Searching on https://archive.org/, I found some of Google's amazing history, where Larry and Sierry were still low budget, and stanford students. Even Google had to rely on Yahoo's "Yahoo Group" service, for the "Google Friends" newsletter. Look at Google's old newsgroup here : https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/google-friends/info It's hard to believe that even Google had to go through the period of "small and little". And here's Google's very first newsletter (yes when Google didn't own a domain, and was using "google.stanford.edu" https://www.google.com/googlefriends/apr1998.html (Google archived their newsletters in their own site, so we don't actually know if they changed anything or not...)

That sounds quite promising! I'm going to give it a try.Does it still come with the spyware that is "optional"?

How To Make Image To Highlight When It`s Mouseovered
Dooga replied to tempest's topic in General Discussion
Wow I really like the CSS method! However i'm currently using firefox, so I wouldn't know if it's cross browser supported. However I thought Opera 8 didn't support opacity? Most likely in IE you would have to add some extra hacks in javascript to make it work. Good thing Opera 9 has opacity features! I would like to try this one day..... perhaps someone could post a tutorial on opacity in CSS :)However, it seems like Opera just "hides" the picture as it doesn't define opacity... -
Well considering the age of the hosting service, it sorta explains why their website looks outdated, and looks like it uses HTML 3.2 or something.... They have a hard to navigate one-page site.... Even if someone wanted to register they probably can't even find what packages there are...

Don't worry we will always support whatever you decide to do! Your decision will always be backed up by every single one of us!

In my adventures of searching for my ideal browser, I found one that suited me and I used it for over a year. Meet Avant Browser. He's a very cool browser.... has everything Opera, Firefox and everything else including the Internet Explorer compability, excluding the security issues. When I thought I fell in love with Avant Browser and it's useful Internet Explorer filled fun, Opera becomes free. Yes you heard it, I finally fell in love with another browser... one I can finally use legally for free. So I strugged between a choice between an ultra compatible browser, or a an awsome, email integrated, widget filled fun. Now Opera to me, was like a firefox and internet explorer combined...less the vunerabilites and slow loading crap. However, there was only one problem. Opera liked to crash! A lot! So what if Opera's the fastest browser for every category you have, and so what if Opera is a smaller file size compared to Opera? Right now firefox is my friend. Except the loading part. Fortunately, I found way to make firefox faster with some of its extensions and what he taught us. Now, I use firefox all the time even though it's not my favorite just yet.... convince me more!

Dooga replied to Paul's topic in Operating Systems
I've never seen Microsoft put a beta version of a full OS up for the public, but who knows? Maybe I just missed it... when Windows XP came out I was still using Windows 98.... -
What Is The Fourth Dimension? something like a hypercube...?
Dooga replied to apexbug's topic in General Discussion
Well I guess it would be interesting to know what it is. I'm sticking with my time thing because I read it somewhere, and it hyptonized me. But sure, I would like to hear more opinions! -
Denied By Google Adsense In Past Getting Approved second time
Dooga replied to garbage's topic in Search Engines
If you were denied due to lack of efficient content, sure you should be approved if this site is better and follows the program policies. But if you were denied because you were a person who used to be banned, then you might want to contact Google about it. Sometimes, numerous emails and persistence mixed with politeness will get you far. -
It would be pretty interesting if the world had no religion. Personally I think it would make a lot of things easier... no religious conflict, no descrimination, and no hypethetical theories (at least, some of them... again I am not saying that god doesn't exist, that whoever isn't real, or that any of the theories are fake, but I'm just giving a personal opinion meant to no harm.)

The Possibility Of Gay Rights Should it be allowed?
Dooga replied to BooZker's topic in General Discussion
I wouldn't really agree with people who think gay marriage is some kind of degradation of society. Although marriage is sort of vague to be used as a description for same sex partnership. Define marriage.... -
What Is The Fourth Dimension? something like a hypercube...?
Dooga replied to apexbug's topic in General Discussion
Think of it this way.... we see a point. That's the first demension. It's not actually 1D, it's just a symbolic representation that we would use on a map for example. Now, what ways are there to duplicate that point on the same area? Another point right? Now we have 2 points, on the same area... 2 demensional! 2 Axis now exist. Now, lets think... What ways are there to have another point, on top of the original point? Add another axis! Now we have 3 axii, and they would have overlapped if it was 2D or 1D. Now, how can we have the point overlap in a 3D axis? We can't add another axis.... that's impossible! But we can duplicate the axis. Imagine a cube with a point in it. How can we have the point in the exact location of the cube, but not actually overlapping? That's the concept of the 4th demension... time! Using different time, we are able to have 2 points in the same space, without overlapping each other.Imagine the transparent cube with a point in it. Suddenly that point disappears. 1 minute later, another point replaces it. We have achieved having 2 points in the same space without overlapping each other by having them there in different times. That's the same as having 2 points in a cube, one closer and one farther, but having the same distance to the 4 edges. While they don't overlap, they are the in the same y and x coordinates. But what changes it, is the z coordinate, which allows 2 points to have the same space, in a different dimension. The 5th demension? Think this: How can we have 2 points, in the same space, and same time? Alas, that is currently not possible, unless the 5th dimension compromises the concept of overlapping... -
It's not a joke, I've seen it before. Just refresh the page. Problem solved.I doubt you have a virus, perhaps your browser is requesting the page too quick, and Google doesn't like too many requests .

Getting Fresh Water From The Ocean - My Idea
Dooga replied to dazappa's topic in Science and Technology
We will never run out of water in our lifetime, and probably in a few generations to go, so it doesn't concern me mwuahaha. Actually, it's very unlikely that we would run out of water anyways.
