  1. "This response is returned by the Apache web server when directory listings have been turned off. Microsoft IIS responds in the same way when Active Directory listings are denied."So just don't ask for */.

    Cronjob

On the half hour means at :30, every half hour means :00 and :30.

    Changes

Anything involving, including asking for in includes, anything to do with sessions, cookies, headers, redirects ALL need to be before any html or white space.

    Permanent Variable

    <a href="#" title="Here">img</a> ?

    Cronjob

It's all logical, it's every half hour if you told it. So the time php tells you will be the same, hopefully to the second.

    Changes

Put all session_ and cookie_ stuff before any html or blank lines. If this doesn't make sense, it's only ten lines so just post them for our help.
  7. iGuest and Feedbacker are anonymous people. Imo, very stupid people.
  8. I don't know about lower down, but the highest ones own the servers which answer the questions about the domains. If you made your own top level domain (net, org, com), then made a dns server, add entries that could be internal or for the whole internet. You'd need to get people to use it, eg ICAAN, OpenDNS, or just your network, your building/LAN.
  9. Can't you change the RAM speed in the Bios? And 533 is slow.. it's probably the portability of this laptop.

    Apache + PHP3

Php3 was probably the latest at the time. Php6 now ftw
  11. "There's no official word on the live date for the post-beta version yet."Took a minute on google.
  12. With Multi-core, other stuff can use the other core if one is taken up by games. I hope they know to use most of the other one, but doubt it.With Multi-gpu (SLI), I think it's all done lower down, so OpenGL/Directx doesn't need the programmer to direct it about.I wanna make a quad-core, quad-card PC, hopefully on something small like microATX.
  13. Loading text first is completey normal, if not the proper way. It's degrading gracefully. Where the files are only makes a difference for multiple requests, which both can do. Opera lets you change it in a GUI, FF lets you do it in about:config.

    Flash Cs3

Yes, just google for flash tutorials, then stick on what you want, like games, mp3 players, etc.
  15. Have you tried return: false; like for links?
  16. Google using WebKit is probably the most half-assed thing they've done. Imo Presto (Opera) > webkit > *. Gecko and Trident aren't as far apart as ff users think.
  17. The Edu-Uk store is the other half of the student stuff, though its only 8% discount. Is it worth trying that procureweb thing at college (your high-school)?
  18. Well.. IE isn't supposed to be so intregal. Not sure if thats for Vista or IE though..What's new in this beta? The old one was okay, but still had loads of problems like you can't do anything in the first ten seconds of opening it, and taking a while when you min/maxi-mised it.
  19. I'm looking to get a laptop, hopefully Mac. The cheapest I can find is £656 on Apple Edu-UK, Amazon is 696. Should I bother looking for cheaper?
  20. Just a site-wide design. Nearly everywhere has it. It needs some fore-planning and structure, but then so does the game.
  21. Ubuntu has free delivery (Suse did it for Mero, but I don't know of any structured program for it), so getting the burnt cd was how I picked. All the choices run on all sorts of processors and can use all sorts of wifi cards and other connections. And run about a third of the programs you're probably used to, the other two-thirds being easily replaced.
  22. With pendrives as big as half a drive, and most laptops with user-changeable ram and batteries, its not as bad as it used to be.
  23. Flash (and Java) pre-installed is really rare because of patents, and the alternatives are rarely used.Merovingian, thats about right, they(ext) should be easier/safer to resize than windows(ntfs) anyway. Both have GUI's, Synaptic and something from Yum.
  24. It's for rollbacks. Could you show some way of matching them up, so we can pick which to delete?
