  1. Shadow X, XBOX Linux is NOT written and definitely NOT endorsed by Microsoft. When did Microsoft ever support Linux?xboxrulz
  2. guy, there is NO LINUX KERNEL COMPANY because LINUX ISN'T OWNED BY ANYONE. Linus Torvalds just hold the trademark because he was the original user of the word.Putting Linux on XBOX is NOT illegal. There wasn't any TOS or whatever to use the XBOX. You just void your warranty and don't get any support.xboxrulz
  3. like SuSE, Debian's core is also bloated, because the kernel wasn't built for very slow machines.xboxrulz

  5. good luck on that, I wish to go for Novell, or some company that emphasizes Linux or I want to work with a company that make games for other OSes too and not just for Windows (not interested in Windows anyways)xboxrulz
  6. yup, that could work too. I'm more a Linux user, so I don't really know my way around the registry section.xboxrulz
  7. I think it also moves every internet exploder (explorer) related files over....xboxrulz
  8. ArmTheMob, I can just tell you that there are more proof of the big bang theory than God, others may argue, but the point here I'm telling you, is that no matter how the universe is actually created, there was a bang or several bangs anyways. It has been proven that there are "pure" hydrogen solar systems found on the edge of the solar system (the oldest stars ever), in order to get that, it must of came from a gigantic ball of hydrogen that blew itself up. Which, in the Big Bang Theory, stated that the most primitive element, which is hydrogen, exploded cause a big bang and the smaller pieces of the elements fused together and created the first solar systems, galaxy and etc. That's why our solar system has pieces of hydrogen to fuel our sun.xboxrulz
  9. Cassandra, the point of the account system so that only administrators can see and do everything. If you want both favourite to be seen, try saving it to the regular account's favourite.xboxrulz
  10. It is a very bloated operating system (I'm not being biased here), it features the new Aero Desktop Environment an is different from the WIN32 Desktop Environment. It reduces performance of OpenGL on purpose to control the market (true fact).xboxrulz
  11. I say that Apple should stick to the PPC architectures, as specially the laptops, because the PPC was designed to be an energy saving performance powerhouse. With the switch to Intel chips, the energy consumption skyrockets and you don't get a better performance.xboxrulz
  12. I'm a secondary (high) school student in Toronto, Canada. I still have 2 more years to make it to university (not counting this year). I'm trying to Major in the Computer field and minor Astronomy.xboxrulz

  14. wow, Microsoft is lagging in teen speak, when it comes to13375P34K. It's because most of us teens no longer use 13375p34k because it's very inconvenient.I rarely use 13375p34k myself. Yet, I use words derived from 13375p34k like pwned! w00t! noob and such.I use more things like lol, lmao, brb, afk, and such.Microsoft seriously need to update their kidtalk because most teens no longer use 13375p34k.xboxrulz
  15. yes I have read, I just forgot to put that you can search through the Fedora Forum for information. Their forum is pretty good: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  16. guy, haven't you heard on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights? It states that "All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights". Which means that everyone must have equal rights. If they don't we have to ensure that they do. So testing on death row prisoners would violate that.xboxrulz
  17. This truely sad for the people of Canada. First, Eaton's now this? * This article has been reformatted so it's not bloated. Source Your thoughts? xboxrulz
  18. Ok, this is disgusting to think that environmentalist will do. Source Your thoughts? xboxrulz
  19. Funny, because this technology isn't new, yet they do have a plan that hasn't been scrapped. The technology was actually derived from Avro Canada's invention. They were trying to get a car that using some else than wheels. They accidentally invented a car that uses elevation, like a car VTOL.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Company info:Avro Canada, was a subsidiary of Avro Inc. from Britain. Avro Canada was the inventor of the Avro Arrow that can still beat up the F-18. Avro Arrow was invented in the 1950s to respond to the Cold War. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------xboxrulz
  20. nice debate, I like this fury debate, yet I want to slip a REAL scenario. All of us know that in Christianity God or Jesus is all forgiving and such right? Ok, this is my experience for ever trying to believe in Christianity. In the beginning of October, this year; I needed a ride to my old school for a reunion, but the cab driver was a bit nut (as I thought, don't know if that's true or not), he tried to convert me to Christianity, had some good debates as I am an atheist (and no, atheism is NOT a religion, if it was, it will contradict and according to the Law of Contradiction [or whatever it was called] you can't have something that is and isn't at the same time). Yet, I eased up and tried this Christianity thingy, I felt like brainwashed though. I did the first prayer with accepting Jesus as my saviour or something. A week later, I had a negative effect, I did poorly on tests, got the flu, sleepy all the time, couldn't concentrate, my marks dipped a bit. So, I said that I'm ditching this because it seems like Atheism is the best and that I couldn't rely on this figure. I have to rely on my old believes that has been proven stable and prosperous.Ok, before people jump on me, I began to think there is this figure but it's one that I can't rely on. It's relying on a piece of paper as a bridge and crossing over it. Of course, it will break and you'll fall into the water. This is just my experience, and I'm still an atheist. Also, I'm not a Communist. Yet, some of my classmates think so because I'm Chinese.....xboxrulz
  21. Yes, Mandrake or now called Mandriva is very bad, it's sometimes perplexing. I, on the other hand have been stuck to SuSE Linux since version 9.0. Guy, from version 9.3 and up, SuSE is now free because it is licensed under the GPL. You can download it here: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ or you can buy the operating system for $59.99 CAD and it comes with non-commercial software. Plus, it gives you a massive documentation that is highly useful. So, you decide. O, plus, I never heard of a Hackers' Edition of any Windows version. Where's the 98 edition you've been talking about? xboxrulz
  22. I would recommend SuSE because it's free, it's built for professionals and noobs. It is better than *ubuntu on configuration, better than FC4 in performance and definitely better than Mandriva and/or Linspire.xboxrulz
  23. No, it's pretty safe. Also, getting your own computer would be easier. I do, so there's no conflict. Plus, it's really safe. Yet, you still got some chances that a cracker may come in and try to take over your computer. That's why I only run P2P software on my Linux partition. With SELinux and Novell AppArmor enabled.xboxrulz
  24. You may be running in the wrong Power Configuration on your power supply. If you're in North America, DO NOT SET IT TO 240V, set it to 110V, if you're in Europe, DO NOT SET IT TO 110V, SET IT TO 240v. In Asia, it's very dependent. To fix this, there's a read button, just move it side to side.Maybe this is why everything is blowing up. This is very unusual.xboxrulz
