  1. I play Minesweeper quite regularly and there is an online version with MSN Messenger. It is one of the very few games that does require a little bit of thought and logic, which most people seem to have lost. I also like playing on the larger fields as it is more difficult and requires more thought. Its a timeless classic that I hope that it will stay on Windows OSs for some time to come.
  2. You might occasionally get angry with double glazing salesmen who ring you in the middle of your favourite TV show, but to shoot a TV repair man? How on earth could you bring yourself to do such a thing?
  3. That is the weirdest mod I have ever seen for a forum. I wonder if there is a similar mod for other forum software?
  4. Its interesting to see how the whole process of data recovery actually works. I thought it was far simpler before reading that article. I'm also suprised that they can recover data from a RAID array. It is a very expensive process and sometimes doesn't work so I wouldn't rely on it!
  5. I don't know why but I like really light shades and really dark shades. My favourite colour is blue, but again, I am not sure why. I wouldn't really describe myself as a 'blue' person.
  6. I thought about a video games tester, but decided it would get slightly repetitive and boring in the end.If anyone knows the story of Reggie Perrin and his 'Grot' shops, which I doubt anyone does, then that would also be a fun career!
  7. Its shocking to read information like this. How could people not notice when tests are carried out on the blood, or were the checks never performed in the first place? You generally go into hospitals to get a chance of survival or ease pain, but to go in and be condemmed to death is just awful. I am devastated at this news and would be more so if it happened to someone close to my heart.
  8. I doubt this idea would ever take off, not in Britain anyway. Most people try to spend as little time as possible in McDonalds, so spending time printing photos is not high on most peoples priorities. Plus there is never enough seating, so most people walk in, queue for ages, get their food and walk out, or use the drive through, so not many people will even have the opportunity to use these facilities.
  9. My favourite jobs would have to be: 1. Photographer 2. Graphic Designer 3. Web Designer But I doubt I will end up doing any of those.
  10. Your site does look very professional and I like the menu. It is very quick to load and is XHTML and CSS valid, many sites I have seen usually get one or the other. I like the layout of the photo gallery too. Very nice site.
  11. I agree with Saint_Michael that France thinks it can do what it wants in the EU and get away with it. It is very unlikely that us in the UK will get a chance to have our say and some ex-MP will express their views in Brussels. The EU at the moment just seems to be an extension of the French government, with the French always getting their own way. The British never get a referrendum on anything, including the Iraq war and this constitution.
  12. Nice work. I think you could either add a border or perhaps a slight bevel at the edge, but otherwise good work.
  13. I always use headphones as there is always someone else around making a noise, whether it be watching TV or just talking, it really gets on my nerves when listening to music. My headphones also sound a lot better than the speakers that came with my PC.
  14. As far as I am aware, regardless of what you do, Firefox and other browsers have the feature to remove scroll bars that are unnecessary. I have seen this problem before and have never found a solution, the only way would be to forcibly make your page bigger. For example, you could contain the entire contents of the page within a <div> with sizes set a few pixels bigger than the frame. I think the site is . I would also like to point out that "tourism" is spelt wrong on the banner at the top. Hope you find a solution to the problem.
  15. Depending on what other features are brought out in phpBB3, I might switch to that over IPB. Is there any more information available on the features to be implemented in phpBB3?
  16. I like the design, it certainly makes me want to return and look at the site when it is completed. I presume it will follow the same style? I don't know why but that font just seems to fit perfectly with the design. Nice work and I look forward to the finished article.
  17. Black is just too 'normal' for a drum kit. You need something striking and different, so I would pick the red, but its up to you.
  18. I use Firefox most of the time, although I am now using an IE-based browser my friend has developed. It runds very smoothly and is far better than IE. I have suggested some FF features and they are being implemented, so I am using that.
  19. I find it very hard to believe that a God could exist, due to the large amount of suffering inncoent people go through, such as murders, wars and terrorist attacks. If free will does exist, then why does God allow people to attack eachother and cause suffering? Surely if God is supposedly benevolent he would put an end to all this? I find it strange that if God does exist, he has not told us of his existance. I can see each side of the arguement and see pitfalls and advantages to each. I am agnostic and intend to stay such until more is known about the mysterious creation of life, the universe and everything.
  20. I like the simplicity of the design, but, as was mentioned earlier, there is a large amount of wasted space. On my screen resolution the images are very small and it is impossible to see any detail. Could you possibly get the site to detect your screen res and adjust accordingly? Just an idea. The colour scheme is good and everything blends well. Overall a nice site, apart from no listings in search engines.
  21. I have voted for Dreamweaver as I have used it a few times and it is far better than FrontPage, the only HTML editing software (except Notepad) that I have at home.I have been trying to get hold of a copy of Dreamweaver for ages, but I just cannot afford the ridiculous prices asked by Macromedia.
  22. The price sounds just a little high for what it is, but it is a very nice idea. Have there been any pictures released yet?
  23. My favourite book of all time has to be The Hitchhikers' Guide To The Galaxy. I first read it in 1996 and have been a great fan ever since. I am also a great fan of Bill Bryson's books, and tried writing a piece in a similar style, although it didn't come up to expectations, so I abandoned it . I have also recently enjoyed reading the Reginald Perrin series by David Nobbs. These choices are all humorous, however, I also read many crime and detective novels.
  24. I presume this will work like a mass Bluetooth connection between loads of phones? It does sound like a good idea if its free. I wouldn't pay for something I can do on Bluetooth, albeit slightly slower. It could also be used for mass-multiplayer mobile gaming, whch could be an interesting concept. This technology could really be made useful depending on the range. If it has a large enough range could this technology be used to send SMS messages to other phoned in the area very cheaply, or even free?
  25. Try listening to something funny, like Weird Al Yankovic. I always listen to it after a long day and it cheers me up.
