those who are looking for such online editors should check out this page. You can use this page for wiki and similar other page editor requirement. You can use it and preview it before copying to wiki or stackoverflow or other services. It is also good for online technical documentation which has similar markup. it'll work for most of your needs and i suggest you to check out for yourself. There are some bugs with it as of now which are surely going to be fixed soon as per developer note. But i think it';s pretty much working for most of the time. Minor list related issues were there which i guess developer fixed few weeks back. So if you want to try this online markup editor then check this site. If you know any other similar markup editor then please feel free to post about it here i would like to know about it as i do some markup for docs online.

I remember old Qbasic kits where you can program using qbasic and the simple hardware kit. You use to program the kit in qbasic and run it to flash ROM. Then that kit used to function as per your programming. Be it flashing some LED or some calculation or tricks based on your programming input. We dont live in that world anymore and the hardware and software is much more sophisticated than before. You get plenty of options to deal with hardware using modern software (programming language). Finch is one piece of hardware which is programmable using java and python. As these two languages have less barrier to learning makes it easy to program the finch robot. If you want to learn programming bots then finch is one good place to learn. It is an interesting project with lots of good options for anyone to learn programming. You can program Bot using USB port interfacing and it can be recharged via same ports. You don't need batteries for that. But how efficient is this USB powered energy system is still one case not yet handled. It is not only good for kids for learning programming but also for adults too. You'll find that it looks similar to those zoo zoo pets design but it quite looks like whale fish from top view. It is nice project to look at so take a look it. It'll definitely interest those who have interest in hardware programming or bot programming. It'll also interest kids and adults to computer programming.

I used to think that gamer girls are nerdy and hardly look good at all. But jessica chobot made me think on this assumption. I guess she is few of the smart and beautiful gamer girls out there. She is not only into gaming but also into anime review. She is presenting shows for IGN and is review editor in many such networks including IGN. I also found her entry on wikipedia itself. You can check it out here. Here is the picture of her. Looks good eh ? Not sure what this editor thinks about your article. But i'm sure she is addicted to her gaming and anime. Because that is how she made her career at first place. So it is natural for her to respond in favor of gaming. There are very few gals into gaming but it's hard to see tv celeb who knows her stuff. As for MMOsite, i can't talk on these numbers because often they're madeup and not credible. If it's based on web based voting then we can't take it for granted.

