GFX Crew Application: tdktank59
truefusion replied to tdktank59's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Although, your sigs are good, i would, personally, prefer if you had more experience in at least one more area of graphics--like, templates, wallpapers, etc--not just sigs. -
Here's a quote that might be able to make more sense of this so-called paradox:
-
The thing is, when i inserted "javascript", it got outputted as "java script". Just remove the space inbetween. Must be a security feature for the forum.
-
Remove: ul.nest {display: none;}ul.main li:hover ul.nest {display: block;} from the CSS. Add: in the HEAD tag. and replace the previous list with this one:

Web Design

Reseller

Shared

Website Design

56k Dial-Up Internet

Information

Domain Registration

Merchant Accounts

Reseller Program

I'll take the last spot. Here's my entry: -
Heh, wb. Glad to have you back. :PAnd very nice looking sigs. Loving the second one. I feel like the first one could use some more grunge, though.
-
If you would have placed the text in the empty spot at the top left it would have improved the sig; and probably have made the text easier to read. That line you did with the pen tool, that goes over her lower-right part of the face, imo, should be faded out. And maybe add a border? (If it does have one, i can't tell..)
-
I see. Well, maybe i can do a "quicky" of what you need and post back later. Though, no promises.
Edit: Ok, i managed to pull off what i think is what you want. Here's the CSS for it:.main {list-style: none;}.main li:before {content: " > ";}.nest {list-style: none;font-style: italic;padding-left: 20px;}.nest li:before {content: " - ";}ul.nest {display: none;}ul.main li:hover ul.nest {display: block;} And here's the HTML for the list:

Web Design

Reseller

Shared

Website Design

56k Dial-Up Internet

Information

Domain Registration

Merchant Accounts

Reseller Program
Using the "hover" pseudo-class, and unordered lists can achieve what you want. You'll find many ways on how it can be achieved here: http://css.maxdesign.com.au/listamatic2/

I see you're using MSIE7. If i'm not mistaken, IE can't handle everything that PNGs are capable of. I think it was something about gamma correction.

I'ma have to agree with Pleno. The truth has it's way of showing itself--and history does have it's way of repeating itself, like it already did, with your second "friend". Temptation is hard to overcome. It requires a LOT of practice. By my observation, if you truly loved Cassie, you would have stopped the others from engaging you in that manner. I know you tried to, but it looks like it was in vain.

Well, at least you went through most of it. Thanks for your time to contribute. -

Certainly, he was not a "newbie", but like i've mentioned before, doing something longer than others doesn't mean you're better at it than others. Well, just like a business: You can't please everyone. You might've already heard this, but i'll say it anyways. We all know life is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11). It is because of that life that allows sin offerings/sacrifices to atone for sins. So, then why a human being? Why not continue with livestock? Well, like every prophet, they all had their own specific duty to fulfill. The same outcome was basically the same: bring people back to God. But nonetheless, they all had their own thing to do. Not only did Jesus' crucifiction bring back billions upon billions of people back to God--even till this day, it also gave him the title that is above all names, and giving the ability to atone for sins through faith. We know the dead can't save the "dead", so Christ was ressurected and is still living. I have never been engaged with this question before. I am inexperienced with this question, so the part colored in red, in your post, would have to suffice for now. If you believe that energy can't be created nor destroyed, why do you ask "Who/what created God?"? However, this is said with the assumption that you do believe that energy cannot be created nor destroyed. [1]I wouldn't say "most likely", maybe "always". But we still try, eventhough we know it's in vain.[2]Like with [1], i'm pretty sure these answers were said in vain, but i try either way. -
On the menu on the left, use the tool that's made for bezier curves and straight lines. Shortcut should be Shift+F6. Then on the layer (or new layer) click on the edge of the boundary, then click on the other side of the edge where you want it to reach to, then click on the square that's at the start of the line. If you want to increase the thickness of the line, select the line with move tool (F1). Then go to Object > Fill and Stroke. On the "Stroke Style" tab, just increase the width. If this is not what you're asking for, then i misunderstood.

The empty spot to the right would have been perfect for some text. With subtitle and whatnot. Just to take up room and make the sig look "full". The text, right now, is too simple.

How To Convince Atheists Of God's Existence

The blank stare would come from lack of knowledge of their religion. It is easier to pick on "newbies" than it is to pick on the experienced. I would suggest those who receive a blank stare to ask the person how long they've been in their religion. Though, i must admit knowledge comes (faster) with the more work you put into something. A person who has been in something longer than another can have less knowledge in that something than the other. -
Although, the four lines on the right are jagged, it is impossible to make them unjagged without a high resolution. Like Garbage said, it would require a vector-based program to do so. If you need a free vector-based program, i'd recommend Inkscape. Their goal is like the GIMP to Photoshop: To create a free alternative to Illustrator, etc. Oh, forgot to mention: The edited one is looking better.

What Is The Difference...? Between bandwidth and webspace?
truefusion replied to the_aggie10's topic in Web Hosting Support
I believe, also, browsers that have good caching abilities can help save bandwidth. Also, a person that tells their browser not to download image files when rendering a page can help save bandwidth. -
I wouldn't say everything has changed between the time from then and now, but i would say many things have changed.

Yes, it became a social thing from a religious thing. Just as with people a long time ago thinking that cameras took a piece of your soul when your picture is taken, same with sneezing. A long time ago, people used to think that when one sneezed, a part of their soul would escape them, and they would say "bless you", not really to you personally, but to the part of the soul that supposedly came out of you. Of course, that would be in a good sense. Nothing bad about it, just wishing the person's soul to go to the right place.

What program did you use to make it, so i can know what tools you're capable of using?I suggest, make the blue color into a lighter blue (the kind that has a little green and white in it). Also, vertically and horizontally center the text. I think the text "Forum.co.uk" could be shrunked a bit, so it doesn't touch the bottom and the top of the black pill. Or, after vertically and horizontally centering the text, just make the pill box a bit bigger so the text doesn't touch the bottom and top of the black pill. The text seems OK to me. Just maybe fix the white stroke around the text "RC".
