  1. Is there a particular program I need, and can all usb sticks be split, and then each partition run an OS (one that is meant to be able to run from USB)?
  2. On my (Cybershot) phone, Saturation is a really good effect. I don't think I have Greyscale, but nearly everything I've taken pictures of, also with proper cameras, have been sunny stuff.
  3. I don't know better, can you suggest equals (eg, for computer stuff in UK).
  4. In Javascript, there's history.back and history.go(N), eg -1.
  5. A lot of it can depend on what you do (sql, sockets, user data) and what php version you use (php5 has oop, mysqli).Mostly, its mysqli and *escape*, php.net is good for both of these.
  6. LiveCD's! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LiveDistros Ubuntu has free shipping, Imo I'd download a few iso's now and wait till summer to burn them, Ubuntu is very good and you'll be happy with it at least till you see alternatives, probably even then.
  7. Heliosphere In terms of that its a real word, thats good. Oddly wikipedia doesn't say the pronouction, but I think its heeleeo, which means its not as connected to the game as the written word is. I can't think of anything better, just think if how you say it makes any difference to how your audience would remember/think of it.
  8. Three moniters plus backup? It's probably just me, but I can't spot Ram details.Imo I'd drop the moniters for a projector, even if I'd rather have a mac.
  9. I was looking at that topic when I made this one, they both use images.Document write writes where its called, but the xml compatable way, don't you have to append it to somewhere?
  10. Thank you, I'm also used to Xhtml1.1, it's overlooked when I'm not paying enough attention.
  11. Thank you. In Opera, if I change the doctype and html to an empty <html>, the text size changes a bit (quirks mode?), but it still doesn't work. With the doctype in, IE7 accepts it after the CSS change. So its just Opera's quirks that break some js? It's a program bug?
  12. The link is where I got it from, the code is my attempt at changing it, which has the identical javascript, but it doesn't work. Can anyone fix it for me? http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  13. Ajax doesn't have any progression notice, if you find the four modes it's just request send, request recieved, being worked on, and come back. The best you could do is quarters, which like all ajax scripts would be by the statechange.edit: Yeah, your link, the first two, with the four stages are more true, but the other two are more expected. Depends what you are after Habble, true or fluid.
  14. They do a lot behind the scenes, apparantly there was a fairly major formula change this month.
  15. I'm hoping for your third sentance, for someone to know where prepacked-swf/fla files with a note saying what url params it uses.
  16. I am looking for a CSS Rounded Corners script that works with application/xml+html (I believe this means not document.write), no images, javascript script that works in the main three or so browsers.I've tried a lot, things like Curvey corners jump around a bit and need extra settings in the head. I havn't seen many using bullet points, none through js.
  17. Move html and printing php to the end, and check everything is a valid function.
  18. I have so little flash knowlegde, I'm asking for the final product, tutorials are easier to find than the end product on google. Basically, I can only do the backend.
  19. I'm looking for flash/java games with external highscores. I believe this means that it goes to something like scores.php?game=HeliAttack2&score=16720, but I'd hope there are more secure ways to stop cheating.I suppose I'm asking for a zip of all the files, or just the packaged swf file, with the file and params it sends the score to.
  20. That much money does need someone smart and well known in control of it.Does anyone believe he's autistic? He seems quite confident and collected, not like someone who is smarter because of it (Einstein, etc).
  21. Not terribly related, but if you have a frames site within an object or frame on your site, can you control the innermost frame (changing url) from your site? Yoursite=(Theirsite=((target)) controls).
  22. Someone else would have invented it. We might not even have ipv4 and its problems.
  23. now=new Date(); hour=now.getHours(); min=now.getMinutes(); sec=now.getSeconds();
  24. Feedbacker, you copied two posts off somewhere else, the second post correctly saying the tutorial is rubbish. How many people are you?So much is worth less because of the General Exchange. Things like seconds, gems, runes are still okay.
  25. You'd need infinite energy to move data around, and therefore it'd weigh (speed of light squared)/infinity.
