  1. The bold text is a php script generated message. The php code prevents other file types to be uploaded. If you read the php script, you'll find that it restricts certain file types to be uploaded, because it is trying to protect your webspace by not allowing dangerous scripts to be uploaded. The message simply means that the image that you tried to upload isn't one of the file types allowed by the script itself. I can modify the script to let it upload anything I want, or maybe change the warning message too. This does not mean that Xisto - Web Hosting does not support your functions, it only means that the script you have doesn't support it. For future references, and easier organization of support, you could try http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Feel free to reply to this topic to clarify your situation, or as OpaQue has stated, contact him to recieve a full refund. However, please note, that OpaQue has already said he will install ImageMagik. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Regards, Management.
  2. This is a pretty good idea! Although there is usually at least 1 moderator online, and the shoutbox is something that every will see right away.
  3. I bumped into this page:when I was browsing the internet Scroll down to the bottom, and you'll hear some pretty amazing songs! Sung by text to speech synthesized voices!
  4. I definately don't think I'm marvelous at all
  5. This will be very good for a lot of people, because they can save bandwidth and quota fees with this free service. You have to pay for the domain though, obviously
  6. In my opinion, if you were to use link farms, make sure you put yourself in the right category. Don't try to put it in every category, because they aren't relevant.
  7. Very good site! The navigation buttons are pretty! There are a lot of pages, which is good! I think the main table or DIV should be centered. BTW you spelt "chris" wrong in the email. Success! 9.9999999999999/10
  8. You can submit a support ticket to http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ while you're waiting for an administrator's site. There are live help supporters and network administrators in the support team that will be happy to help you. You could always wait for an administrator's reply, since they have authentic access to the server too.
  9. Here is one problem with this method. You are using the HTTP referal information. Some software (like Ad Muncher) for example, let you change your REFERAL information. If I change the referal information to always be "google.com" for example, then all the images on your site would be broken!
  10. It's really too bad... I wanted to try it out (cough and steal some templates ).
  11. That's funny! They didn't make a page for each domain (example: .fr in french, .it in italian)... They just decided to be lazy and make one page for everyone!Oh no they are also copyright 2005! (forgotten?)
  12. Oh no, sudokus are really hard for me, although some of my friends can spend hours on it on PAPER!
  13. I used trillian for a LONG time until I got fed up that it didn't have any custom emoticons. My friends were sending too many custom emoticons, and since I had a Windows Live Messenger invite, I decided to go back to MSN. It's a bit more stable compared to trillian, and exits faster
  14. I'm more of a cheapy! I use their affiliate program and get FREE scripts
  15. There are so many names! Windows XP only has 3, but now they come up with so many! I'll choose the Home one probably.
  16. There is a very easy to use affiliate system that lets you get the scripts for free!
  17. In my opinion, the font is too common. Maybe grab a font from 1001fonts.com or something, to make it different. The pixel font is fine, everyone uses pixel fonts
  18. I'm don't like ads that make sound, like the simile one that said "Say something! WhAT?"
  19. If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it for 10 credits at https://support.xisto.com/
  20. The hosting credits system awards the posts, not the number of posts. For example, your post has gotten you already 2 credits, and on another forum, no matter how much text you posted, you will still only earn 1 point, like how you said. The Xisto hosting credits system is built to be unique, and has been tested to be optimized and easier to use then other forums, who count post counts instead.Right now, I've already earned 2 credits from posting this. I would only have to post 5 of these kind of posts to get hosting. On another host, you would have to post 30 or 100 or maybe even 200 depending on the package they offer. Most of them offer packages for "points" over 100, so you would have to post more. On the Xisto forums, a ONE POST tutorial can get you 10 credits and more, depending on your length of the post!
  21. Just add a parked domain, and the domain will be pointed at your site, meaning you can send mail with it etc. Just click on "Parked Domains" in Cpanel, and add them.
  22. That's a pretty well designed site there :rolleyes:I didn't read the content yet, but remember to always verify all the services that you want to sign up for.
  23. Well I've never been scammed, but I do know that a lot of ad services such as Google Adsense, Adbrite, and Chitika are legit and actually pay the publishers, so if you want, you can give them a try.
  24. hmm... This worm might actually be useful! I have so much junk I think that I should be downloading these worms