I'm in desperate search of font hosting these days and that's why i found one more service for font hosting. This font hosting service called kernest seems to be for serious designers and corporate users. I think their plans starting from 5$ onwards and are cheap/affordable if you're picking fonts and plan in bulk. Like typekit they have huge selection of both open source, free and commercial fonts. I have seen some of the open type and true type fonts in their repository and surely this collection is likely to be growing every month. I don't know how many good open source or public domain fonts are there in this kernest repository. So you have to check that on your own. Most of the commerical fonts are priced at 9$, 5$ and 15$. I think these prices are affordable to most of us and i think many designers will surely pay for it if the commercial font hosting is cheap on kernest. I mean this whole kernest looks more cheap than typekit to me. So if we compare the plans of the licensing of the fonts then i guess typekit seems to be more expensive in licensing and hosting. I think those who are on limited budget for their own site or for client then kernest is one good solution for them. Another thing they're working on is konstellation. They deliver commercial and free fonts to subscribers. The price is 120$ per year and the lifetime subscription costs 350$. SO those who deal with fonts are getting a good chance for the font recommendation. I think this is one good service as an alternative to typekit. Oberall i like their service of font hosting.
-
Another service which is similar to typekit is typefront. They also serve the font for the web publishers, corporate business and design firms. Only change here is that you can choose your own font if you wish to and upload it to their servers and use it on your own domain only. This way you can limit your licensing on your domain and avoid the public usage of the fonts. It is possible to do that in this method. There are few easy steps to use this service. First thing is obviously you have to sign up to their service. Then you need to add the respective font. Once you do that then it is time to add the domain names on which you wish to serve these fonts. I have seen this already in some of the sites which use this service and limited the fonts using cufon or typefront distribution. Once you add the domain the dashboard, all you have to do is use the query to call them to your site theme or html pages. Then immediately the font service goes live. No other domain than the listed one can use this service. So in comparison to typekit this service is bit different in it's approach. They don't offer you any free font selection on their servers. You have to choose your own fonts. So that is one disadvantage. So far there seems to be no limit on pageview which is good again. Unless your pageviews and the queries get beyond the usage capability for the CDN or other hosting. There is no way they're going to limit the service. So like google web fonts this service is also one good alternative of typekit fonts. But for more fonts it is better to go for the typekits in my opinion.
-
Yes. You got it right you have to add the query in your theme or static HTML page to the font server. That way the fonts will be fetched and cached by browser. So that seems to be the only thing we need to do. Cufons are cool to and in fact they're good because they don't allow highlighting feature. I have noticed that it's also hard to find cufons font and you have to go to query website and then to font server to see the original font site. In my opinion that is very difficult thing to do so i guess typekit and google web fonts are two cool options. I still search for alternative in order to avoid dependance on single service. So obviously i searched for the alternative. Another alternative to this whole typekit vs google font is 'Typotheque. I have seen that this service is capable of serving small and big business sites. I guess they're charging per license. I have seen that it's not much popular and there is lot to be said about this service. I mean it alternative to both typekit and google web fonts. If its offering good solution then it's worth checking out. You can check their sites here. It's not cheap but it's not meant to be for individual users but more for corporate users.
-
Now that we're on topic of web fonts. Here is my opinion of google web fonts. These web fonts are available free of charge and with google and similar services they're going to work much better. I'm pointing to new service which makes google chrome and overall browser experience fast. It's like opera turbo which also caches these fonts and makes it easy to view them without having to use other fonts in the font family. Google web fonts are available in multiple types - professional, writers, fancy, funny etc. You can also check these fonts and sort them as per alphabetical order or downloaded times or popular fonts etc. Some of the popular fonts in google fonts are - droid sans, droid serid, open sans, nobile etc etc. Most of the google fonts are used in free themes from studiopress.I have two themes from studiopress where they have used these fonts for content and header. They load quickly and looks good on page. It's just that performance wise extra HTTP calls are increased because CSS file makes these calls (per font 2 calls or less). Typekit or Google Web Fonts ? Typekit has more number of fonts in their library so in comparison to google there are more choices for you. Also the fonts are rare to find and usually not even available for download. I guess some are submitted by professionals based on royalty sharing. So that could be one reason they're made available only to typekit respository. As for google web fonts, more freelance designers or commercial apps use these fonts. These fonts are good but there are very few choices for professional designs. So in comparison to typekit you have limitation of fonts. Typekit has pageviews based restriction on accessing fonts. There is no such restriction for google web fonts. Typekit has free plan with lot of limits but google web fonts has no such limits. So it is upto you to choose the right service for yourself based on your graphic design needs.
-
I found typekit while working on one clients theme. I noticed one query made to the typekit server for the font. Then i checked this site and found that it is serving fonts for the users. It also caches the font for the nearest CDN and the show it to users from there. I think this is one good idea to save on speed loading. By making queries to nearest CDN the speed remains high and you get fonts without any issues. In case of low speed, alternate font from the font family is used. This looks good service to me but they have limited plan for free users. In case of free users they can get this service with only two fonts, 25k page views and only for single website. Of course you can sign up using alternate emails and make more accounts but still there seems to be limitation. Another thing is that you can have access to this service from wordpress.com. I think the plans for it are also paid and the service is available seperately in wrodpress.com market. For self-hosted websites, you'll see that there is option for plugin for registred members. It is possible to use the service from wordpress dashboard. Who is using it ? Studiopress is using this typekit font in some of their paid themes for clients. Many other indie developers are also using this in their designs. I have found that some of these fonts are cool for simple themes or for profesional themes (not yet tried on dark themes). There is also alternative from google web fonts where you can use the fonts for free and make queries as much as your want. As google datacenters are in lareg numbers you can use them in any way and any times you want. If you can't afford typekit service then that is the only optio available for developers as of now.

