  1. Nice sig Saint Michael, what is the render from? I wanted to do something unique so i made this sig (i hope you like it!)
  2. It could also be the air pressure that is upseting him. When there is a storm coming the air pressure changes, and that could be affecting him. There are calming medications that you can get at a pet store, and you can also try using dryer sheets! Sometimes it isn’t the thunder that gets them fearful, it is the static in the air, and rubbing their fur with dryer sheets takes care of the static. It works sometimes on my dog. There are also music tapes/Cd’s that can sooth your dog. Or you can just let her hide and wait it out. I have tried them all on my little Tzu, sometimes one will work, sometimes another will work.. I can tell you this, from the advice of a professional trainer, do not give her more attention when she is shaking and panting. That just confirms to her that it is acceptable behavior, and she will keep doing it to get your attention. If I know there is a bag storm coming I take my dog for a extra long walk just to wear him out! Then we play and give treats during the worst of the storm. Dont give the treats/rewards when the dog is shaking and scared, but when he’s </a>playing and having a good time. My dog is a huge ham for company. My neighbor comes over when the lights go out sometimes and it’s a good distraction for my dog. He wants her undivided attention and soon forgets about the storm outside. So I guess my advice would be just to distract your dog how ever you can. And definitely not Cesar, remember you are the pack leader!
  3. In the website designing world, people HAVE to design ALL their websites so that they work in internet explorer , as most of the appealing market use the 'old' internet explorer. But now they have introduced the compatibility option You can also clean the viruses using a good antivirus, dont blame IE or Microsoft.
  4. If you use the promote button, your searches are remembered. Fine, but every time you try to see if your page ranking has increased, you will find your materials at the top of the pile, and the offenders having been removed. You are no longer rooted in reality. ALTHOUGH, the Wiki search has this function, and notes if you are the first to make the choice, so obviously, they are paying attentionI dont think it will be good if google keep this feature for per user basis. It would be better if certain percentage of ranking decide by public. Now a days it is not possible to obtain bulk ads clicks from narrow ips and hence google wont allow in this case. Currently, the promote and remove buttons are per-user: theyre not really a tool or a web-wide Hot or Not tool. Theyre just a way to organize your search results. But in the world of SEO, if theres a way to exploit this feature, it will be done. Its early yet, so time will tell, but my bet is this remaining in its current per-user form: it better. I must say it is nice to see your site at the top. Even if it only on your own search page. Zagubadu, You must login to google to see promote button and when you log out all your promoted sites disappear. until you log back in. They also look like the following : And also how do you know that this forum is not active, not meaning to be rude , but come on , you are barely here for a few days. I mean even i am new, only here for like a month, i think. Thats all.
  5. If you hadn't found out about Firefox 3.6 and you are using Firefox , then you should seriously turn your updates on, trust me it keeps the computer safe. Also, 'Persona' is not a theme as Mozilla puts it it is After you install Personas , a button will appear in the left corner , which you can choose your Persona skin, it downloads and installs in under a second. Opera is also designing a built-in plug-in that it is similar(its actually not similar, its a copycat ) to Persona. If you are going to get Persona than try 'Japaneses Tattoo'.
  6. I'm also gald that i found Xisto, i guess it found me lol. I came across the site while looking for 'who is go daddy?' back in 07' . Before I came into the 'Web designing' hobby and such after being a hardcore gamer for years. You should rather find a good free host (just so you know, you're currently in one) than use freewebs, in my opinion. Also, I suggest that you should use co.nr rather than co.cc for dns or domain forwarding.
  7. It does redirect! Thats weird , i think that website could have bought by a google employee or something... or some guy who got a domain but didn't use it for some reason and made it redirect to google , just cuz....Lol, i discovered that you can go to google.com faster if you type loser.com.
  8. The magician got so mad he pulled his hare out. I used to be a tap dancer until I fell in the sink. If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends? I keep reading 'The Lord of the Rings' over and over. I guess it's just force of hobbit. The raisin wined about how he couldn't achieve grapeness. My boyfriend and I started to date after he backed his car into mine. We met by accident. I've made up my mind to re-lay my lawn. It was a turf decision. Heres one for the way out: Why was the Energizer Bunny arrested? He was charged with battery.
