I am working on this business, and I want the website to look have way decent. it doesn't have to be Microsoft perfect, ya know? You know what? I like Ubuntu. I think it has to be the nicest by far. I used to really like Mandrake, until it went commercial. And Fedora, well that has been disbanded. there is a great site for all the current Linux Distros out there. I forget the name of the site, but if you do a google on it, it should come up.The only thing with Linux though, is the fact that the programs hardly have installers. You usually have to compile the apps before you install, and that takes command line crap, and I hate it. If installing apps was ae easy as it is in windows or macs, then Linux would take off. I wonder why no one is trying to tackle this issue.Heck I loved BeOS until it tanked. I thought that was the best alternative Operating system to Windows and Macs.

I agree. You find better content to put into you messages. I started using words I would have never used in real life. It's amazing how much you can say by typing on a keyboard.

I was thinking about making fixed width, which is no easy task. I tried, but it doesn't center properly. I just wish they made this stuff easier to understand.Ya know? Like, here is my site now center it and if someone maximizes it, center it there too.But Nooooooooo, too easy to make a programming language sound like a real language.

I am tryign to figure out if it is possible, using redirects to have more than one registered domain per site. For instance, I register 1.com and 2.comThan on my site I redirect 1.com to goto http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and redirect 2.com to http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ 2 sites on one server.Is this possible? Any do you think it is a good idea?

Well I was able to left align the image. Now I just have to make my spacer image show up and fill in from the end of the image at the right till the end of the table.

Running a server can be quite expensive if you are running on a dedicated fast line, multiple servers, for back up purposes unless something goes down, business licenses, software licenses, tech support, etc.Most sites running servers are not the geeks in the basement kind of guys. These are business people who don't know and pay out the butt for things that they most likely do not need. And a lot of people do not trust linux yet. Unix, yes, but linux no? They would rather go with a reputable firm like Microsoft. Just fear mongering I think, but it's about the masses, ya know?

Personally I think you should use a Conan type font or maybe something oriental. Just the orientation of the character looks that way, with the face paint and clothing.

Guys thank you for pointing that out. I do see a limit now. But still 1 Gig for anything isn't so bad. Just another free file server, and yes it is new, so it may have a bug or 2 in it. Thanks for checking it out though. i am sure they appreciate the traffic.

Ok I just got the newest development build of BonEcho and, maybe it's just me, but I don't remember seeing this in Firefox anywhere. BonEcho now has a spell check built into it? If I am mistaken, someone please let me know, because either I wasn't typing a whole heck of a lot or I was just so dumb for missing it.

If there is anyone out there who is familiar with this CMS and knows about their template design, can you please speak up. It seems like no one at Joomla.org ever answers any of the questions I pose. So if at all possible help me, or point me in the right directions that would be most appreciated. I am currently using a header image that is 850 x 150 and I am using a variable width template. The page looks nice in 800x600 mode, but go to a higher resolution and you get a nice white gap on the left hand side of my header image.