Best Operating System Till Date
mahesh2k replied to ashish.bhatnagar's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Heard of device drivers and application support ? some apps are still using win32 forms and have some issues on 64 bit machines. Same goes with device drivers. Operating systems are compared with respect to the changes that are going on in hardware industry, how they reflect to these changes etc. For example, Quad cores can't run old Win operating systems etc. If the hardware that you're using is not supported on 64 bit OS then it is pretty much useless for you. There are folks who have old hardware and it performs poor with these limitations. So best operating system has to go along with hardware changes. Afterall touch screen based computer don't use win 3.1. It is just your opinion that X-Bit OS has nothing to do with hardware changes but in reality that is not the case. -
5 Reasons To Stay Away From Google+
mahesh2k replied to mahesh2k's topic in Websites and Web Designing
1) You have not yet seen the google plus and still commenting on it ? that's funny, do you have account ? because youre talking about google account profiles. I have already used this service and the profiles inside google plus are different than google account profiles. When you open google plus profile like facebook, all the information is open to view for public and anyone can view it simply by searching. PS- I know what i'm talking about. 2) I do have pseudoname on facebook and i don't have weird characters in it. But there is possibility of using pseudonames so you're wrong again. Google already did pseudoname deletion on orkut when they started that network and they're doing the same here. it has nothing to do with company profiles at all. Learn to read the link that i have posted earlier. 3) Are you kidding me ? I have private profile on facebook which is not available to view at all on google search. I can easily hide all the information to friends only. So you have no idea about privacy of facebook. Pretty much BS. I have pseudonames on internet forums and it has nothing to do with my identity. If pseudonames are erased there is nothing to do for my identity. I can create another pseudoname on internet and also hide myself. Learn to understand what is privacy first and how psydonames can help. 4) Have you ever done any niche marketing or are you engaged into affiliate marketing ? by pointing these blogs under your profile name, your competitor friends in list can see that. So niche stealing and competitor issues in aff network applies. Like this there are many other issues with non-anonymous profiles. And yes, it was possible to hide identity before this crackdown. Do you even understand these things ?or just posting for the sake of mycents. 5) No you're kidding me with your BS. Orkut is hacked every 3 or so month by hackers, using fake identity theft problems, groups etc and though it is failed project, still it is part of google. It shows how google has more security issues than facebook and any other social network. Do you even know how many people use orkut or which userbase they target ? no wonder you blabber without knowing all this. Another load of BS attack. Find all the places from where i copied this from and then accuse me for it. I have these things noted on my own. So before accusing me with load of BS and for the sake of mycents find the copied rumors in my first post and then blabber. yes, but we have choice not to use and opt out of it. Thanks for BS attacks all over these 5 points. I hope you learn to investigate more before accusing others and making assumption about things. Note to yordan, in case if you're thinking my refutation to this poster is wrong then you can see where i have given facts throughout and how this guy is posting BS. So let's just get to the facts before you can warn me for that. -
I just noticed that shipit is closed for international users. It is right now only available to local communities which are approved by canonical. I don't know if this move is good or bad. But it was a treat for those who don't have fast internet connection. I'm one of those people who can't wait for more than 8-10 hours for simple download of the OS. And now that OS CDS are discontinued i don't have any other ways to get the distribution for my computer. I don't think i'll be able to upgrade the system after 10.10. I need to get the machine to nearest hotspot or some fast internet cafe in order to work out things. If you check the official site of ubuntu download there is no way for ordering CDS by any means. I think this is going to cause issue for all those who were struggling with the ubuntu and wanted to get the connection. I know that there are some linux users here in Xisto. Most of them are likely to be on fast internet connection, so not much of problem for them. But those who are using slow internet connection are going to have loss with this change. I know this notice was old but i think i didn't made thread on that topic before and that is why i made this thread. Share here your views and let us know if you're one of those who affected with this change from canonical. How you're going to upgrade your system now ? How internet system works on your side in order to get some upgrade ?Share your views.

