In order to remove the text, you require the pen tool, the eyedrop tool, the gradient tool and the text tool. The eyedrop tool for selecting the two main colors in the gradient; the dark and light ones; one taking the place of the foreground color and the other taking the place of the background color. The pen tool for tracing around the part of the ribbon that has the text. After tracing, you convert the path to selection, then fill the selection with the gradient tool with the bi-linear effect (i think it's what it's called). In Photoshop, you can create a path, and with the text tool write on that path.

Err, sorry, i don't know any tutorials concerning tech borders for the GIMP. As for paths: You don't have to use them, but my idea deals with using the retangular marquee tool a lot; that is, if you're going to make the edge of the rectangle slant, to zoom in at least 1600%, and start adding selections, each being shorter in height than the others until you reach the end. If you understand what i mean.

If i remember correctly on how simcity is like, don't you have to worry about natural disasters and your very citizens messing up the city? If you were to include such a thing into this game you have thought up, you would not only have to worry about attacking-neighbors, but also your own citizens ruining your supplies, and the natural disasters. However, i can see this working not only against you but for you as well. But the chances of it working for you are not as high as it is working against you. So, i'm assuming you're not going to include all features from both games, right (if this game were to be actually made, of course)?

So i decided to make my music available to the public. I decided to place them under the Free Art License, similar to the GNU General Public License, only more geared towards works of art. Finding a place to host it was interesting. All these music sites had user agreements which would violate the Free Art License. But luckily, Google offers web space. It's the future we're talking about here. This quoted part here contradicts itself. You can't say that it's possible (i.e. not instantly), then go on to say that it isn't and that it's all random. By the way, let's say there is no moving "body", how does that fit into your equation? Or let's say there is no stationary "body", how does that fit? The object cannot be both stationary and moving. Since when is around 130 or so pounds considered fat? In my opinion, you shouldn't have made the bet—it is unnecessary. Let's turn the list into numbers for easier reference. What do you consider "small"? Those plates that are half the size (or smaller) of normal plates? If so, make it 4-5. A day or weekly? You may be better off making your own, for the dressings in either, chances are, are bad for your health anyways. Whole soda bottles (2 liters) or cans? Make your own drink with the fruit you buy. But yeah, water's good. If your dog is hyper, you're gonna be doing more than walking. Don't go passed more than 2 a week for fish; AHA recommended. As for spaghetti sauce, make your own with the vegies you buy. Stressful life before this or you just like the taste? I say cut back on it entirely, and let the only alcohol come from the cooking wine, if any. But why should you take the time to make some of the things mentioned? Consider it a small, probably even (very) tiny workout. And it's healthier this way. And it may take your mind off of, let's say, cheese. Mhmm. Of course that kind of pasta is a bit more expensive, but i buy it anyways. I get it mostly for the added Omega-3 fatty acids. I'm not a big fan of fish. :X But i'll eat it, but mostly shrimp for me. Don't worry about the weight, worry about what you eat, and the weight will take care of itself. You can pull off being healthy with just 65% of all recommendations. That should help, money-wise.
