not entirely feasible at the moment since Xisto is using scripting (more specifically, the hosting credits script) which can turn haywire with other skins. hard to successfully port the mods to other skins since admins are pretty busy. anyhow, you'll get used with the current skin.

Xisto supports parked and add-on domains. so, yes, you can point two (or more) top-level domains to variable folders (or to just one folder for all domains) in your hosting account.

what "111.my1stdomain.com" is, is a subdomain and not precisely a domain. but if you host a top-level domain with Xisto (example: "mydomain.com", you can use that), you can create subdomains for that domain on your own later (like, "subdomain1.mydomain.com", "subdomain2.mydomain.com", etc. any subdomain name can be created, i just used subdomain1 and subdomain2 as examples.)

well, gmail is supposed to be for emails anyway, the reason why there is "mail" in "gMAIL"... but i see your point. perhaps google web hosting is in the drawing board. but even if it says 2GB is allotted for each gmail user anyway, i think mail hosting with google is not strictly 2GB per se physically (or virtually, whatever )... gmail inboxes would be invariably flexible to accommodate up to how much email space each user needs, to a maximum of 2GB when needed.using gmail for web hosting is perhaps out of the question since user authentication is needed whenever emails/files are accessed within. as it is, gmail can be used for file storage with the understanding it is not public, and can be accessed only by user (or users) which is/are properly authenticated. skirting user authentication (and using gmail for hosting) will be difficult, if not improbable.

sometimes the screen view image in google maps may not be enough... sometimes a bigger google map image with a bigger coverage area with maximum zoom level view is required. doing screen captures of multiple maps viewed in google maps and merging them later in photoshop can do the trick. but isn't that too cumbersome? what to do? head on to gMerge: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ type in an address of the map you want to capture, set the size of the image output (choose from a variety of sizes), choose magnification leval (from 0-nearest to 14-farthest), submit query, then wait for the image to magically appear tiled in a matter of seconds! can't think of an address to type in? pick any from the latest findings at googlesightseeing... some weird map images appear when you choose from the dropdown menu available. (these are the types i want to make a wallpaper out of - the envy of anybody who would care take a peek at my desktop. )

most of you are likely to adore a font from somewhere, and would want to know what it is for future use, but don't know what font to look for in the first place and where to start looking. here's a little tool site which can help you figure out a font (or at least find a suitable likeness of the font) when you see a font you like in some print or web publication. http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/ how does it work? they have a database of font imageries, and you just have to upload an image of the font you want, sit back, and let the search process your image for matching font/s. beats the hell out of trawling the net for some obscure font.
