I have never had so many problems getting onto one site, before in my entire life. I mean if you are goign to offer a service that requires peopel to access to your site to receive the service, you had better have a server and a connection that can handle the traffic. If not, shut down your business, because you are a terrible business owner!!!!Holy crap, i hate that. And usually it's when you are in the middle of registering or filling out forms or trying to communicate with someone! Man that just down right pisses me off! I have read so many stories lately about people making money by playing online games and selling stuff in their games for real money. The latest I heard about was Project Entropy. This one guy sold his moon base for $50,000 real money. WTH?If it is that easy to play a game and make money why aren't more peopel doing it?This other guy paid something like 100Grand for a planet and then is making money buy selling property on it.IT'S A GAME!!!!!!!!Hmmm... ideas, ideas, ideas!

I agree. A lot of peopel will think they have a virus or trojan just because their machine is running slow. When in fact they installed some free software like a free solitaire or webshots (that a good one), having themes installed that show pretty flowers everytime you read an email, or my favorite, the animated smile faces, stuff like that. Crap that just slows down your computer big time.

I've been a tech for 12+ years and here is my opinion.Dells: Have issues over heatingHP: Makes a great product but hard to get repaired, you are getting Compaq stuffIBM: Awesome product, but expensiveAlienware: Primarily for gamers, but WOW what a machineToshiba: Eh, ok, just not as ruggedSony: Nice laptops. Light, this, but break very easilyOff brands: Stay away from them. I don't care how good it looks, and what it is offering, stay away!Now mind you , this is my opinion based on my experience. Other may have had either similar or better experiences with their laptops. But at least you are asking, which is a great first step.

Well, what kind of site is it? Depending on your content you could do what yopu are doing here, and that is posting in forums. Yes I understand that it would be a lot of registrating, but it will pay off in the end.(A way around all the emails is to make an email account for that purpose sepcifically)Plus you could always ask other sites like your to advertise for you, by putting a banner up on their site, and you would do the same thing in return.There are other ways as well, free search engine submission, word of mouth, etc.

Exactly. Peopel will like what is either different or popular. And those so called "fans" ARE fake. But hey, who are we to judge whether or not they are true fans or not. I mean, if you trult liek something then by all means support it. But if you are liking somethign just because you want to be part of the crowd, then it takes away the specialness of the something, ya know?

Nice thought. I liek this weird thinkign kind of stuff. I think that the light would be reflected until it ran out of space to be reflected by. Meaning that it would bounce back and forth until every inch of the mirrors occupied space to reflect from. And it would be bright as heck. But how would we know?

Well no deed to be fancy with the background, transparent would be best I think in case I want to work with different color themes for headers and whatnot. Size: 350 x 150 I think would be best. vector would be great so I can size this the way I want for printing purposes as well. I will throw a quick sketch up so you guys can see what I am after. I have seen a lot of freelance sites pop up recently for all kinds of computer related things.CodersGrfx DesignersWeb DevelopersTranscribingEtc.I think it would be neat to get an idea of a program and have someone develop it for you, pay their fee, and then sell the app outright.Or make some extra money designing SIGs for people. I have seen it done, and from what I hear you can rake in about 200-400$ a month doing it.I just got paid $50 for writing an article for a Christian Magazine. I mean it's not millions, but it's 50$ more than what I had, ya know?If you have a talent, offer it up on these freelance sites. there are a lot fo them in many different categories. Check it out.

Ok so you are thirsty in the middle of the night. You get up to go get a glass of whatever and you get ice and a drink in a glass. And come back to bed. I get up in the morning and go to get breakfast, in my drawers and socks (floors get cold overnight), and I step into a puddle of water that was left from an ice cube that did not fall all the way out of the ice chute on the fridge door.NOW MY SOCK IS WET!!! There is nothing more irritating then having a wet sock. And not 2 wet socks, just one.I HATE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Whew ok, got that out of my system!

I would advertise on other forums or BBSs. That usually gets a lot of attention, especially if your forum is one of only a few.But again that may either get the hosts of the other forums upset, or they may not care. But usally forums have a section devoted to advertising or promotion of your site.Try that

I have a few ideas:An online site for people who have lost shoes on the sides of roads. I mean have you ever been on a road and see a lonely shoe, and wonder where it came from?OrHow about a Forum devoted to Arguments. I have always seen peopel talking on forums about everything but what really gets people upset. You could set up categories like, Religion, Sex, Science, Light Beer versus Dark, etc. :)Of course none of these would work, but they are ideas.

My mom is an English Teacher, and believe you me spellign counts. Last time I gave her a birthday card, she graded it and handed it back to me. I got a D on it too. :)I mean I would hate for our children to go through school spelling pitcher like pticehrIt's a matter of basic principles. Why do we need them. I mean really what is the point anyway. I really don't feel like stick a machine up my nostril to cut those annoyingly long hairs just so I look neat and trim. I mean evidently it's a gainst manner law to stick your fingers up there in anyway shape or form, or you will look like you are picking your nose when in fact you are scracthing it. Now granted there are times when you do have a really big crusty up there an dyou need to get it out, and it IS IN FACT attached to a nose hair and it all comes out in one single yank, but then you sneeze. Which kind of feels good in weird way.*Fact: A sneeze is one tenth the feeling of an orgasmJust an annoying thing I had to get of my chest!

Moving to a small town just isn't enough.I too had a problem that involved my son and I wanted to kill the person who assulted my boy. But after I considered the options, I would do my children no good, by being in jail. So I decided to pick our family up and move, but then I would be running in fear. I decided to stay and live and work it out. Your strength comes from the situations that you go through. That which does not kill you only makes you stronger. Be strong, teach your loved ones what to do in case of this situation. Do not go somewhere by yourself, especially at night and where you are not close to other peopell or a phone.Carry pepper spray, learn a form of martial arts, carry a walking stick. Somethign to protect yourselves. And I love this quote, "Show them no mercy, because they will show you known."Just my advice

Goth is just another state of mind, like punk was. I mean we all have stereotypes associated with us. Me for instance, I have been labeled a Geek. I don't care, because I am. But I do not negativity by the way I dress or my attitude. There is a certain stigma with being Goth, and yes you will get those looks. But once again, ask yourself, why are you goth? I mean are you goth because it's cool and different, or are you goth because you have all those feelings and want to wear clothes that are associated with being goth. I mean an upside down cross, is associated with satan worshiping. Therefore people will call you that. I mean if I had a pocket protector because it was agreat place to keep my glasses and pens, people would call me a Nerd as soon as they saw me. First impressions are lasting impressions. And they will last a lifetime. So consider your future.
