1. I see. Well, if mine gets chosen, i'll edit the image so that it works like that.
2. Here's my go at it (click on image for original size): Not sure what you meant by:
3. You're kidding, right? This topic was never a "theory" or an "innovation". It was a debate from the start, since it's a question. If it was where it used to be, you would not have asked if it were possible, but rather you, personally, would have provided a way of how it could be. BuffaloHELP explained many times the difference between a debate topic and a theory/innovation/etc topic.
You know, stating that thing about Bush is actually agreeing with the quote from Franz see. You know it's for money and power--not a religious reason. Then you say, Bush said such-and-such, which makes it an excuse. Thus, it is not religion's fault, but the people within it. But you know, Wikipedia has a list of wars. If you want, you can go through all of them, and tell us how many wars are recorded, and compare that to the number of wars that have been started by religious groups. Then you can state whether or not most (more than half) wars were started by religious groups.
4. Ok, let me get this straight... Everyday you got a... Not stating these reasons, for it was either unknown, or it... Though, over time... Apparently, you came up with the conclusion, on your own, that all of this was a bad thing. Although, you did not mention how you came up with it, you gave the impression that you brought in your own religion into this in order to form this conclusion. Now, it has been stated that Christians don't always say these things as a negative. In fact, if i'm not mistaken, "God Bless (you)" is always in a positive manner. It is like saying, "I hope the rest of your life goes well". Now, i understand "I will pray for you" can go either way, but there is no evidence that shows that it is in the negative. Since the other phrase ("God bless [you]") is in a positive sense, i can only conclude that "I will pray for you" is also in a positive sense. Because of lack of evidence, i must agree with those that have stated that you're taking this as a bad thing, when it appears to be a good thing. These Christians--when they say such things as "God bless"--are in no way pushing their religion upon you.
5. These are my personal favorites: MetalBB Daj_Glass Xand MetalBB would look better if it was centered, IMO. Out of them all, Daj_Glass would be number 1 in my book. I like the style, and it's professional looking.
6. For freelance it depends on how well you make yourself known, and how much you charge at the same time. Truly, some people charge more than they should be, which gets them a higher income. And as for a steady job, it depends on the company.
7. Ok. Here's the logo you requested: Here's the banner with text (click on it for actual size): Here's it without text (click on it for actual size) just in case you wanna add something else to that part; like a part of a script that checks to see if someone is logged into your forums:
8. So you're saying, the baby chose to start-up its own heart, and is responsible for starting it? But since when weren't we responsible for our own actions? The Bible and the Qur'an also teaches us that we are responsible for our own actions.
9. Exactly! Put some perspective into the text so that it goes well with the front part of the hat. And maybe add some more light to the sig. Get that detail out in the visible.
10. Here you go. I hope it's near to what you wanted.
11. If you want free hosting with no ads on your site, then posting isn't a big deal. Many people do it. But if you don't want to post, there's always Xisto.net.
12. You should really cut down on both, if you're looking to prevent kidney stones. Here's something i found while reading about kidney stones: I think i read something, somewhere, that kidney stones is generally common between the ages of 20 and 30. Another thing to take note of is to not go overboard with sodium and vitamin C intake. Too much of these two can cause kidney stones; though they can also cause other problems--which may be worse than kidney stones.
13. Here's my entry. First attempt was a failure. This one should do all right.
14. Although we can explain a lot, it's not enough to disprove God. Common sense isn't 100% reliable. Many people tell you, "use some common sense". But common sense is learned. It's not as common as one would think. You first require some knowledge in something inorder to produce common sense. Just like the five senses (touch, taste, smell, vision, and hearing) aren't 100% reliable, either. A person in the dark is equal to a blind person. You know the saying, "If it smells like it, tastes like it, feels like it, sounds like it, and looks like it, then it must be it"? Have you ever walked in the dark, with the surrounding area is unfamiliar to you, and try to determine what is around you? If you look within the Bible and the Qur'an you will find many scientific facts. These people knew about such facts, thousands of years ago. Not to sure how long ago science kicked in, but it probably wasn't too long ago, which makes you wonder: Have we become so dependant on technology that we have downgraded? And how did these people know about some of these scientific facts, if there wasn't any Divine interference? I've seen many things in science that would help people increase in faith. There is no answer to these questions--in science, that is. The only place to look for the answers to these questions would be either in the Bible or the Qur'an. I believe there is a God. I wouldn't say someone found Him--as in, made Him up. But rather found Him by Him making Himself known to them.
