  2. ROFLMAO This was a good one. Thanks for sharing, haslip. 5 more to go. Also, I am glad somebody remembers similar things from their childhood, per other post.

    Hey...

Forgiven for what? Albus didn't dub me a "One Woman Welcome Committee" for nothing. Now I only need 6 more posts til 500.
  4. Hello loserface58 and welcome from Mich, in Michigan, USA. What a handle. Where does it come from? Can I sneak into your luggage when you leave for Greece? I am 5'3' with green eyes, also. So we have that in common at least. Tell us a little more about your hobbies, likes and dislikes, and what the theme of your site will be when you get hosting. Sounds like you have a talent for electronics and puters. You need to concentrate on getting your GPA up though. You will get ahead much faster in that field with good book learning.

  7. Wow that was a long time ago. Let's see if I can dredge up some favorite childhood things. How about roller skates that you hooked on your shoes with a skate key, which of course, tore the soles off of your shoes in time? But back then you could get them sewn back on at the shoe repair. Then there was hop scotch, jacks, making your own skate board with old skates and a piece of 2 by 4, clipping old playing cards to your bicycle frame so they hit in the spokes and made noise like a motorcycle, playing neighborhood baseball in the street, walking to school everyday even when you lived a mile from the school, climbing trees usually to collect fruit in a neighbor's yard, hiking up into the mountains and camping (on the ground with no tent) then fishing for your breakfast which you fried over a camp fire (no grill), going to the Saturday kids' matinees for a bread wrapper admission, taking the family dog out to the field across the way to build a raft in the overflowing creek during the winter months (it always seemed to rain a lot where I was), listening to the continuing adventures of Cinnamon Bear on the radio at Christmas time, and I guess I could go on, but most of you won't even relate to all of this. Notice from jlhaslip: I do! I do!
  8. Then Here is my vote. I think Avalon's sig jumps out at me because of the wonderful brilliant colors and the really neat render he used. The whole thing is a very nice finished product.
  9. I agree about the scrolling problem. Having to click on View the Shoutbox just to follow the quick conversations is a nuisance as well.
  10. Hurray, I found a site to download the ttf font for free. I have got it now. Colonna MT font here
  11. Yes, I have learned that already tonight, but it is such a nuisance. It would be so much easier to to use the Skin Default pulldown menu.
  12. Hey, how about adding more color options for the text in the shout box. I would like to see purple added.
  13. Hello MarkyMark and welcome from Mich, in Michigan, USA. So you already have a site @Xisto. How about the url so we can take a look-see? You are into music. I minored in music in college, instrumental, and love all kinds of music except for that twangy, fiddle accompanied country and bluegrass. 14. I ran across this in Reader's Digest and thought it worthy of placing up here for everybody in the Counceling, Advice, Support forums.
  15. Bump to get more voting. Wow, look at all the wonderful entries. I would vote for Avalon if I could vote.
  16. Wow, what a wonderful, unexpected reward. Thank you so much. I have taken care of this. Sorry, I hadn't noticed the typo myself.

  18. Ah, Yes, I love these little gems. Takes a lot of mathmatical logic and power of deduction to figure them out. I can complete one in about 45 mins. Then I have to wait until the next issue to find if I am right. So far haven't gone wrong with one, brag, brag.
  19. Well, boo hoo, that's no good. Thanx for the reply, at least. Guess I will have to shop around for a ttf copy.
  20. Gee, thanx for the recognition you guys. It is greatly appreciated. I think OpaQue is considering whether or not to use the winner for an ad on Domains.Computinghost.com. That would be an honor in itself.
  21. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. Here is you cake. and here is your quarter
  22. Hmm, it may be standard in more recent Windows than 98, which I am using, but I don't seem to have it on my puter. I can only find it "for sale" on-line. Could you zip me a copy in ttf ? It would be appreciated.
  23. Very nice. Like the colors, blending and texture effect. Text font is very nice. What is it? Would like a copy if it is a ttf. Like the lighting effect as well. You did yourself proud in my book. I couldn't do that in 10 mins.
