I agree. You can build up credits quickly since the credits depend on the length and serious content in each post, not the number of posts you make. I have built up to 100+ just in case I need the time off. There is also another option if you can afford it. Check this Out.

As you have already found, this is a lively forum with lots of friendly helpful people. Have been watching your exchanges in the shout box. My vote goes to truefusion because of the overall blending, love the color co-ordination in the background and the text effect. Like the text effect in samma's as well and Albus I have already commented on previously. Truefusion's colors are more vibrant as opposed to the other 2 being so dark and forboding. BTW the_aggie 10 needs to come back with a reason for the vote.

I just couldn't pass up this subject. First time I have encountered it on here. Back in 19*Bleep* I was our college women's champ in Badminton. Love it, the sport is rather demanding and I can't play competitively anymore, but do play whenever I get a chance just for fun and exercise.

Having just met a couple from Lancaster, PA, on our trip to Seattle by train, this is a very shocking occurance hitting close to my heart. I am certain the couple knows the families affected by this horror. My only reaction is to send a prayer of healing and sympathy to those families.

If she smiles back, you have an opening. Do this a couple of times before you approach her. You will build your confidence with every encounter. Then you will probably have the confidence you need to speak to her.

Had another head butting with a large corporation. This time it is the Bank of America. Seems they merged with MBNA America or took them over, whatever. Anyway, I received a new credit card in the mail from BofA with a new account number. Now this wouldn't be a problem, except that I have a vendor charging a monthly payment on the account; who, of course, will be sending the charge through on the original account number. BofA's new account number arrived on Saturday, 3 days before the vendor is due to send through the charge. I called BofA about this and was told that the charge should go through on the old account number, but I should notify the vendor about the change before next month's charge is sent through. Well, now, this raised the hair on the back of my neck. THEY changed the account number and they expect ME to bear the responsibility of notifying the vendor. Now I don't have a toll free number for the vendor, who is out of my state. I pointed it out to them that it was going to cost me to make this notification and I thought they should bear the resposibility since THEY initiated the change. You will never guess what they offered. THEY had the toll free number for this vendor. Now how is this? They have more information about the vendor than I do and they still expect me to take responsibility for notification of the change. I jumped on line today to see if the vendor charge came through on the original account number, and it was posted today. As soon as this month's payment is posted I am going to cancel my credit card with them. I don't need this hassle on top of all that I have recently had with MBNA; about which I have previously vented. I have done business with this same credit card for 10 years now and have had more trouble with them in the last few months than I have had over all those years. Enough is Enough. I guess when I call the vendor with this information, they will just have to send me monthly statements to pay. We shall see how they react.

That is right. If he feels he did something wrong, then he should handle it accordingly. But I still see no reason to feel guilty about cheating if there isn't a commitment. Maybe he just feels guilty for the reasons you state such as STD and promiscuity. And I disagree strongly about exclusivity being the default. Just because a guy takes a gal out on a few dates, doesn't automatically give her exclusive rights to him or for that matter him to her. Exclusivity comes with the commitment. And I never said he should continue to behave this way, I only said he shouldn't feel guilty about cheating if there wasn't a commitment.

Well now. You have only dated this girl, Cassie, for the last 5 weeks, right? Have you commited yourself exclusively to her during this time? If you have, then I agree with the others. If not, I don't see what the problem is. You don't owe Cassie any loyalty or fidelity unless there is a commitment. If there is none, then you haven't cheated on her. You just have a guilty conscience. In both cases, let your conscience be your guide. It will tell you what the right thing to do is.

Hmm. I couldn't even venture a guess as to the percentages, but I have in my ancestry Scotch, French, German, Irish, Dutch, English, and whatever else came over on the Mayflower in 1620. My line on my maternal grandfather's side traces back to the Royal Stewarts of Scotland and to Pricilla Mullen and John Alden of Mayflower fame. My maternal grandmother's line goes back to France, Netherlands and Germany. My paternal grandfather's line goes back to Mennonites from the Pflatz in Germany early 1800s and my paternal grandmother's line comes from Scotland and Ireland. I have ancestors that fought in all the homeland wars starting with the Revolutionary War. Ancestors who founded the city of Indiana, Pennsylvania and who pioneered Watsonville, California during the gold rush. I am a fourth generation native-born Californian. We have been in this country so long that I just consider myself an All American. Or a Heinz 57 varieties.

On our recent trip across country on Amtrak, from Michigan to Seattle, WA, we met a lot of interesting people. Among them were several groups of Amish folk from different parts of the USA. An elder couple was from Lancaster County, PA; one family with 2 young boys was from near Bowling Green, KY; and another family was from Wisconsin. They all offered up information about their beliefs and practices very willingly, much to our surprise. We had lively informative conversations with all of them. Most interesting to us was the fact that they do take converts. We were not aware of this as most groups seem to be a more closed community. They did clear up the myth about why they don't want their pictures taken. We were told some time ago that they believed that a picture took away or captured some of their soul. This is not true. We were corrected to understand that the objection is taken from the bible in regards to not creating man-made images. Another interesting bit of information, is that the Mennonites are a fracture group from the Baptist Religion. The Amish are another splinter group from the Mennonites that happened when the Mennonites began to relax some of their tenets. The Amish chose to keep the strict or more traditional tenets. Children are brought up in the tradition of community and home schooled in most cases. Some Mennonites do attend public schools, however. When the children reach maturity, they go away from the community, for approximately one year, to see the outside world. This helps them decide for sure if they truely wish to remain as a member. They are not forced to stay within the community. A rather humorous event occured when we first spoke to the family from Kentucky. One, as a rule, would expect to hear a Pennsylvania Dutch or German accent coming from an Amish person. Well, when the gentleman spoke, much to our surprise, out came this thick Kentucky accent. We learned his home state when we asked about the accent. Further on in our conversation he said he guesses he is an Amish redneck. Unusual to say the least. He really had a sense of humor. We also encountered some Hutterites or Hooterites, not sure of how they spell it. They were very timid and kept to themselves, especially the females. When the elder Amish gentleman approached them, they were even closed-mouth to him, so we didn't learn anything about their tenets. They were on their way to Spokane, WA to pick potatoes. The Amish were all traveling on vacations seeing the sights of interest such as big cities, National Parks and etc. Our train attendant was from Tibet. He too was an interesting fellow. He was very slight built and non-assertive, which made his job hard for him when a slightly under-the-weather guy stumbled into the wrong seat on our car. He tried very hard to make the guy understand that he was in the wrong car and needed to find his own seat, but he just couldn't handle the situation very effectively. They guy did finally find his way to the right car and seat on his own.

Sounds like conjunctivitis to me. You probably got dirt (germs) in you eye when you used a dirty hand to rub it. Try rinsing it out with sterile water or Visine eye wash. Visine will relieve the itching as well. If it doesn't clear up in the next day, you need to see a doctor. Conjuctivitis is a rather common eye problem, but then it could be something more serious. So, be attentive to it so it doesn't become worse.
