Trap17 Forum Board Version Upgraded to 2.1.4 As of February 3nd 2006 12:42am GMT

Recommended Posts

The new forum looks good and it does run a lot faster. I wonder if this is because the advertising is not installed yet? Really looking forward to the edit feature.

Very nice, can't wait for the new skin (if there is one). It works a bit better now. Loads faster. Good job OpaQue on upgrading everything, all works fine as I can see. Except I not sure about the emoticons in the shoutbox.

Afew suggestions though, can we have the reputation points back as well? And probably a forum shop where users can "purchase" with shop credits for, say example, signature request or avatar. Probably an exchange of shope credits for hosting credits may be possible as well. And also, maybe we can have our team of graphic designers to design and create a whole new set of template for this board dedicated to Xisto. That would make us all a sense of belonging here.

it does here, contact OpaQue about that eee.The new forum looks really nice i think . It has a bit more style. Its just way better for the eye. The only thing i hate... is that the moderators and the admins get those reports on our pm inbox again :). But Opaque is installing the report mod again . (Thanks for that Opaque). So, Y'all stay active on our improved forum :D

Well, first off, thank you for the upgrade... even if you're tired of hearing it - it does look very cool.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I did notice the following:

when I was browsing through this topic (How did you get GMail?). I'm sorry if I missed a official bug-tracker/problem-notifier thread. Just thought this was worth mentioning. My guess would be that it has something to do with the fact that the topic has an associated poll. Hope this isn't a serious problem :)

Anyway... great job on the boards, the credit mod, the hosting services and everything else  Keep at it and thank you very much again!

Yes, I can see. The logo is still the default logo of Invision Power Board. I don't know for some reason I couldn't post using FAST REPLy button. It just didn't work when I tried to reply. No form appear after clicking. For me, I like this default template or theme the most. It is quite comfortable with eyes and loading of pages are also quite okay. Upgrading to the latest version is always the best. But there could be bugs here and there which we will come to term with it.Congrats for upgrading it to the latest version.

I like it. The options and stuff are nice. But there is one problem. I can't see the shoutbox, and there is now last posted topics and last posts posts and the bottom of the screen. Which is where I find the best stuff to reply in and find stuff interesting. All there is now is similar topics which I can't reply to because some are years old which I hear you don't want us to bring back. That is the only probem with it. But nice on everything else.

The shoutbox was up earlier I think they are just making a few modifications of some sort. The most recent topics and stuff I think probably were thought to have taken up too much room and deleted or still are being customized, because now their is the feature of minimizing the boxes in case you don't want to see it and have it taking up too much room or for a faster loading time.

Okay I see. I guess I just don't like the fact that those bottom tables with all the recent topics and recent posts are gone. I keep going down there to look at them. So you imagine my frusteration when I go down there and find NOTHING! Just gets a little annoying. Hope you guys get it fixed. It does make the browsing experience a little less,..desirable.

well...earlyer today the forums was just a normal forum, maybe thas what your talking about wild20 there was nothing but the forums, nothing down below or above like normal... but now they are all back... so maybe it will make you happy now >_< but if your talking about the new stuff at the bottom with the latest post, and latest topic combined instead of different, personally i like it >_<neways >_< the chat box isn't up yet cant wait till it gets back up again must be down for updates heheonce again excelent job OpaQue