  9. In the Interstate 101 near the LAX (los angeles airport) you can practically stand like 20 - 30 feet*im ridiculously guessing* or something below the plane! You can probably hit the plane with a ball , if you can throw plane (OMG what i am thinking? im sick )Its awesomely huge and its also scary lol It takes like 1 hour to go there from Central LA. You should probably check it out.
  10. Wow...that's truly awesome, duudddee. I never knew it looked like that! Just wondering, is it really real? i mean it has it to be, but wow? I have seen the flight emergency land on the Hudson River a year ago. It's pretty scary. It looked like this pic(except the plane was on fire and it was huge) , except i run away when it got too close (what was i supposed to do, i was a tourist!)
  11. I would glad text that number, even if it will cost me more, cause i don't temporary live in US. So its got to be a international text. It would be a cool thing if Skype worked! I have huge bucks on Skype, i could probably text 2 times and tell my family and relatives to text too! God i hope they make it through this disaster...
  12. I haven't been getting those but you can go to your e-mail settings and then add that to your spam list. Just don't follow what they saw.
  13. I'm curious, how would we best harvest the diffuse water formed daily on the moon? You could have like a few acre wide field with a cat box like scraper that scoops up the top inch or two for heating and extraction. Would the soil get 'used up' or can it be sprinkled back out?
  14. Jon Bentley described a similar case from more than 20 years ago; its included in his compilation of ACM columns "Programming Pearls". In that case, the journey was in California, from one national research lab to another. The pigeon won there, too - not a huge suprise given that the link was something like a modem running at 9.6kbits/sec. Of course, the amount of info the pigeon can carry is entirely dependent on the sort of technology it's carrying.A decade or two ago it would have to carry a 3.5" HD just to transfer a few hundred megabytes.I love the ISPs response, "Telkom said it was not responsible for the firm's slow internet speeds". Why would they have anything to do with data transmission speeds across their lines? Hackers, put down the keyboard and put out some sunflower seeds.
  15. How many idiot companies are going to have to get hacked before they upgrade to a browser that?s up to date? Geez, IE6 still? Come on?no excuse. am not surprised.. lol IE sux! and MS was giggling on google for the attack hahahaha
  16. Another interesting topic on the same string of prisons is the ultimate debate: Should there be death penalty or not? In the UK the criminals get a much better deal than their victims do. A group of thugs who decide to kick somebody half to death can consider themselves "really unlucky" to get caught, "very surprised" that it gets to trial and "dumbfounded" if they are actually convicted. Perhaps we should give the criminals taxpayers money to try and persuade them not to commit crimes and give them luxury cars and houses to make them happier. All my life I have thought that certain crimes should carry the death sentence. However in the UK we have policemen that have knowingly withheld evidence, which had it been divulged to the Court would clearly cause the release of the alleged offender. In failing to give such evidence to the Courts, many innocent men have been convicted. Clearly it would be outrageous for the death penalty to be enforced in this country. What do you think of the punishment system in your country? Is the death penalty an inhumane and cruel punishment or do you think it is a necessary crime deterrent? Are the risks of executing the innocent too great or do you have confidence in the capital punishment system?
  17. If you have your own products or services, and you want to sell and run your own small business, then the first option would probably be your best bet. Youll need to select a catchy, easy-to-remember domain name for your website. Keep it short, simple, and to the point, but at the same time, make it interesting. The more simple yet interesting you make your URL, the more money you can make on the internet. The another way you can make money on the internet is by selling on eBay. In case you havent noticed, almost everything is sold on eBay these days. You can either establish a good relationship with a wholesale and dropshipping service, or you can stock up on flea market and garage sale items. Some are even making tons of money on the internet by buying foreclosed homes at cheap prices and then reselling them for twice as much on eBay.