15. [1]This is debatable. Some believe that the Holy Spirit did not "defile" Mary, but rather God said "be", and Mary became pregnant (as it is stated in the Qur'an, and certain Apocrypha). [2]Not every denomination thinks alike/believes the exact same things. There are two subcategories that fall under the category "Christianity". These two subcategories are: "Trinitarianism" and "Non-Trinitarianism". Trinitarianism states: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit; however, they do not equal each other; example: the Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is not the Father. Some denominations state that Jesus is the reincarnation/manifestation of God. Non-Trinitarians don't believe that the Three are co-equal. They believe God is above all, and the others (The Holy Spirit and Jesus) are two different, seperate beings. [3]Such is also debatable. Some believe Christ was taken up beforehand (as it is stated in the Qur'an, and certain Apocrypha), but his body was the one that got crucified.
16. Atheism is a religion, no matter how one looks at it, since it falls under definition #6 for the word "religion" (straight from dictionary.com):
Jesus didn't claim to be God--maybe a god, or being one with God, but not God. Here's the main reason why they say that, one word: repentance. It is clearly stated throughout all Abrahamic religions that one must repent to God. Those who don't repent are destined to hell because they are not free of sin, and sin is the requirement to be sent to hell. Since one does not believe in God, they won't repent to Him. Repentance is just one requirement to enter Heaven. Another requirement that must be met is good deeds, in order to enter Heaven.
17. [1]The Bible is a combination of books, letters, poems, etc. Several of them were written by prophets. Others by disciples of Jesus, and the disciples of Jesus' disciples, etc.[2]Did you realise many of the things mentioned in the Qur'an relates to the Bible, and verifies it as true? In the Qur'an, it mentions that it would be wise to observe the Torah and the Gospel--both of which can be found in the Bible. [3]Paul is not our master. He never was to begin with. [4]Would you call claiming to be the Son of God, calling themselves Divine?
18. My vote goes to Avalon. I like the colors used, works well with the render. And very nice blending. The sig has a good flow.
19. God wouldn't need someone to do it. He can just tell the surroundings to do this, and they'll do it. But like sweet_princess said, the Last Day will be near by when pure evil and injustice covers the land. Though, i don't recall singing being evil, unless it's to conjure evil spirits (which this is probably what will be the case).
20. For a dial-up user, yes it would take quite some time to download it all, i estimate around 30 or so seconds. A broadband user would take under 5-10 seconds.
21. One would not truly believe in everything in the Bible, if they really believe in the Theory of Evolution. There's a good chance that they'd fully reject the Bible if they believed in the Theory of Evolution. There will always be a greater amount of people who don't follow theistic religions. Even the Bible tells you this. But how many people was this study based on, and on what society? I shall bring up the word "choice" to answer that question. We chose to devote ourselves to a certain religion. And we found it to be very good on our lives. Just like we choose to go fishing. Just like we choose to play/watch sports. Just like we choose to use computers. Etc... Some people are different, that's what makes us choose differently.
22. I'ma go with this one. Only cause the text is more "out there". The others, the text gives the sig an odd feeling to me. And for this one, it has a better balance than the others.
23. There is a border, only it's white. Not really made for this forum layout. But i would suggest adding a black border inside of that white border. Tis a nice sig, indeed. The text could have more of a 3d feel and the sig would be perfect. 8.6/10.
24. Oh, ok, i understand now. I thought you meant differently. Like, for example, someone extremely close to you can't get out of bed, cause they lost their legs or something, and you help them by getting them stuff they need to save them the effort. Glad you cleared things up.
