Well first off its got to be my personalized google homepage (https://www.google.com/ ig), in case you dont know what that is (its pretty obvoious to be honest) its like MyMSN but better). but that just because it's my homepage, so following that i'll usually branch off from the RSS feeds on there, to places like slashdot, wired and occasionally bbc news. Then its to Xisto, and I'll most likely go to mozilla.org and mozillazine (to check on the Firefox 1.5 Beta progress, its out on Thursday 8th september, incase you dont know). and pretty much every day I go to quinnware.com, to check for a new Quintessential Media Player development build. and back to Xisto. (thats pretty much all I do all day by the way, )

Well I really don't believe I am about to post this, it isn't exactly what I excpected to see, but you asked so I will tell you. I have one set of stairs, it goes from the bottom floor to the second floor (No pointless connector type things that randomly have 3 or steps at the top , but there cool too)

woops I bet someone got fired for that, I mean you have to go some to release HDD (for the purposes of this anyway) with a virus pre-loaded on to it, ok so maybe it's not a hugh threat as most (good) anti-virus software will catch it, thats if you even get it on your computer. But i suppose acidents happen, ok they don't usually happen like this. but anyway thats at least they came clean about it fairly early in order to limit the damage, to the consumers anyway, their going to have to do something really special to make up for that.

Personally I dont see the point I mean all your doing there is making Internet Explorer look a little bit better and give it tabs, which (I think) you can do with an MSN toolbar or something like that. The core problem is still there and that is simply that IE has the weakest implementation of the W3C web standards, it has a string of serious security flaws, which are hightened in severity when you consider that most people use it, I mean one single exploitaton of these security holes could theoretically cripple 80% of all windows based PC's thats another of IE's big problems, its nigh on impossible to remove and wound so tightly with the Windows OS its prectically begging hack me, hack me. Seriously though if your going to get a 'skin' for IE to make it look like Firefox why not at least try Firefox out first. I mean what is their to lose. You never know you might even like it. (Sorry thats abit ranty, its been a long day and I'm tired)

While I do think that the 'incompliance' of web standards by Internet Explorer is a problem (the worst of which is its luaghable support for CSS 2.0), It is very easily overcome, I mean as previously said there are hacks for IE all over the internet, and while this does make the job of a web designer harder I do not think that it will get the same amount of coverage, I mean lets face it most people don't even care about web standards, or even know they exist. But it would be nice if they could make it better, but knowing Microsoft they will focus mostly on the obvious 'cool' features, which are standard in just about all other browsers, for example tabbed browsing (which in my opinion isn't implemented very well in IE7 Beta, which could change I know). Aswell as this they will (or at least say they have) improve security. At the end of the day Microsoft will go after the largest market (Home users, who know very little about web standards). And most importantly of all if you don't like IE dont use IE, use a browser that gets updated every now and then (sorry i couln't go through this whole post and not 'take a swipe' at Microsoft ).

I'm all for wednesdays, I only have one lesson and that doesn't start untill 1:40pm, and lasts till 3:10pm, and I still get home an hour earlier than I useually do because my college closes and hour early on wednesdays.

Let me get something straight here, are you being serious or not. I mean I first read it and I thought it was a joke, but now you say you heard it in School, if that is true I really hope your not doing the same examss the rest of the world do as you will surely fail. Ok so I admit to not being a genius myself, but Bill Gates inventing the computer, really how stupid is that, I mean even if he had of invented the computer he would have most likely bought all the other computer companies and used their technology.Anyway I still think your not entirly being serious here.

I though that was just , oh well the RSS feeds are a nice touch, except now I find Google are slowly taking over my computer what with Google Desktop, and Google Talk just installed and this being my new homepage, where will it end? (I'm screwed if they bring out an OS , well at least nothing will get me away from Deer Park Alpha 2, apart from Firefox 1.5 ) any way I find this to be a very easy way to keep up with news, and I hope it continues to develop and it should eventually pwn all over Yahoo and MSN (although you cant really count them )

Well I finally got to test the first Beta release of Google Talk a few days ago, and I must ses look very promising. the only thing I would say would improve it is conference calling, and if it would let all of my friends connect, I had to use Skype to get a good call going on, but considering its current functionality, and the massive improvement between Google Desktop Beta 1 and Google Desktop Beta 2, I for one certainly cant wait for the next release of what I genuinly believe will one day be the best IM money can buy (or download for free ).

I'm normally all 'everyones entitled to their oppinions' and all, but I really cannot let this go, sorry if I offend anyone but.... The Crazy Frog is the single worst thing I've ever heard. I mean its ok if your 12, but really it makes my cry inside. I absolutly hate the crazy frog, and I'm sorry to say this but I hate anyone who likes it. and I know I'm probably gonna get flamed for this. but seriously it sounds like someone having a fit on keyboard or something. KILL THE FROG!!!!!!

I signed the petition, but I fear it may not make much of a difference, but anyway thats not the point, the point is that this is clearly a breach of human rights and privacy, and no matter who it is proposing this it is still not the answer, I personally don't think it would even help to catch anyone doing anything, I mean 450 million people is a hell of a lot of people. But apart from that it is just not right so I signed the patition against it, and I hope it goes welland they see that they cant monitor (spy) on people. But hey at least they told us first.

I must say it is a very big improvement over the original, obviously that is down to the sidebar, what with it being pretty much the only new feature. But what a feature it is. I mean lets face it it could potentially do anything. I'm not to sure why they have suddenly decided to change it so drastically, but my best guess is that its to counter yahoo!'s purchase of Konfabulator, as I really don't think Microsoft have a product like this. But anyway back to the topic at hand I would greatly recommend this product to everyone, as it has all the cool features (well ok feature) of the first release (the Desktop searching btw) aswell as a news and email organiser type thing, that lets you also check out the weather. If that doesn't make any sense just download it and see for yourself.