Okay. You can skip it if you have no respect to anyones privacy(including your own) and have nothing to hide from world. Or want anyone to take control or look at your profile, data or other information. For the rest read on if you are waiting for google+ profiles. 1. No Private Profiles - Facebook offers privacy by masking your profile for unwanted users or people. That way your images and data is only accessed by friends or family in the friend list. Google+ has no such feature and in fact they're deleting private profile feature. So your family pictures are open to view in google search and are easy to manipulate to rapist, child abusers and other criminals. It is even open for identity thieves. 2. No Pseudonames - If you're using facebook to avoid office members or school members or family then such possibility is not offered in google+. They're going to delete pseudonames profile as abuse to system. SO they need your real name to monitor you. 3. Search visibility - All the google profiles are likely to be available for search in google search engine in people or find people featuer or find profile feature from oct. 2011 onwards or eeven earlier. 4. Blogger Integration - If you're keeping your blogger blogs away from your family or friends or relatives or online friends then this will no longer be possible. Most of the anonymous affilaite marketers, anonymous writers, poets and other type of anonymous blogger will be affected. Blogger and picasa are going to be part of Google+ profiles and so it is possible for others to access them from your profile connection in bio field. 5. Security - Biggest issue with Google+ is security. There are already security issues with Orkut and other google services. Script kiddies and identity theft and profile hacking is common with Orkut and some folks on orkut security groups are claiming that hacking google+ is not going to be difficult because of poor app connections and loopholes. Not sure about others but i guess these are enough reasons to keep myself away from google+. You can decide for yourself and for your identity and data.

CPX has multiple meanings. CPX also stands for multiple Cp offers like cpm, cpc and cpi etc. Another thing is that CPX is also network for the CPM and ad media solutions. They're limiting their offers to only top players in the market. Some companies are using it as of now but there seems to be negative opinion about them. For example, CPX interactive only accept publisher with pageviews size of about 1 million per day. They also accept for the rate of 60:40 cut. So you're ending up with less revenue. SOme of their offers are doing very poor on the website. I mean 2$CPM is very poor for 1million traffic site. If you have that much traffic and want to use it on your site then go ahead and make application. I found tribal fusion much better over CPX interactive media. But it's all upto you because if your site has better earning from them then who knows that could be a good deal.

Chromium was started to correct the issues of plugins and rendering in firefox. I guess they picked webkit for the same reason. I don't know how much change are there from the original chromium browser but google added their own services to chromium. So that makes it more complex browser now still very small footprint compared to firefox or internet explorer. I hate internet explorer and can't stand with it. First thing i do for any clean windows install is to replace internet explorer with either firefox, chrome or opera whichever downloads first or gets to disk. Internet explorer is too buggy for me and i have lots of issues with it while browsing the sites. There is also no ad blocker on internet explorer as far as i know. I may be missing it if there are any available for public download. Also internet exploere if kept default browser eats a lot of resources. I prefer not to use it even though it is simple browser with less complexity. Chrome on the other hand is much better than IE and in some cases firefox. It doesn't eat too much CPU. But i noticed 2-3 services of chrome while running incognito mode. So not sure how much chrome is using memory in comparison to firefox. So default usage seems to be less heavy than standard firefox browser. Add-ons are also good and less resource hungry but are less in variety and major add-ons are missing which you can easily find on firefox. Turbo feature of the opera got me attracted towards it. I found that for slow connection this feature saves a lot of bandwidth and if you read too much on web then opera can save a lot of bandwidth. I think for that i'm going to give credit as there is no parallel sevrice like this in google chrome or firefox.
