  1. This "condition" has nothing to do with being straight or not. It is the same as having something go wrong in the embryo developement to cause blindness, cerebral palsy, hemophilia, spina bifida, etc. It would be wonderful if these things never occured, but reality shows us that they do. If this split of brain and body developement happens in utero, how can one just "get on with life". One has to deal with the disablities that they have been dealt. They seek relief from their disablities with modern medicine. If, in fact, this condition is a developement in the embryo, nature has created a female brain in a male body or a male brain in a female body. It is as correctable as any other disability that modern medicine can deal with.
  2. Hello hh89 and welcome from Mich, in Michigan, USA. If you haven't read the Trap 17 Forum Rules, please do so. They are important to keep this forum up and running. You have come to the right place. Trap 17 will meet your needs no matter what they are. Everybody here is helpful and friendly, so questions and problems never go unsolved. Keep posting threads with lots of content like this one and you will have hosting in no time at all. I am not into boxing, but oh well, variety makes the world go round. I too had hosting problems with a previous host. They just went poof from the www. Haven't got a clue why. There was no forum posting requirement, so it took a while to become accustomed to this forum thing. Anyway, I have been happy with my hosting and the forum here since I signed on in uh January I believe. Good Luck with your proposed site.
  3. Now we have taken on AT&T. Over a month ago we received a postcard notice from AT&T that they were going to change our long distance plan. The plan we were enrolled in was no longer available. The plan we were enrolled in only charged us a fee IF we used long distance. Now they intended to charge us a flat fee of $5.00 per month whether or not we used long distance and an additional fee if we used more time than the $5.00 covered. We called and told them we no longer wished to have them carry our long distance service as we don't use it and didn't need to be paying $5.00 a month for services we don't use. Surprise, they said there would be a $20.00 fee to remove them as our carrier. My husband told them, "That is ridiculous and I won't pay it." He was told that he would be billed for it, when he received the bill to call and the charge would be removed from our account. We got our June bill and sure enough the charge was on it. He called, and was told it would be credited. They gave him the corrected balance due to pay, which he did. Today the July bill came with a notice that there is $20.00 plus taxes overdue on the bill, would we see to it that it is paid immediately. So he had to call again. He explained, again, that he wouldn't have a problem with a setup fee if he were adding AT&T as a carrier, but no way should they be charging a fee to have AT&T removed. He was again assured the account would be credited and given a corrected balance to pay. He has sent off the payment. Check back next month and I will let you know if things have been taken care of. You know, I have vented before about BMG Music, National City Bank and MBNA America. Now I have added AT&T to my list of ineffeciently run large corporations. I don't understand how these companies can continually employ people who don't or won't do their jobs. There must be an enormous personnel turnover at these places. Or do they just ignore the ineffeciency? Or even care?
  4. Hello antu and welcome from an elder on the Trap 17 forum. I am in Michigan, USA. Sounds like we have similar taste in music. I like soft blues, jazz and pop the best. I am not a movie goer tho. You have found the right place for free no-ad web hosting. Trap 17 is very reliable and everybody here is helpful and friendly. Just read and follow all the rules; and you should have hosting in not time. BTW, your introduction is quite good, keep up the informative posting. Good Luck!

