Really a shocking news for all, isn't it? I didn't even think of it. I read it in the news paper this morning and really shocked. I still can't figure out why he was given this award. I agree he is a good person, but I don't think he deserves Nobel Peace Prize this much early... Because he has done nothing yet to bring peace to world. There are many other people who deserves this award. May be Nobel committee is changing its standards.

I have been facing the same problem after Xisto was upgraded to the latest version of IPB. I had already complained this to OpaQue a few months back and came up with no solution. So, I got used to that crappy "Sorry You Don't Have Permission" error... I'm still getting that error.. My connection is a broadband connection with a dynamic ip. Though dynamic ip sometimes create problems with Xisto login, thats not the main reason for this problem. Becuase my ip won't change until my ADSL modem rebooted. But while browsing the forum it suddenly logs me out and pops up that error.. So I'm sure that dynamic ip is not the only problem. Tried many things to solve this problem and finally resigned...

At present transfering myCents is not possilble at Xisto. Many people have already suggested this idea but OpaQue is not interested in that, may be there are many problems associated with the transfer of myCents. Transferring myCents is a good idea but it will create lots of problems. MyCents are associated with real money (because we are using them to buy products at xisto). So it is just like transferring real money.. which should be done very carefully and in a secure way. And there are many chances for misuse of that service...Transferring myCents is just like bank real transactions which are somewhat complicated. So developing a code for it is very tough and time taking and involves hard effort.. And the team at xisto should develop a proper code without bugs. Any chance of bug will result into big damage to their company. I think thats the reason why OpaQue is ignoring that idea...Lets see how administrators will respond....

Oracle support for website? why? Usually most of the web hosting companies use MySql as their back end.. because oracle is proprietary and costs very much. Even though if you find one you the prices will be very high. MySql is open source and very powerful, thats why almost all hosting companies are using it. MySql connectivity for Java (JSP, servlets )is very easy... tell your friend to try it once... anyway all the best...

Which version of ubuntu you are using? If it is 8.04 or later (9.04 is latest one) it has an option Install Inside Windows. It doesn't need any dedicated partition to install ubuntu. You can install it very easily like other windows programs, then you can boot your system to windows or ubuntu just like dual booting. And it is very safe option since you are new to installing linux. To install it inside windows, 1. Just put your CD while running in XP and click on Install Inside Windows. 2. Then select the Installation Drive where you want to install ubuntu (nothing will be deleted from that partition, just ubuntu creates a new folder to insall there) .. 3. Specify the installation size (usually you can go with the default, it is enough) 4. Enter some username and password of your choice and then click install... and just follow the simple steps... thats it.. It is very very easy and safe to install. just try...

As mahesh told, the default logic plan ($1.95/month) doesn't have java. But the logic plan is very flexible and customizable. Add JSP support at $1.99/month when you order for the logic plan.

The detials will be mailed to you after you register a domain. And the password at Xisto - Domains keeps expiring time to time and you have to change your password(for security purposes). And virtually you can order any number of domains with myCents, but if you have large number of domains it is very difficult to maintain them. No one maintains that number of websites (20 as you said), I guess you want to resell your domains right?

Hmm... Well you see there are many forums out there which offer nothing in return, and still there is lot of activity in those forums. The reason is not only the quality posting there, but also the people you meet. When you start posting in a forum you'll meet many people. Some of them will have same ideas like you and will become your friends. So you'll start posting to stay in touch with your friends. So you'll continue to discuss with your friends on your favorite topics... :PAnd some forums have member rankings and some regular competitions which gives some feeling of importance to its members. It keeps them posting there.. So, in my opinion a forum have no need to give something to become successful, there are many other things that let the members posting. The only thing is it should be somewhat unique than others... Coming to Xisto, Yes, I'll continue posting here even if there are no myCents. I have some good friends here, I'll continue to be in touch with my friends. Though I'm not much active these days due to some personal problems, I am trying my best to be active here..

As TheDisturbedOne said you don't need to worry about the bandwidth when installing manually. The only things you have to worry is the procedure and burden involved. As you are new to this, I suggest automatic installer (e.g, Fantastico) for you, it is very very easy to install a script through Fantastico. Once you understand how all that works, then go for manual installation. Because manual installation has lot more advantages over automatic installer. One of the best advantage is you can install the latest and updated version of the software you want to install. Automatic installers have somewhat old versions. And the other advantage is you'll have complete control over installation.So my suggestion is first go with automatic installer, and once you understood all this stuff you can go with manual installation. And we're always here to help you whenever you need.

Well, there were some bugs in the MyCent Scripts a few months ago.. and it was fixed. So, most likely bug is not the reason for your negative myCents. As far as I know there is no bug in present myCent script. Negative myCents usually happened when someone edit your posts (either you or a moderator). If you observe carefully, you'll see this negative myCents only for new members who were joined recently, this is because they don't know the rules of the board and violate them. Most of them copies content from some other website and post them here without the QUOTE tags. And they will be awarded myCents for that posts. And when a moderator observes this, he edits his post and will quote all the copied content. After the next update of myCents that amount will be deducted from that member which leaves them in negative myCents. If you don't want negative myCents, don't copy and past content from other websites and use QUOTE tags wherever needed...

