And if the tires are out of round causing a slight lift off the pavement, it feels that way too soon. I need new tires, so I haven't tried getting up much over 80mph. Wow are vette parts expensive. Especially tires!!!!

Mine only has a 305 and yes it is full fiberglass body construction. My daughter and son-in-law, who restore and show cars, are the only ones that have blown it out. They say it can really move. Hmm, just because you have heard she likes you, doesn't mean she likes you as a boyfriend or date. I would suspect she really does have a boyfriend. She may just like you as a school friend, if you get my gist. When I was going with a special boyfriend, I chummed around school with guys I liked. Liking them was at a different level than the deep caring I had for my boyfriend. If you heard she likes you, then you could probably keep an ear open for indications that she really does have a boyfriend. If she does, she will certainly talk about him to her girlfriends and this would also get back to you. Good Luck!

I agree with what Bkag has said. However, if things don't get back to 'the way it was' after a reasonable length of time, you should move on. If you don't you will only be being USED for babysitting and helping with the bills. If she really only wants to be friends, then you can be friends from another residence. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I'll bet she missed the absence of her babysitter and the money help. With you gone her night life was interupted. It really galls me when stores start putting out the Christmas stuff before Halloween. What about Thanksgiving? It is a forgotten holiday. I guess because people don't give gifts on Thanksgiving. The reason for each holiday has been lost in the fanaticism of sales. For goodness sake, as soon as Christmas is over the Valentines and Easter products will hit the shelves. In our travels we have already seen Christmas trees in peoples windows. I love Christmas, but it is a season, not the last quarter of the year. Some people seem to leave their Christmas lights up year round and only light them during the season. Seems as if holidays, like sports, have all run together. There is no delineation between them anymore.

This is my 500th post so I thought I would make it count. I have only been with Trap 17 since January 2006. I cannot believe that this forum is comprised of so many helpful, friendly people. Nor that Trap 17 offers so much for so many. My Trap 17 hosted site has been up and running every time I have been on line. If there has been any down time, I certainly didn't catch it. The traffic to my site has been more than I can handle at times. People are making special requests for my web set designs. How refreshing to read all these posts that show no prejudice. It depends on wether or not a 'person' can do a job, not what sex they are. I do have to point out that there are some emotionally weak men as well as women. Finding an honest, capable person to do the job is hard these days. So many politicians have spent their entire lives in politics and have become corrupt along the way. It is really a shame that our government is so rife with corruption at all levels; local, state and federal. The honest ones have a hard time doing their jobs. Some even give up and leave politics out of disgust with the problem. In war times, like right now, we need a strong willed person who can handle things with diplomacy and tact. I wouldn't want the job, not that I am qualified, even. It is a thankless position that when elected to, people start taking pot-shots at immediately. I have noticed that some people seem to relish tearing down the elected officials at any cost. Kind of an elect them and run them out of office, attitude. I just hope the next president is HONEST regardless of who they are.