  6. Hello toykoldkilla and welcome from an elder on the Trap 17 forum. Glad you found us. Trap 17's forum is very friendly and helpful. There are always lots of interesting topics to explore and add to. Some of the debates get rather lively at times. But if you and everybody follow the rules, it can be a very informative exchange of ideas on an on-going basis. Have fun and post lots of stimulating subjects.
  7. Hello shahhitesh10 and welcome from an elder on the Trap 17 forum. Glad to have new members like you. I am retired and living in Michigan, USA. We have lots of Indians in our neck of the woods. Native American; that is. Trap 17 is very reliable. The members here are all very friendly and helpful. And as mayank says, a weblog is the ideal way to start a site. If you need any help with graphics for your site or maybe some simple coding, feel free to ask. And if I can help, be in touch. I have a web graphics design site. Take a look sometime and maybe you might like something I have up there. Good luck on getting hosted. Keep up the good content posts and you will have hosting in no time at all.
  8. Hello Shadow Knight and welcome from an elder on the Trap 17 forum. I am in Michigan, USA; retired; and have my own dot com hosted by Trap 17. I consider myself an amateur graphics designer, know enough coding to operate my site and help a few others. This is my hobby, so everything I do is gratis. Nice intro. So many people just say HI. You have found the right place for your talents. Hosting here is very reliable and the members are friendly and helpful. Keep up the good content in your posts.
  9. As a parent of a once teenaged girl, I think the obvious thing here is that her parents are trying to get her away from you. She is well uh, 16 maybe and you are ___? Yes, I know that you and she think that you have the solution to all possible problems. Well, heads up. Your problems would just begin if she were to move in with you. This time of separation will either make or break your relationship. If your relationship is good, loving, caring and lasting, you have nothing to worry about. The distance will give you time to think more clearly about your future together. My goodness, with all the modern day communications available, you won't be any farther apart than your puter or cell. The time, believe it or not, will go by quicker than you think. Then you will have your whole lives ahead of you to be together. Good Luck! And do drive carefully running back and forth weekends.
  10. Very good, OpaQue. It reads like a turorial on how to live your life to the fullest and get the most potential out of yourself. Thanks for sharing.
  11. I agree! Where did this one come from anyway? Amusing and interesting to read all those descriptions. So, I guess I will add mine. We have 2 staircases in our home. The first is 3 steps up to the front entry and another into the house. The other is a combo set. 1 step up from the garage, turn to the left and 4 steps up to the house (kitchen) OR continue straight down 8 steps into the basement. It turns like yours Jimmy, but I don't believe anybody has ever walked into the wall. However, it does bother me sometimes when the basement door is open and I am carrying groceries into the house. The platform there is only 3ftx3ft and a close clearance to the first basement step. My husband did make a mistep off the bottom step in the basement, fell and broke his hip on the concrete floor. Result: hip replacement at a very early age, ugh. His mother (the previous owner of the house) made a mistep at the top of the kitchen exit and broke her ankle. So far I have faired well and managed to remain unscathed by the staircases. Maybe it is because I have always been very careful to use the banisters and count the steps to make sure I have reached the top or the bottom. I agree elevators would be nifty, but not everybody can affort such luxury.
  12. Well it certainly doesn't meet the size requirement, but I don't have any say about qualifying or not. Anyway, here is my entry. Here is the original. Somebody let me know if it isn't a qualifing entry in enough time for me to correct it by Saturday. It would seem to me to meet all the requirements.
  13. Same goes for the text on this one, try a 1 pixel hard drop shadow either direction and it will probably set the text off better. I see now that the effect I thought looked like a splice in the other sig is really and effect; brush, filter, etc.
  14. Very nice. Don't you just love that Scriptina font? I used it on my personal homepage site. marcusthacker is right, it does need to stand out a little more. Perhaps as dark 1 pixel hard drop shadow up to the left rather than down to the right might help. Also, did you intend for there to be a difference in the white color behind it that creates a definite line across just below the left bustline? It almost looks like a splice. All else aside, it is very well done for something out of nowhere. After looking at your other sig, I see now that the effect I thought looked like a splice in this sig is really and effect; brush, filter, etc. Sorry.
  15. HURRAH! Congratulations to Trap 17 and all those previously mentioned people who keep it going strong. Pass the word, members, and we will hit the 30,000 mark even swifter than the last 10,000 joined.
  16. Very nice tag/sig if I do say so. For such a short experience, you have a genuine talent. Now, I am not as expert as most on the forum, but you might get a difference of oppinion from those more versed on this subject. Some pay a very close attention to detail, but I seem to look at the overall picture. This one is cute, I like the color blends and the render is well placed in relation to the "Vengeance is Sweet" text. I do wonder if there is some text in the lower left corner that just isn't coming through?
  17. I am oh-so-tired of "Whatever!" Seems like any time somebody disagrees with what you are saying and they don't have a legitimate arguement to support their position they resort to this one. It is better than any of the comebacks containing the F word in my oppinion. However it doesn't sound too intelligent to me when I hear it. And if you don't agree with me, Whatever!

Hello Emmz and welcome from an elder on the Trap 17 forum. It would appear you have read the rules so no more repeating them from me. My husband's father (now deceased) was born in Sweden. His family name is Larsson. I think everybody on this forum "got hooked on gfx" Everybody here is very friendly and helpful. You will be glad you joined us. Peace right back at you. This world could use some really soon.
  19. Hello pandacakes and welcome from an elder on the Trap 17 forum. Cute handle. You have made the right move coming to Trap 17 for hosting. It is very reliable and everybody here is helpful and friendly. Keep your good content posts coming and you will have hosting in not time. Just remember to read and follow the rules. BTW, what is your proposed site theme/subject?
  20. How to make a proper introduction to Xisto forum members. FIRST OF ALL READ THE TRAP 17 FORUM RULES AND REGULATIONS Basic Rules In-depth Regulations Trap 17 has these rules and regulations to maintain some kind of order in this chaotic world; to keep the forum refreshing and informative, uncluttered by useless, redundant chatter. PLEASE follow them. After all this is all for FREE and keeps Trap 17 up and running. Who are you? (You needn't use your legal name, but give us something to call you that is an indicator of your being.) Where are you? ( Not necessarily specific as an address, but at least a city, state, or country.) What brought you to Trap 17? (Did you find us through a search engine, a referal, or did you just stumble on us surfing the net?) What would you like to accomplish at Trap 17? (Are you here for earning free hosting or just to cruise around the forum?) If you are here for hosting, what is the theme or subject of your proposed site? What are your interests and hobbies? You might add a brief description that indicates your personality traits. (Occupation/student/retired, educational background, how you feel about yourself and what you like most about these things.)

    Hi! Im Bee1793

Hello bee1793 and welcome from an elder on the Trap 17 forum. Say, glad you found us through Google, but just what are you looking for? What is the purpose of your signing on here? Tell us some more about yourself, like what are you interests, who you are and where you are. I am in Michigan, USA.
  22. You didn't say no text, but SM's original requirements do. I just don't want to go to a lot of work and get disqualified again.
  23. OK, here is my offering anyway since you never replied.
  24. OK, some more questions. Can the brushing effect only be around the comic render or can it be within it? When you say no text, does that mean no text at all or no additional text; as most strips include text? When does this SOTW entry time end?
  25. There are only 2 packages offered. You only need to upgrade, if you apply for the basic package and then want more space. Otherwise, you post, earn credits and buy the larger package to begin with. All the answers you need are at: http://forums.xisto.com/index.php?act&CODE=01&HID=18 Happy reading.