  18. I have a copy of a Newsweek article warning about ominous climate changes which could result in species extinction, starvation, food riots, etc. The article tells of NOAA scientists concerned that elected officials wont take any positive action to compensate for this change in Earths climate. The last sentence in the article warns, The longer the planners delay, the more difficult will they find it to cope with climatic change once the grim results become reality. This article was published April 28, 1975 and was warning about global cooling and an impending ice age. For a good giggle on this topic, read Fallen Angels by Niven, Pournelle, and Flynn. Although this was written a while back, the topic is interestingly relevant: the greens take power in the US, cut down air pollution and CO2 emissions and surprise, AGW turned out to be the only thing holding us back from the next ice age.
  19. It would take a couple of weeks to make a quality site in Call Of Duty for personal or clan use. Instead of that you can go to a website like MonsterTemplates and get a nice lookin' one for like 30 bucks, i say its worth it, but if you want to do it the way you want, than i say you ask help from the ClanTemplates Forum. (Google IT!)
  20. Magic deals with illusions and witchcraft is a personified culture (cult). "Magnetism" -- it is a "natural" occurrence once comprehended and practiced.I believe in magic. I've actually seen it happen or felt it and it was very real. We have become modernized, and what we practiced for centuries has been deemed demonic for the purpose of perpetuating mainstream religion and science as opposed to everything coinciding with each other. Evil exists and when you invite it in your life then yes you play with fire. Satan is very much alive and when you mess with him he will mess with you right back but he plays for keeps. I also believe in magic as a force beyond human comprehension, something that can't be explain, that surround us and that sometimes is positive but sometimes it can be negative. I don't know what kind of magic you are talking about. P.S. I also believe in Harry Potter lol.
  21. I find this story to be pretty Ironic considering Google has been activley censoring searches for Americans on one of the most serious issues to come to light in recent days, "Climategate". It seems that Google has been systematically going through the search results and are providing less and less options. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ I love the comparison of these two pages. https://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Web%cbd01&hl=en https://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Web%1&hl=en%23all The first link shows the official "Best Answer" which 11 of 79 people found helpfull, but when you expand all of the comments you see the real story. Notice how all of the other posts were more helpfull, approximately 19 of 20 people. "Posted by ComplexNumbers at 1/12/2010 4:26 p.m. Google should be commended for standing up for freedom and liberty (the two commodities in such short supply these days) and not bowing to the "profit" motive that has so damaged the cause of human rights in the last twenty years since Ronald Reagan made it a religion." In response to this quote I liked the one persons comment about Googles 10 corporate philosophies: 6. You can make money without doing evil. Our users trust our objectivity and no short-term gain could ever justify breaching that trust. Let's not forget that both of the founders of Google have invested HUNDREDS of MILLIONS of Dollars on "Green Technology Companies". Let's also remember that Al Gore used to be a special consultant to Google, and owns a large portion of their stock. Censoring information about scientific fraud, to push an agenda that will make you even more insanely rich, but has resulted in millions of people dieing of hunger is evil. They do not care that they caused hunger and kill people by causing millions of acres of farm land to be removed from food production to grow bio fuels because hey, who cares if the information/theory is correct, they are environmentalists and they believe all people are evil. Needless to say, after reading about Google's actions on this mater I will never willingly use their search engine again.
  22. Lol...I could just picture a thief in mind who is in your house to get some few hundred bucks but ends up finding your 24-karat ps3.
  23. I just made a sig using Adobe Photoshop CS3. I picked a skater as i love to skate and ride my BMX. Reply all you commenters, critics , anyone?
  24. 10 days of waiting and no results It's a ways a tie , everytime i look! I wanna start the next SOTW! c'mon people, don't just view , VOTE!
  25. A lot of people figure the more traffic they get, the better chance of getting sales or readers. It's just my opinion, but I would say it's because they don't really know what they want. Raw traffic is about a worthless as fools gold and does nothing in most cases beyond wasting bandwidth. It's readers and associates I want in as little traffic as I can get. it all depends on what they are advertising. Some site will pay you for each visitor but I think it is mostly being able to get a lot of people to see your site and hope they like it and will click on it and then find something and make a purchase.
