  1. Here we go, if you dont like it you can eat your own shorts ^^
  2. Congrats Mareck good sig and renders used really good concept fo rthe theme.
  3. I only noticed this topic today because at first i thought it was part of the announcements and then when i saw it reached 3 pages i was like "hang on" Enough about that, so i have a few questions aswell m^e did you only want the gdk you provided skinned or is there another gdk for the bg and tables an so on if so can you please advise otherwise i have already skinned the gdk it was really layed out well so just over an hour with colour schemes and so on..my psd is 7kbs more due to the logo4 having the Xisto logo and a few hidden layers i also added a few touches and effects of my own for that space age look you wanted and the file size will be the same if not smaller once optimised judgeing from my gdk zip which is also 181kbs. Finally hes gona post the image heheh i wasnt sure about a watermark but i went with it anyway, if you are going to put them in a poll just pm me and i will supply one without a watermark for clarity, please check for spelling mistakes or even parts with miss moding as even i make mistakes. Now im almost positive i can tweak the colour scheme to fit perfectly if i could see it in a board so m^e maybe a dummy board would be good because im not sure about certain pieces for example the 2 biggest pieces just left of the main logo i think these are to fill left right and under the main logo but i am no sure, if that is the case you can clearly see mine wont blend. Please get back to me on this before final submission. This scheme is based on the old Xisto logo4 but now with a space age touch -----Post edited as requested-----szupie
  4. Well abhiram i dont use GIMP so i wont be much help apart from what i can see in your sig and i agree with m^e that your pixelstretch it really good ( did u try looking at the sig without the render) cos i think that alone will look really good. For this sig as it is though i will suggest that you make the Render and Text alot bigger than they are at the moment or the bg smaller (400x150 is the max i would go for a sig) Also blend in the render with a blur once you figure it out because its a fast moving character so you want that effect. Add a few text effects also when u get the plugin working and the sig should be good to go.
  5. You came back YAY but if all you got from what i said that i want to battle you then you really cant see past the font ^^ People were being honest in rating your sigs and you have a little hissy fit and now you come back to prove yourself or make something of it .......i think you will understand if i dont want to battle you not because i wouldnt like to but becuase of the aftermath (is that a strong enough word) who knows you might fly right of the handle if it all turns to custard. So for your safety and mine : http://www.angermanagement.com/
  6. Hmm the sig is alright for maybe a professional type forum or something close, the font still needs a bit of work. Of the others i reckon the first one the purple one is the best for an abstract sig if you work on that sig with some curve layers or contrast layers it can become a really nice abstract sig.Keep it up
  7. Here we go 100 % render manipulation 99.9% default PS , just text is dled
  8. I agree with true, it looks a bit flat instead of clouds and next try 3 levels of animation just to mix things up a bit and maybe a longer delay between the end and next restart just to simulate lightning a bit more.
  9. Woah !!! beA-U-tiful sigs mareck, my fave atm wud have to be angel, the colours and bg is too cool. The infinity one im not sure the tech brushes look good in it.Good Luck with heaven and hell it is belnded in spot on.Not sure wat to make of evolution B)Warrior within needs better text choice i think.Nice manip of the spawn render parts of the bg are too dark so we cant see your brushing details.
  10. Wow nice sorta abstract filter work there warbird i definitely suggest a border, maybe a 1px inside same colour as the text. Maybe im not sure if this will look good but if your background white is on a seperate layer maybe sum brushing or different colours. Then the last thing u can try is all your adjustment layers to get a final feel such as brightness and contrast, curve levels and so on
  11. Hey sixty, Nice job on the sig just the background colour is too similar to the render and even though renders are meant to be blended in this it has no definition and the text is also a bit too transparent, if you work on that im sure it will turn out into a great sig.
  12. Trying different vec styles yet again. Losing the glazed effect. Nother no brush technique also All Crits and Comments Welcome
  13. 6/10 ebbinger, The text is really bad both choice of font and blending, The render is also really dark (maybe thats becos its a nude im not sure but then use another render maybe) and not blended in well. Your brushing on the other hand is good and nice color choice. Trying a new approach to my glossed over vecs.
