seem like replies has been set to be "invisible", pending admin/mod approval before other members can read them. no moderator's notes appear there, just can't say for sure if that's the default for that particular forum or not. if you can't see your post immediately after posting, then it is set to "invisible" (for whatever reason, like TOS violations, etc.). if this is a default for that forum, we will confirm with nilsc or opaque. admins/mods would see "invisible posts" up for review in a different color, that is light red. after approval, and after made visible again, then it returns to how we normally read them, in light blue. btw, i will be deleting the double-post, and the "testing" post, to clean up that thread.

on #1: spectre did answer that one already, so just to make it "official" on your part, ask for a written authorization from those bands. Xisto admins may ask for it too if there is a legal question on those mp3s you have on your hosting space. on #2: if you're providing downloads (mp3s, etc.): it eats ups system resources, and if downloads get too popular, it can slow down the servers. (note: i do have a downloads section in my site also, but it is just a bunch of links pointing to where i host them on a limited time basis [rapidshare.de]) extras are subject to the approval of admins (OPAQUE and/or NILSC). but i doubt if it's going to be approved if space and bandwidth is predominantly consumed by downloads. i suppose it's on a case-to-case basis, so it is still worth a try to contact any of the admins. (note: i still do host also Xisto ads on my site, although i don't get extras... at least, not anymore. any member can upgrade to get the 5GB bandwidth allotment already. ) Xisto ad codes can be requested from admins. i have a link in my sig about that before, but i removed it already. for me, it would have to be attaining WORLD PEACE and eradicating POVERTY. it's always painful to see and read and hear about people suffering because of wars, because of poverty. the first is harder to attain with all the BAD politics (and politicians) involved, but the second is just hard but not impossible altogether. IF ONLY people can join hands, there will be less worries in the world.

didn't realize there could be a lot of classical fans in a hosting forum. as for me, anything baroque, but mostly by j.s.bach. used to have a collection i play before sleeping at night, especially during exams week. they say the right classical music can stimulate the brain better.

you search google, you write the url down, you misplace it and don't remember it - you're lost.you search google, store the url on your pc, your drive crashes and you don't have backups - you're lost. you search google, upload a redirection page on your website? huh? why? i don't get it, honestly. for heaven's sake, do i have to think of a reason for you? if you don't know how to use, then it's better to clear out of using it in the first place! but if you need help on using it, and find ways on how it can be helpful to you, find it here. that's why you are given the power to MANAGE your google search history! it's easy to use DELETE. yes, it can be pretty useless for people who run out of ideas on how it can be useful.

why not simply change jumper settings for each? make the master your slave drive, then make your slave the master drive. from there, you can reinstall your OS and applications in your NEW master drive (formerly slave), and then simply access the NEW slave drive (formerly master) for documents and files you might need for the NEW master drive. just a thought.

perhaps you can post details of your program here just to enlighten everyone? this way we can more openly discuss the merits of the ad program you offer. you can consider every member here as "webmasters" since everyone stays with Xisto for hosting for their websites. you may get deluged with PM inquiries. "make money online" is a very hard topic to dismiss.
