Google preparing to challenge PayPal http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Google reportedly plans to start payment service to rival PayPal http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ EBAY, PAYPAL now "shaking in their boots"??? i just wish that google roll out this service FAST! although other online electronic payment systems are already competing with paypal directly, this one from google should wake the ebay/paypal group from their slumber in OBVIOUSLY disregarding the other countries from being able to use their online payment system! i've been wanting to get a paypal account for a long time already (isn't 5 years long enough, PAYPAL?), but until now several countries are not yet able to enjoy their service (which is why i don't have one yet... to think that they have a local ebay for the philippines, and no paypal!!! what a shame!!!) since other google services like adsense does not discriminate on what country an account holder is from, i would say this google payment system would continue with this inclusiveness. that would play well on google's part, to the detriment of ebay/paypal business (serves them well, if you ask me for making the rest of the world wait for so long)! are you ready for GPAL? (okay, i just made "GPAL" up heheheĆ¼) I SURE AM! I WILL EMBRACE IT more than PAYPAL (even if they decide to include all countries later on )!

really works 100%??? post it fast!!! i will enable email notification of replies for this thread so i don't miss it! kudos! hope this is not a hoax -
there's a clue alright. it's still somewhere in the room. specifically in one of the objects you find in the veridian room. hint: do you see any numbers written anywhere? like a diary perhaps?

http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ lolz! you gotta read this to appreciate that the most basic stuff can be the most practical.

might be helpful: http://www.unixwiz.net/techtips/sql-injection.html

nope, no downtime that i know off during the upgrade. btw, where are you from? maybe we can crosscheck with other members from your area if there are members here from same area as you.
-
sweet maybe add the Xisto logo on that bare spot (check the header of this page)... will wait for updates (since it's still partially complete as you say). :(maybe change the font as well for the "free webhosting to the max" text you have there, enlarge it a bit, add color, and perhaps blend it with the scanline background instead of having it on a solid color background.

check this crimson room thread which i made weeks ago also: http://forums.xisto.com/topic/21736-escape-from-the-crimson-room-interactive-flash-game-iq-challenge/ that e-gamezone one seems to be the old one (since they are hosting it themselves). the crimson room link i have in the thread above is maintained by the gamemaker themselves, so the hidden URL where the safe combination is located is also updated. btw, no single safe combination works, it's devised to change from time to time.
-
been out of that crimson room already. been out of the other rooms as well. tough at first, but hey, if i did get out (among the thousands who did), you can too. :Phints: - buffalohelp, every item you find inside the room has a usage. it there's something there which bears a URL, maybe it's worth visiting. - tatatee, that dancing man points at some blinking starry thing, right? hover your mouse over it, and wait for the movie to end... then click that spot. don't click prematurely, or it will not work, and you have to replay the movie over and over again. good luck!

please refer to this thread: http://forums.xisto.com/topic/8667-edit-button/ anyway, the short of it, editing and deleting topics/posts is delegated to admins/moderators at this point. why? because we have the hosting credits system in place, which needs to be adjusted for instances of deletion and editing. the edit and delete buttons were removed due to abuse of some members before with regards to the hosting credits system.

i'm betting it's gonna be dumbledore who will die in the upcoming HP book....and technically, sirius is not yet "dead", just banished into another dimension... that's what i think

worth reading if you desire a great site ranking in google. covers a good deal of hard facts on how google indexing works. some "common" techniques and notions dispelled as well, to avoid getting your site "sandboxed" by google. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

you know the story circulating around... apple and intel together. a trademark application seems to solidify the deal further... but choosing mactel??? apple is known for creativity, but seems like mactel is not too creative a trademark for me, but that's just me. http://news.a.com.com/ if you were steve jobs, what term would you use to describe (in conversation) the upcoming intel-based macs? still mactel???

john_meikle, for the apology, and the willingness to make amends, i'm lowering warning i gave you. it's been there for a while, and i believe you learned your lesson. this would not excuse you in the future though, so make good on your word.

yeah, definitely not AI... but interesting still. saw a variation of this sometime ago, but in more flagrant fashion: the questioner is the dark sith lord, DARTH VADER -- and you pit your wits with him, in the same 20-or-less question-and-answer manner. (i was complemented "the FORCE is strong with this one!" when darth vader failed to guess my thoughts after a long while.) http://ww38.sithsense.com/ it's a burger king and star wars promotional site, so expect to see who else but the burger king somewhere down the line. you may need a fast connection to enjoy this (56K users would just have to wait a bit more than the usual). and it's in flash so better have an updated player version as well. turn up your speakers also to enjoy the music and sound effects.

just closing this thread would suffice. topic closed.

you just need to set the vertical alignment of that navigation cell you have. search for this part: edit this part to this: note that valign="top" has been added. that should fix your problem... i think.

if a time traveler i came across years ago is to be believed, this has been done (from his timeline years in the future). yes, the time machine, and succesful time travel can be real (or so this time traveler says). http://johntitor.com/ the site is a chronicle of john titor's stay in our timeline, when he time traveled to year circa november2000-march2001 (sort of a stopover; he originally went back to 1975, in which time he secured a hardware [an IBM 5100] for military purposes). he said he was from year 2036. his presence in online forums that time has been meticulously and publicly documented. what would a sceptic do? of course he was subjected to all sorts of scrutiny, and was asked for proof of his claim of time travel. he even discussed the technical aspects of the technology, and dropped hints of things to come in the future (from the point of his presence in our timeline). just read the site to nitpick on his claims, which makes sense by the way (even if it may sound outrageous in the beginning). don't let the simple site design dismay you. it's a diamond in the rough, believe me. i'm hoping this can spark more debate on this topic, now that a "time traveler" (of course, this alone will always be open to debate ) has been documented.