  14. I agree with SM the colours in trues sig are more appealing but that swish running across the sword doesnt look good.True 2 : 0
  15. I vote SM3:1More vibrant and better colour blending
  16. Here you go HEAVEN IN CELEBRATION P.S The entire sig was made by me using pure default photoshop except for the text and a star brush, the supernova was the coolest to make)
  17. Ok lets work on easier ways to do these 1) The gradient layer will be very very simple : Make your new layer above everything. Ctrl + A (to select all) Edit > Stroke (Choose something more than 1px so gradient is effective)(color, inside, normal, 100% , untick preseve) Ok and your border will be applied. Now choose your foreground and background colour you would like. Go to Layer > Layer Style > Gradient Overlay And then set the graient to foreground background and play around with the other settings (linear, radial, angle, refelcted, diamond) (reverse or not) And you are done. 2)The 3 px border can be acheived quite fast in ps no need to go to paint. Make your new layer above everything. Ctrl + A (to select all) Edit > Stroke (Choose 3px color, inside, normal, 100% , untick preseve) The same layer : Edit > Stroke (Choose 2px color, inside, clear, 100% , untick preseve) The same layer : Edit > Stroke (Choose 1px same color as above, inside, normal, 100% , untick preseve) There you go quick and easy
  18. Hehehe thnx Avalon good spotting had golfballs on the mind not disoballs !!
  19. Well here you go unfortunately the only thing i cudnt do is the plural discoballs i dont have many disco vecs. hope you like it. [IMG]http://img479.imageshack.us/img479/9656/discotq2lg.png[/IMG] Thats the code to place it on your sig block also save it to your computer just in case the hosting expires. Notice from jlhaslip: edit as requested to correct content of image tags
  20. Heheh no i wasnt talking about what you did in your sig all my points are what you CAN do to your sig to make it better, and yes you are right my explanation was vague so i suggest checking out the Xisto tutorial section or even here and google for "render blending" and im sure you will come across the words feather and layer mask alot more with pictures also "Full Sig" tutorials will get you on your way and you can mix and match and take what you like.
  21. Heheh teh mast0r is SM the sig is taking shape evionition, what i can suggest is not lowering the opacity of the render this is only used when filling space in the background and then it is alot lighter, for blending in a render in a sig such as this i would draw a rough outline of the sig with your lasso tool then set the feather to 15px maybe and then either select inverse and hit delete till you feel it is blended in or add a layer mask, and then the next step you need is brushes so you can brush a little on the render with brushes you used in the background. The text you used i think goes really well with the render and i do prefer the lime green one. Now as you say you have trouble with colours heres a tip - use the colours of the render to make the background coloured, it is called a pixelstretch and would be best if you read a tutorial on it probably here at Xisto or google for it. You dont always have to use that render to colour the sig you can use any render aslong as the colours are similar.Great Job
  22. HAHAHA :'( sniff sniff ...cooooommee baackk D:I will say your sigs look great 10/10 if thats what you want to hear and not the truth so you dont get past High Intermediate, Semi-Pro and Moderate :lol:Nuf Said
  23. Ebbinger the border i used is simple and effective but doesnt go with all sigs because of the effect it creates on the background so make sure it looks good with the sig before sticking with it Make a new layer on top of your complete sig.Ctrl + A (To Select All)Edit > Stroke [ 1 px , color , inside , normal , 100% , transparency unchecked)Click OKCtrl + D (To DeSelect)Layer > Duplicate Layer (Making sure you have the border layer selected in the layers pallete)Click OKFilter > Blur > Gaussian Blur [2px to 7px Radius depending on the sig]Place this layer under the original. There you go
  24. Hey warbird, good job on the sigs and for your first thats a great effort so i have nothing bad to say about the sigs because with a few tweaks those can become great, they are pleasing to the eye already ;)First of when making a sig think proportion so that would mean if your making 300x 75 sigs your text wont be 30 or 45 px and to go along with that text placement in a sig is major, so a tip if your are not blending the text into the render (maybe as a tatto or something) it should not go over the render. Then the others things to keep in mind would be render blending, brushing and filters (including brightness contrast effects ).Cant wait to see your next set warbird.
