same for me, i used to use those sticky paper notes long time ago, because i forget a lot . in work, about 4 years ago. i remember how my computer monitor is filled with those little yellow papers around it . after that when i get married i was always forget what we need from food, till my fridge become empty . so again the sticky notes or even any paper on the fridge is so useful to remember me of what i need.and till now, i use them and they work like charm for me. but i must say that the past few months i was so busy and i always i have a lot to do. so i tried to find another option but nothing worked for me, so returned again to the physical version of sticky notes. even i am now out of sticky paper notes and searching for more, but i use the calender as a substitution, i write all the appointments on it and the things i should do daily on it. but of course there is not enough place to write a lot, but better than nothing , right .

great words from a great person you just said what i am eager so hard to say since i read this thread, but i must say that i am chicken out and was afraid to blow up the fire mood of anwiii since i know that he is in a bad mood these days. and between i was tending to write the same after a couple of days or about when i know that he is in a good news to argue with . but when i read your words sheepdog, i couldn't stop myself from saying i agree with you TOTALLY. the first one i noticed here, and who was replying to my threads was anwiii. the first one who pissed my off here in this forums, was anwiii. the first one who i was afraid from his replies and his criticism even he was not a mod or admin was anwiii. the first one who became my friend was him. and coming here to Xisto and don't see him ???!!! oh god this is so unacceptable for me. AT all and i really hope he will change his mind or at least enter the forums once in a while. not leave the forum for good but if you decided to do so then i really respect your wish, even if i didn't like it. after all i know that everyone has his own limits. and i remember too he told me once that "he will still coming to this forums till it closed" but if he decided to leave it then that means he reaches his limits and we must understand and respect his wish. but i can't say that i can accept that right now, and i will still hoping he will think again about it and change his mind. and if he didn't, me and sheepdog can use or "evil side" (from the point of view of anwiii,each woman has an evil side) so we can use it and drag him back again and i assure you that i will have some women backups to represent the TRUE EVIL OF WOMEN .

thanks a lot to your reply. and i share you your opinion. and i will disable aksimet plugin, i know i want to do that long time ago. because even if others taking advantages of my site by taking backlink from my site. but i think it is ok, since i have fun reading all those comments either they were spam or not . i feel like i am more connected to my site than now. and i really think that if my site isn't well known better than before then i won't get spam any more . so, no more aksimet any more and thanks again anwiii.

hahaaa, you bani really made me laugh my friend this is really the most things that draw a smile on my face since a long time ago here ah not mention anwiii's words yesterday in his thread "how to seo" they made me laugh for a long time when he was talking too serious and suddenly he mentioned how we can use "the crappy server here to get a free domain and hosting " any way, maybe i didn't write what i want in good grammars, really sorry about that. my only excuse that i was so tired when i posted that and i would never fight with anwiii but i thought he needs a push here . and i really think it is nice to see someone around and argue with, better than entering the forums and see no one but me . this is sad, so sad actually and i hope things will be change soon or we will lost a lot of good friends and good members here. but how things could be change??? i really have no idea!!! as a member i will try to my best, and post whenever i will have a time, but how about the others??? how about the other members??? do they have a reason to do the same?? and why?? and how about the mods and admins?? could they save this place and turn it to what it used to be??? i really have no idea, but i will still do my best. hope it works in some how.

i just read this thread, and it is really hurt to read all that . i joined this place about a year ago, and i got a lot from here, i got friends, knowledge, help whenever i need and both my sites are built after i joined here. this place means a lot to me, the members and people around too. and it is really sad to read all that even when i know that every word is true. for me i will still come and go, to post and do my best to participate, but unfortunately the last two months i was not active as usual, because i have a new life to build now, and a lot to be done. i hope i can do more and be active more, but sorry to say i can't. i will hope things will be change for the best for this new year from all my heart.

thanks a lot sonesay, you wrote a lot of useful advices here, i am really appreciated. i am trying to take things easy, and step by step. i already have my own portfolio, but it still under test, i will try to to what yo mentioned about adding more to it to show my skills. also, and unfortunately tried before to separates myself from being a designer and developer in one time. but i couldn't . when i work with codes i won't accept adding only colors for my design or accept anything so i switch to making designs. in the same time i am so obsessed in codes, i want to know every page how it has been done. so it is tough but i can't help it. any way, i will try to follow your steps and never give up thanks again.

ok i fixed it and found the solutions, hope it will be useful for everyone - open your httpd.config file from open C:> xampp>apache>config>httpd.config and search for those lines # Change this to Listen on specific IP addresses as shown below to # prevent Apache from glomming onto all bound IP addresses.##Listen 0.0.0.0:80#Listen [::]:80Listen 80 change the port from 80 to 85 for example and save the changes. - open the httpd-ssl.config file from :> xampp>apache>config>extra>httpd-ssl.config and search for those lines # When we also provide SSL we have to listen to the # standard HTTP port (see above) and to the HTTPS port## Note: Configurations that use IPv6 but not IPv4-mapped addresses need two# Listen directives: "Listen [::]:443" and "Listen 0.0.0.0:443"##Listen 0.0.0.0:443#Listen [::]:443Listen 443 And change it to 445 for example and save. - search for those lines # General setup for the virtual host DocumentRoot "C:/xampp/htdocs" ServerName localhost:443 And change 443 to 445 and save. that's it. restart xampp, and be sure to type the path for your htdocs folder in the browser not localhost because you are using another port now.

thanks for your reply Iniyila, i will try what you suggested. even it is a pain to change all that using the editor. but i should do that since i don't have another choice , i need both of them on my pc right now. so i will try and see.

yeah it is weird how forums work fine in every browser except firefox. i even couldn't enter the chat room in firefox. and it is sad to face such a problem right now because the forums are hardly active the last few months. i really hope things will change soon. thanks for your reply guys.

yeah reformatting is the best option now. and i suggest you not only to reformat but to choose the full format option not the quick format option. full format is recommended when you have a strong virus. it will check everything more precisely more than the quick format. i don't know about vista but i have this option in windows xp pro and i am sure there is a similar one in vista too.after you done installation, try to make a full computer scan for all other drivers in case the virus spread in other folder. and do the same for any external hard or flash you had used when your system was infected. good luck.

i have APACHE installed on my pc, it is a free package from XAMPP. i use it to test the updates in my sites locally because all of them are using PHP and MYSQL. so it is obviously using the port 80.the problem began after i installed "microsoft visual web developer 2010 express" it has a built in server working with it like IIS. and since then when i try to open XAMPP but it is not working of course because "microsoft visual web developer 2010 express" is using the port 80 now. so i tried to change the port in http.config in apache to 8080, restarted apache, but still not working from the XAMPP control panal. even i tried to open it from bin folder but still get the error page when i try to access localhost. i am not sure if i am accessing the localhost in the right way or not, i tried writing the new port but it didn't work for me http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ so what should i write in the browser now to open localhost using port 8080??
