You should be able to slow down the ram to the speed the Bios accepts. I've been told I need to do this to add more ram, which I havn't got round to.Each bios is different, so if googling yours doesn't help, you'll have to look in it yourself.

I've had an access denied message on various things, like ending services. Other services (Also anti-virus/non-m$) take a long time to end, or reset themselves to Automatic when I set Disabled/Manual.Panda and Webroot Spy Sweeper re-add themselves to Services and startup even when I delete them with HJT. What are you comparing it to? You can't compare a browser game for dialup to anything installed like world of warcraft.

make menuconfig doesn't always work, it depends on some extra ssh stuff. I've ran a bnc for almost three years, I definitely suggest -SBNC.I would suggest taking out the -v in tar, and after the cd, just ./configure, make, make install and if ./configure doesn't, edit the psybnc.conf.
