1. Konqueror, the browser/file manager for KDE, also passes the Acid test. It was interesting to see that it passed it. Yet i have found some differences in the way Opera and Konqueror render certain things. Konqueror seems to be closer to the way Firefox renders pages; however, Firefox is still yet to pass the Acid test. I don't bear knowledge of all the browsers that have passed the Acid test, but i know for sure that Opera and Konqueror have passed it.
2. I get the feeling those features were present in Opera before Firefox. Regardless, i would like to see what new "improvements" Microsoft has to offer in this new IE. Not that i'll be using IE (Opera all the way for me), espeically since i'm a Linux convert, but i'm hoping to be surprised by Microsoft. Perhaps they'll lean (more) towards standards on this one. Perhaps it'll become more user-friendly. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.
3. You didn't have to reinstall Kubuntu, since it's a LiveCD. You could have loaded up the CD, mounted your HDD (if not already mounted), look for the file you edited in the HDD, and undo the modifications that you had done to it, manually. Then reboot from the HDD, and everything should be back the way it was. This is how i fix my problems when messing around with /etc/X11/xorg.conf.
4. Photoshop 5.5!? Oh man, i've seen 5.5 before. Not recommended! Switch to the GIMP—you'll get more features. It may be harder to deal with on the brushes side and certain kind of effects ('cause it's more manual work), but the GIMP has added support for Photoshop 6 brushes (unless i'm mistaken with the delevopment version), and manual work may be more productive. Regardless, go with the GIMP. As for the sigs: The first one is better than the other. The first one may have looked better if you added in a gloss effect to the background. If you are unsure on how to go about in doing such, it's not hard, just a simple gradient. Also, moving the text a bit more inward towards the center may have helped the sig. For the second one, the render is a bit blurry, but it feels that that's not really your doing. The blue text, it's not recommended to have text over renders, unless you can effectively get it to work well with the render. For the text "Tiki", it's a bit too close to the edge. Moving it more to the left would help a bit. If i were to give a rating out of 10 for each, i would give the first one a 5.7/10 and the second one 5.65/10. Interesting that you've gotten into sigs, though.
5. Removing the division won't work, 'cause the problem is being caused by the floating to the left.. Removing the division will just remove the yellowbox, but the images will still break through.

@Boozker: Inline just puts everything on one line; to put it shortly. It makes block-level elements not stretch from side to side. TABLEs, DIVs, ULs and similar are block-level elements. A, SPAN and others are inline-level elements.
6. Not on my side. Did you copy the CSS i just edited in? On my side, with the way i just said to do it, it does not break out of the yellow box and should look the way you want it to.
7. It is 'cause it is floating to the left. Suggestion: Instead of this: <ul><li><a><img></a></li><li><a><img></a></li><li><a><img></a></li><li><a><img></a></li><li><a><img></a></li><li><a><img></a></li></ul> Do this: <ul><li><a><img></a></li><li><a><img></a></li><li><a><img></a></li></ul><ul><li><a><img></a></li><li><a><img></a></li><li><a><img></a></li></ul><ul><li><a><img></a></li><li><a><img></a></li><li><a><img></a></li></ul> Don't have it all into one unordered list. This should make your job easier, even if it's more table-like. Then mess around with CSS for the new coding.

Edit:Here's the modified CSS .thumb_container {margin: 0 auto;width: 430px;border: 1px dashed #ffff00;}ul.thumb_list li.thumb_list {list-style: none;display: inline;}.thumbs {border: 3px solid #ffffff;border-bottom:6px solid #ffffff;height:70px;width:100px;margin:5px;}
8. Whoa! That's insane. Complete control indeed! It's like renting out a computer; which is an interesting idea at that. These features should really increase sales, if the word gets out fast of course.
9. I hope they make things obvious for those with wifi networks by having a network name like, "Free for those in the area," or whatever. But it would really stink for them if someone malicious comes by, uses their connection to commit a crime, and then gets traced back to the owner of the connection. The owner can be convicted of a crime they didn't commit, and the law won't be able to help them—it would in fact be against them.
10. [1]There are ways to find out the location of someone through their IP address. But you've already lost your integrity due to your actions, and are placing more effort in using someone else's connection.[2]This statement just makes you lose more of your integrity. [3:1]That doesn't mean one should resort to unjust ways of obtaining it. [3:2]There are a few factors that come in when people aren't able to get a connection or signal, but you seem to be implying that it's because they can't afford it or because they're limited. If they can't afford it, no worries, it's not something that's needed for one to live like air and food, and refer to [3:1]. If it's because they are limited, then i'm sure their worries aren't on whether or not they can get a connection or signal. [4]The negativity of a post can vary upon how the reader looks at the post (sometimes due to ones current mood during the reading), therefore it can go either way: positive or negative.
11. Have you forgotten about e-mail attachments that are quite big? Have you also forgotten about graphic-heavy websites? Did you skip the part where the topic-starter says he uses the connection for playing games online? I find it really hard for the owner of the connection not to feel a loss in speed. Have you ever ran a home-based network before? Someone always gets slowed down if there is more than one user on it. And what if one of the computers get infected with a virus? Heh, one of today's most popular things on the internet is doing exactly what is mentioned in this quote. It's neither the smart nor right thing to do, but it's done anyways.
12. Reading the post, i see there was a (very) quick end to convincing your dad (which, by implication, is capable of affording the service that can be provided by an ISP) to get your own Internet service. If you truly love your neighbor as you say you do, then you would stop using their service and get your own. Just 'cause you have the ability to steal—doesn't mean you should. Even if you are not able to afford it, you shouldn't resort to stealing. See, TikiPrincess did a good thing (although she should have done it before using it, and not waited a month): She went over to her neighbors house and asked permission. If i were you, Mark, i would reconsider my actions.
13. Beryl (unless i'm confusing myself with Compiz) comes pre-installed with Ubuntu, you just have to activate it. You can download Ubuntu at http://www.ubuntu.com/, and if you want, you can have them ship you a CD for free (may take at least two weeks) from http://www.ubuntu.com/shipit/.

