well I for one can admit when it comes to writing or typing I suck at it. Hard to tell when to put this "," or this "." in the right spot of course I barely use ";" that I can't remember what its used for. To me if you give it the effort and take your time with it. then people will understand what you are saying.

the first one look better, its the scanbar that makes it hard to blend i suggest doing some filter tricks to spruce it up a bit.

mayank your holding out on us, hopefully i see a post of those links on trap as well. well it not much of a sig but of a logo its better to see it on a white background then on a blue one. since i wanted it to blend into the background of the site.

I would have either blended the render or do a special effect and the text looks ok I rather used the visitor font then anything else really IMO.

well besides the text its look pretty good for a grunge sig. colors look nice along with the tech brushes used in it as well.

Well I thought that site i gave a updated look to the site i thought i would wait to open it up fully loaded on the first. I pretty much Got the look I want without being to picking with browsers. But i did it to work in all 3 browsers though IE, FF and opera. Mind you FF is the only browser that got the design right go figure when i designed it in IE thats right IE. Also the site is xhtml and css 100% valid as well. But i put up a new logo at a small scale to fit the browsers for the people at 800x600 but mind you its better at 1024x768 resolution. Well it looks better on the white background since i wanted to blended it in and not give it a border. The only real updates that I will be giving the site is when SOTW has a winner then I will post it on the site for the week. Since pretty much everything happens on the forum by of updates and other stuff. Plus I doubt not to many people will put it in their favorites folder anyways . plus here are our current stats for visitors to the site Start Date: 11/24/2005 Total pageviews: 485 Total visits: 52 Total visitors: 45 Pageviews today: 132 Visits today: 6 Visitors today: 5 Busiest day: 12/19/2005 (334) Busiest week: Week 51 2005 (482) Busiest month: 12/2005 (484) it should be better but since the lack of editing to the old site happen it could have been more. But also I am looking for a couple of people to help spread the word as in gfxtrap.com affiliation staff. Right now its me and Plenoptic basically your job is to add to the ever growing affiliates page with the 88x31 banners. and what not. so if you know of any large sites that do affiliation drop a line and the same goes with the the staff position as well. Just in Case Cerbral reponds it is added to the new site on my computer and will be seen in a few days. well thats it for now.

like i mentioned earlier the colors work well and this is the one sig that doesn't need any render blending at all.

interesting design. but one comment your render is pixelated to fix this when you resize make sure to click on the chain link icon so that all sides are equal.

i find a render that will work well and then find the brushes that match with it.

well what I would have done was put her on top with her hands right on the border then use a drop shadow on her to get some depth to it.also don't forget borders ebb borders are your friends.but i do like the color you used though nice.

yeah i edited the image to fit the width of the website to look uniform will be doing a new logo for that. but with the affiliates yeah that will be changed once i finish the edits to it it will be moved on to main folder of the site.

Sig 1: te background looks fine but the scanlines take away from it.Sig 2: i would have change the animation to a flame coming out of the pipes, but do like the image you put on the car though not bad. liek the background but not the text placement.

yeah its bad to hear about this kind of stuff and soon the vib swarm all over it, just today I guess another plane had problems that landed in boston.I would say thats it the weather but for florida i doubts that the case. since the plane was line old and most likly it was faulty/old wiring that did it in I guess.

well after reading the posts made here, it shames me to say this that destroying a young mind at an early age is just wrong, kids need imagination and santa clause is one of them, children don't have to worry about the commericalization of it they just enjoy the stories and the gifts they recieve and the fantasy of it, best thing parenst can do is let the fantasy run until the kids realizes it when they catch their parents putting the gifts under the tree or find them

dude the easy take your time and don't rush it let her decided for herself if she was some of the wassie , don't force it or you might ruin a friendship and then make a bad reputation of being a player and hustler then a actual swell guy.

well on top of mysqls you have to remeber other websites connect to it as well, so i would go through your logs to see who visits your site and mooches stuff off of it.

get to learning something everydat I guess, but yeah i don't know to may websites who rum forums to max out on space yet, but also you guys failed to mention that forums soak up alot of BW as well, meaning you have to keep on purchasing more of or suffer the wrath of the forum shutting down due to eating all the bw up.I know one website has over 1 million posts on it and hasn't had to many problems well of course it keeps shutting down on me when i try to get into it.But yeah best thing to do is be real strict on the posting, set the rules as need be and make sure everyoen follows them. Of course like it was mentioned that people like to archive their forums, professtional sites mostly. but if you got topics that are like 4 years old and people are still responding to them I think its time to delete some stuff.

had to focus my eyes for a second to see your design, its way to dark, but what twitch said you would have to some crazy effects to make it work just right. plus its to spread apart to look good either.Also I suggest that you make a header and footer as well to help seal it in a complete design as well.

all I have to say is moron and duuuh. but interesting story though.