Huh... finally the mega tourney ended. And the result was unpredictable as usual. Pakistan became the World Champions for 2009. Being runners up in the last year helped them well to face the pressure in final event. Pakistan handled the pressure very will which usually plays important role in the final results. Its surely a deserving win for Pakistan in the finals. They outplayed Sirlanka in bowling and batting. Shahid Afridi played very well in the semis and finals who made this win easier for Pak. Earlier srilanka failed in batting. Sangakkara managed somehow to reach a respectable total with the help of Mathews. Almost all others failed. The very plus point for Pakistan in this tourney is lack of expectations on them(the same helped India last year :angel: ). The requirements to win a game of T20 is the capability of handling the pressure well and little luck.. Anyway, finally Pakistanis are the champions... congrats Pak

Yes, media has that much capability to turn things up... and you are right about the ads.. being youngsters...our players concentration is on media and ads..they want to be in news for whatever reason... No one objects them if they play well.. but they should give first preference to the game.. everyone needs dedication.. Hmm...some what right, because fans always want our team should win. And when the expectations are high, you could imagine their anger. Our team is playing for our country... and if they failed in that, it means they failed our country. So their anger is some what understandable.. We don't want individual performances, we want team play. But unfortunately.. our fans are making a mistake here. When some one played well, they are making him a star. Then, they are expecting a lot from him. To keep their expectations that star player stops playing his natural game and tries to keep his stardom and average. Finally.. a team sport became an individual performance. You know the quote, Talent wins games, but teamwork wins championships. That won't happen in the near future... I think that type of performance(roller-coaster ride) is in our blood.

Yes..you are right... our team habituated to those things... and other reason is media... the media is raising the expectations of the fans with their over calculative analysis... they are analyzing solely based on the previous performances..forgetting about their fitness and present form... and people reading and watching these useless analysis' and raising their own expectaions. And most commonly.. everyone knows that our team will fail in every event where the expectations are high..and as usual the fans will burn their houses or statues... thats very common in our country... :angel:I don't agree with this IPL issue.. because all other counties had fully played in IPL (except Aussies, Pak. but Aussies failed in World Cup as well) and the key players in IPL from other countries had played good role for their countries in World cup. For example take Sri Lanka... almost all important players played very well in IPL and they are continuing their form very well in T20 world cup... so..IPL is no issue to deal with.. Our teams worst play is the reason for failure in T20 WC.. not other reasons in my opinion.

I already expected the result that India will leave from super 8 after India lost its game to West Indies... Though different players are telling different reasons for our early exit, definitely one of the main reason is our team's over confidence..which exit from the super 8. Our team believed that they were the champions and no team could beat them. Our batting style and fielding style clearly indicated that in the 3 super 8 matches...They think that they could chase any target... regardless of their batting efforts... They didn't opened well, failed in the middle overs and still believed that they could chase it in the slag overs... that negligence and over confidence continued till the last over and finally lost that game... with 3 runs to England. Did they changed after that? and realized the real competition? No... they continued their worst attitude...and lost the last match to South Africa which is a very strong team in all 3 parts..batting, bowling and fielding. Everyone knows that in this very limited over game extras could change the result of the match...but our team had lot of over-confidence on our batting order and never cared about the extras... which showed the real difference in England's match... All over..a big defeat for the defending champions..Coming to the other games.. I really disappointed with South Africa's exit in semis... luck turned against them once again... Finally Pak and Srilanka entered into the finals... so a sub continent team will have the cup once again... SriLanka is the title favorite for being strong in batting, bowling and fielding...the only team which can chase any target and defend any low score....But who knows..anything can happen in 20-20.... lets see..

That was one of the funniest comments I have ever read. What are they talking? They are blaming Symantec and McAfee for not protecting optimized protection to their operating system? and that is the reason for Windows's poor performance? What does it mean? They want third party developers to provide good antivirus products for Windows optimal performance? Then what the hell Microsoft is doing on their OS products? Why don't they try to make an OS strong and invulnerable? By the way, I don't believe in their own Antivirus product, that will be definitely another failure like their inbuilt Windows Defender.. which is one of the worst anti spyware products...and if Microsoft bundled it with Windows7 that product will definitely uses lot of its resources and will degrade its performance and most people will try turn it off or remove it to get better performance of their product. I don't think they will spy on our system with this product, because if they want to do so, they can do that without a product like this. They should concentrate on devoloping and making their OS less vulnerable instead of creating new products like this..

20-20 cricket is always unpredictable... A single over can change the entire match situation... We can't predict any match. IPL proved that again. Some part time bowlers in IPL suddenly turned matches. India is in a very tough group in super 8. Lets wait and see how it performs. Not an easy walk for India this year. It is very sad that Australia knocked out in the first round. They are always out of luck in 20-20 cricket. Lets wait and see what miracles will happen in this tough super 8 round.

Assuming you are using Windows.....Download WAMP server and install it on your system. Start the wamp server and type LOCALHOST in your web browser. If it gives the default page your installation is success... Put your PHP documents in WWW folder of WAMP installation directory(usually C:\WAMP\WWW). For example create a php file test.php and put it in WWW folder. Then open your browser and type LOCALHOST/test.php to test your file..