I wouldn't know I downloaded it, got my friends to download it and the only one of the firends I added to accept the invitation (currently) doesn't use it, another of them downloaded it but cant connect as it says 'error authenticating by server' or something like that, but the login and contacts pages look ok, kind of minimal and clean unlike the ones found in MSN. I wonder how long this will stay in Beta for?

Well theres so much to choose from, but I would have to say my personal top hate is fancy java stuff, although I must admit I used to love it when I first started out but hey I was about 12 and lets face it who hasn't over used javascript at on time. But whats up with crazy snowflakes and the likes I mean its just a waste of html code. I also really hate all animated gifs, and I don't care if they are really good, theres a time and a place for them and lets face it a professional looking website aint one of them. if you want cheering up or just like to laugh, check this out: Rubbish early web site of mine its one of my very first websites (GeoCities, I know what was I thinking) oh and feel free to laugh openly and call me names, I know its making the internet cry. Basically if I (for some unknown reason, probably becuase I was 12/13 and lets face it not very good, but I supose you know that because its GeoCities) put it on here then I hate it now and will gladly shoot myself if I ever include it in any future site I might design.

To be honest is it not just easier to buy domain name, I mean its not like there that expensive, also this is just my personal oppinion but I actually like my .trap17.com sub-domain, it makes me feel all warm and cozy inside (ok so thats a bit over the top), but really aslong as people can get to you'r website, does it really matter if the url is a little longer. While I won't be using the service myself I am not youing to try and stop any one or make fun of theme I just personally do not see the point. But I will widj#h you luck in getting your free domain name, and hope it all goes well for you if you do so choose to use this service. (p.s sorry if I mistyped anything I'm at a friend house and so am not using my own keyboard)

Thats too bad man, I personally think that there is no reason to vandalis anything... ever. and I am of the oppinion that people vandalise others property for one of the following reasons... 1. lack of respect/disipline, 2. well their just idiots and 3.their jealous, I know where I live its most likely that their idiots, most of the time there is no reason they just do it and don't think about the consequences. It was most likely just kids 'playing' and just not thinking. I know our old car had an adult sized footprint in the size, that I don't quite understand but I would guess alcohol was involved somewhere down the line.

Unfortunately I am going to have to choose M$ Windows XP by default, as its the only Operating System I have used (and I feel it would be inapropriate to choose another with out first using it), and while it does have a lot of flaws, it does (currently at the moment have the largest software support). I would like to try linux, but at the moment am using a family computer and my parents would probably die or explode or something if I dual installed them and they had to actually choose an Operating System, but when I get my own computer its linux all the way.

I would have to take my MP3 player, hey if I'm gonna die on some desert island I might as well do it listening to the music I love, eh. Anyway Am I allowed to take speakers for it aswell, or would they count as another object?

Google is by far the best search engine, it has the most accurate results, and as far as I know has the shortest search time. I also think that its non search features, eg Gmail and Google Maps are the best out of all the search companies.

Its about time anyway I mean its been out for like 10 years, and if production has not yet beed cancelled I have a very strong feeling that when the ps3 comes out it will, I havent even played a ps1 game in about 4 years, and what with the 'new' slimeline ps2 it dosen't make much sence for sony to continue to make ps1's.

I absolutely hate this show, I mean it is sooooo boring, especially the live coverage that goes on from about 12:45 to like 4 am when all they do is sleep, or maybe I just don't like that becuase i can't sleep, anyway apart from the show being inherantly boring, it doesn't help when the producers insist on filling the house with the most unitelligent, abnoxious and generally annoying people they can find, its a waste of valuable air time, it may be the worst show ever, oh no wait, im forgetting Celebrity Big Brother, at least that only runs for about two weeks and not 74 days (i think the last one ran for) anyway it just generally annoys me and I really don't like it and hope it is finally dead. thats my opinion anyway.oh and vusay, no you are not a moody old man I'm 17 and I agree totally with every thing you've said regarding 'reality' tv shows, I not know about reality I mean I haven't got a person with a really strong geordie (person from Newcastle (North East England), in case you don't know) who commantates on everything I do, I have no 'diary room', there ain't a single camera recording me (I hope), and I haven't ever had to do a weekly tast to get my shopping, and I've never been evicted. But apart from that its exactly like reality.

Well I am with you Kasm, on the eliminating nuclear weapons from all, and I think you have a very valid point that certain countries, oppose other 'less developed' countries manufacturing nuclear weapons because they think they are more responsible, when in fact said supposedly responsible country is the only one to have ever used nuclear weapons in combat, I mean thats just rediculous. (I know that paragraph probably makes little sense). Anyway, if all nuclear weapons cannot be banned, although there is no real reason for this, I think the next best way to avoid a nuclear conflict is to give everyone nuclear weapons, that may sound crazy, but would you seriously launch a nuclear attack on another county knowing that they could launch a counter attack on you before your nuclear strike even got close, it worked during the cold war anyway.I am all in favour of nuclear power, as previously stated it is clean, affordable and capable of creating massive quantities of energy. however for it to be truely safe you have to ensure that the nuclear waste is disposed of in a safe manner, I mean you cant just chuck it in big hole and forget about it. that is not to say that the countries begining ann nuclear power programme are going to dispose of the waste in an unsafe fashion, in fact it is equally possible for this to happen in so called responsible countries.Any way a quick summary:Nuclear weapons - BadNuclear power - Good