15. No you can't, people cheat that too. They actually copy the exact amount of hyphens that is made to seperate their sig from the post! I've caught some people using fake signatures before. I don't roam around the forums with signatures on for that reason and 'cause some people's signatures are just insane, like mine.
16. Using SLI on Linux is possible. Many distros support a lot of hardware out-of-the-box, but if the distro you're using does not support your system specs, you may go to the vendor's website and they should have the drivers available for download for Linux with instructions on how to install them. This may be a bit inconvenient for people who are new to the Linux world. But if you do a little research before picking and installing a distro, you might just find one that supports all of your system specs (which many of the popular ones do, now-a-days). My friend's motherboard supports SLI and Ubuntu seems to work perfectly for him—no complaints thus far.
17. Windows has its own little defragmenter in the Accessories > System Tools (i think it was). You should defrag at least 3-4 times before resizing the partition. But a little FYI: The file systems used by Linux are better than the ones used by Windows in this area, therefore there is no need to worry about fragmentation. But i think i've seen a package named "defrag" in the Ubuntu repository (i doubt that it's useful anyways).
18. Love is blind. But by saying, "beyond all looks," changes the meaning of the word "blind"—or at least that's how i see it. The fact that even people who are not right for others are able to get hooked up with with people who deserve better proves that love is blind. However, that doesn't mean that it's a constant thing that never gives a chance to those with a "good" heart. Some people learn the first time around, which may be the reason why some break-ups happen. But you know there's a problem when the same event happens again but only worse; that is, the person hooked up with someone even worse than the previous one. Although as the days go by purity keeps vanishing, that doesn't mean one should stop trying to be a better person. Instead, it should rather be motivation to make others want to be better. Here's a good proverb:
19. The fact that you haven't gotten together with her yet will make things easier for you, that is, you won't be proned to a break-up. Being rejected in the manner of asking out isn't as harsh as being rejected after being together for a while. It's easier to move on if you're not accepted when asking out. However, this little bit requires an explanation: What i get from the first part of it is that either you didn't ask her in a gentlemen-like manner or you were too shy and maybe even stuttered a lot which caused some failure. But the second half of that part makes me think it's more of the former. If your friends telling you to do stuff doesn't affect you, how much less our advice. However, since you've decided to post about this, this appears to be your first step at reasonable thinking. For now, i'd advise you to start looking at how things are currently. You've already began doing so, but you should examine things more and use that examination to try and predict the future. See what you can shape, but most importantly what you can't modify. Consider that you're still friends with her. Consider your age and take a look at just how much longer you have to live in order to see that there's is plenty of time for many things to happen. Success brings fame.

22. What says 150mb? Could you point that out to us? Your C-panel is correct on how much web space you have for the second package. It used to be 150mb, but it has been upgraded to 500mbs [quite] a while ago.
23. Well, what do you do when they change their avatar and sig(s) and it appears as if they're a new user? When and if that happens, does that bother you much, if any? Have you ever changed your avatar and/or sigs before? And what happens when you find two users with the same avatar but no sig? How do you handle that?
24. On this computer, i've installed around 11 different Linux Distributions without losing any personal data, nor messing up my Windows partition. Out of those distros were: Ubuntu, Kubuntu (including 7.10 Tribe 2), Xubuntu and Fluxbuntu. I can only wonder what you did during the installation process and what's the version of the distro you chose to use.
