  1. That's really depressing using the FBI as a scam. I mean I've seen pretty good paypal ones that try to mask your address bar, but they don't know that I don't have paypal... lol!
  2. Wow, you call that not getting a lot of visitors ? I made my first 1 dollar after 3 days... (then again, my site has absolutely nothing to view! lol)
  3. The addons scripts, I think, have been removed. Use fantastico
  4. Could a functioning demo be made with restrictions? For example, a demo with 0.03mb of hosting space, no mysql no nothing, just a demo where users can view each page.
  5. lol, at the speed they're filming, they'll all be drinking age before they're done even the 6th movie.
  6. Finally, read a book without fliping pages. After they embed some tablet technology, we will never buy pens again. Buy your papers now!
  7. nooo!!... when I searched \"dooga\" in Google, my site USED TO come up as 3rd or 4th result, but now it\'s on the 5th PAGE! :P
  8. I found a pretty cool site. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ lol, it was from my adsense ad. I avoided clicking on it, and used the little URL in the bottom of the ad and typed it manually. (don\'t click your own ads or else...)
  9. Orkut is similar to Friendster by Microsoft, and it is made like a small community of family, friends, or random people. It is recommended by the companies to be the age of 18 or above to accept these invites, because sometimes these sites involve sexual relationships, or adult related relaionship. However, there will be no inappropriate content on the sites, so it is not "restricted" to people above the age of 18 (although Friendster does restrict a drinking age in the terms and conditions.) I've never used Orkut, but I find that it's a pretty interesting service, and that it's suitable for a family, a group of friends or a community like this one. (Meaning everyone you invite will automatically be added to your community... that's why some people might not want to invite strangers etc.)
  10. Personally I think that Yahoo briefcase used to be useful, but right now, it has proven to be the worst file hosting ever, because right now, I can even make my own file hosting service using php and mysql databases, providing password protected services or I can use gmail drive, or even just send myself the file just like how we used to do it in grade 5 . Other services such as RapidShare and Megaupload are also useful... someone may say that the files are hosted in the public, but actually, finding the page to download the file is very difficult, because they have hundreds of servers with all different subdomains, directories, and since everyone's password is really weak in Yahoo, it would be easier bruteforcing a Yahoo briefcase account that trying to find the URL for the file that you uploaded...
  11. I\'m so jealous of the people who can actually make so much money off ads, and have so many visitors. I\'m REALLY lucky that I get 100 visitors a day on my deserted unwanted boring ugly site updated 2 months ago. (And even more funny: I used to have a Zelda site, and people STILL come to my site, but they complain about my site not existing anymore). Maybe if I actually inserted content, I\'ll get more visitors?
  12. I think the reason it was closed because another moderator thought that the problem was resolved. Sorry for any inconvenience. Right now, I don't quite understand your problem. Does http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ appear, and your password doesn't work, or is it that http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ doesn't even load? http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ works for me, and so does http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Perhaps it's a proxy setting? In Internet explorer, go to Tools> Internet Options, click on Connections > Lan Settings and see if any of the checkboxes are checked. If they are, un check them and try it. If that makes your internet fail totally, go to the same place again and check the checkbox again. I'm not sure what else will affect your connection with cpanel.
  13. I was on a trip on the internet again, and I found a very interesting forum... http://www.techist.com/forums/f9/dreamweaver-mx-8-a-68275/ The members on the forum are a bit mean to the person asking the question... I'm not going to ruin it for you, so see for yourself. Oh and btw, if you read the whole topic, you'll the original topic starter posted an imageshack link of his graphics card "problem"... and now the link has so much bandwidth that imageshack specifically deleted that picture leaving a note saying that too much bandwidth was used up! First removed picture on imageshack I've ever seen in my life... It goes to show, that the fastest way to get famous is to get laughed off the internet... (no personal offense to anyone of course) Note: If you are offended by this post, for any reason, please contact me, and i will remove the post and any links to the site immediately.
  14. What kind of problems are you getting? Is it that you cannot use your password? If you forgot your password, please go to https://support.xisto.com/ and click on the Reset Cpanel Password. (Note: 10 Credits required. The credits will not be returned). If you know your password, please remember to NOT POST the password on this forum to get help from other members. Instead try the following: 1.) Login here: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ 2.) if that didn't work, try http://forums.xisto.com/cpanel 3.) I'm assuming you tried http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ already For FTP: 1.) Try 69.50.188.18 as the FTP server 2.) Try ftp.trap17.com 3.) Try ftp.spudguns.trap17.com If those options do not work, please reply, and an admin will investigate. Thank you for your patience, and sorry for any incovenience the service may have caused.
  15. Well, from experience, that much spam can deduct approx. 90 credits when the script executes the code. And believe me, that's virtually an immediate deletion of website, since the code deletes your website at -30 credits. And since you only have 15 credits, it's not going to look pretty And it's not even 10 million digits, you wouldn't get 100,000 anyways.
  16. Finally, my old computer will become of use again... Also, http://www.noip.com/ offers a great DNS that supports dynamic IPs. How it works, is that it installs some small software on your computer, that monitors your IP. When your IP changes, it informs the server, so that your URL will be propergated to the new IP. I never tried making a server with a computer because of the fact that I simply can't keep a computer on 24/7. Xerver is also a good program, and you can install php from http://php.net/ and mysql from who knows where, but you can install it. I just prefer getting hosted, because it saves the hastle and saves electricity
  17. The link will lead to a page that will require you to enter you forum username and password, which will then terminate your hosting without any more confirmations. Why not try Xisto's other network, http://www.trap17.net/ if you do not have the ability to post in our forums? You only need to put a small ad but other than that, all the features are pretty much the same! Try it, it's free, and activates instantly, good alternative to those who can't earn credits fast enough. (One account limited per person)
  18. It's just a rank that displays on the forums. But you do earn more respect.
  19. Now, not to spoil your Christmas dream or anything, but are you sure you wrote that?
  20. I think Dofus is pretty fun... my character finally reached level 11! Thanks for telling us about this game!
  21. I have some useless invites I would like to give out for free. Just go to my site an post in the shoutbox if you want one Or just PM me, leave your email here, whatever. I also came across a very sad site http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Sigh, I remember how Xisto used to be the top 3 results when you typed "gmail invites" in google
  22. Well, I mean, you can always get your US or Canadian or Australian friend or just a friend from somewhere else to sign up for you, and give you the password and account. However, I don't think Google would like that. (Maybe I should try to get my british friends to send me a googlemail invite... it doesn't hurt to get extra email accounts )
