Not even admin knows your cPanel password. That's why the Process page has password reset tool. I checked using root admins and your page was edited by me. Check http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Alphanumeric characters are A-Z, a-z, 0-1. All others are non-alphanumeric. If you want, you may PM me your cPanel password and I can log in as a test.

Why would you need to delete your site and recreate it again? Your account is set up correctly. As I PMed you before, I believe it is your end that's experiencing cPanel login failure. I have check the server status, I have logged in to cPanel yours and mine and they are all working correctly.Have you, by any chance, used non-alphanumeric characters as your password?

I signed up with email account with Yahoo when I initially activated Xisto and Yahoo's spam filter deleted automatically. What you should have done, and always should with anything in internet, was to save the page after a successful host activation. The main information you need are your cPanel login and password. All other information have been posted through out the forum and Xisto Readme (in case you miss it, look at my signature) has collected all for you. Don't sweat it.

The confirmation email is working fine. Check your bulk or spam mail section. You can add Xisto as not part of your filter.Cpanel login proces is working fine and all servers are at green. Please try again. Your hosting is set correct since I can see your default page.

You're a new comer so you are not up to speed on what's gonig on with our forum. Hang on... the voting may not be over yet. If a weekly voting and submitting gets too hectic, we can always do biweekly tournaments. Perhaps it was too much pressure to do every week, coming up with something new weekly was just too much.I am voting for SM, although he's not here. As you can see with Xisto's forum banner I've grown fond of mirror reflection. I guess dealing with many stationeries for my work, the choice of font represents a lot about the personality and presentation. I like SM's choice in fonts. And the sig background is very complex yet fits right in with the render and the reflected words.Counting Froglok's vote (who didn't follow the instruction )DjLuki: 0S_M: 2Avalon: 2

Since I don't have C or C++ complier anymore, I tried to do my own coding...but failed miserably so I searched the web to find some helpful tips and formulas. <html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"><title>Prime Number</title></head><body> <script LANGUAGE="JavaScript"><!-- Beginfunction calculate(form) {var num=parseInt(form.number.value);if (isNaN(num) || num < 0) {form.result.value=(form.number.value + " is not a valid number! It is divisible by " + i + ".");break;}if (num % i != 0) var prime="no";}if (prime == "no") form.result.value=(num + " is prime!");} // End --> </SCRIPT> <P align="left"> <div align="left"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="2" cellpadding="2"> <tr> <td> <div align="left"><font size=6><font size="+2" align=RIGHT color="#0000FF"><font color="#CC6600" size="+1">Prime Number</font></font><br> </font> <table border=0 width=486 cellpadding=3 cellspacing=0> <tr> <td>Enter a number and the Prime Number Calculator will instantly tell you if it is a prime number or not.</td> </tr> </table> </div> <form name=form> <div align="left"> <p>Please enter a number: <input type=text name=number size=10> <br> <input type=button value="Is it prime?" onClick="calculate(this.form)" name="button"> <input type=text name=result size=45 value=""> <br> </p> </div> </form> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>Prime numbers are positive, non-zero numbers that have exactly two factors -- no more, no less.</td> </tr> </table> </div></body></html> Try to see if you can use this to reverse engineer your For Loop.

In response to Google Earth, Microsoft has launched a new map site with stunning satellite images that beat Google's images. (for now) I couldn't believe how detailed it was when I looked up my house. It takes a bit of getting used to since the images are from an angle. However, the close up is way better than Google's map. http://www.bing.com/maps/ Click "Bird's Eye View" after going to a certain location.

The journey of two brothers taking on the big corporate giant Apple. One felt cheated so he went after the giant's head. And when the mighty giant fell perhaps it spun the wheel to fix and set everything in motion. A short film of how a person felt when his iPod failed to function just after 18 months of usage. The film documents the process of emotion and not the actual rebellion. http://casey.nyc/index.html

Nightly talk shows will do anything to make you laugh. Here is one case where one late night show goes out of the way and makes a skit about idiot user looking for help on his computer. The bottom line is that NBC has too much money to send this guy actually half way across the world. Take this clip as humor value only. There's no other undertone meaning to this except stupid script will earn some cheap laugher... Enjoy. By design or accident, it's a momentary eye opening moment when you look at this image that Google map has captured. Click here to see for yourself. Sometimes the best method that a man can think of ends up twisted than what it should be perceived as. Just keep in mind that this may have been some architectural planning and not to promote you know what. But then again, on the ground level you would never know if it shaped like that. So there might be a hidden agenda.

Verizon Dsl Offerings plentiful, but speed slow
BuffaloHelp replied to michaelper22's topic in General Discussion
I have had Verizon DSL since November 2004. This was when Verizon still charged $29.95 (USD) for 768 down and 128 up. When November 2005 came around I was eligible for the same plan at $14.95. Still the same speed with half the money. Excellent! I too experienced problems with speed. It's a well known fact that if you are living far away from your server node (that is, what Verizon call it as the closest server exchange station). But I'm living less than 1 mile. But my download speed kept dropping down to 256, 64 or even will not connect at all. When I called Verizon, they sent out a technician and started to test out my home phone jacks. It was fine (of course, I ran CAT6 and CAT5e for network and phone line, respectively). Then the technician tested out the outside (NID box) line and found that some wires were damaged due to prolonged weather exposure. After changing to updated wire standard, I now have 864 down and 160 up. And I have not lost a connection since then. Which led me to believe that I should have gotten 1.5mb down and 768 up when I was paying for $29.95 (because they told me I was getting the fastest service with that plan--which was 1.5mb speed). But due to poor quality line coming from the telephone pole to my house was never addressed, my speed was affected. I can access my DSL modem. It's from Westell and the model is 2200. Verizon isn't too happy for the fact that this information is out but you can access your modem by 192.168.1.1 and use the default password (if you never set your modem and used software to connect PPPoE) admin, password. You can then edit your login so that your modem can enter your DSL user ID and password for you. I did that so I don't have to run another software in my computer to connect. I have tested my speed http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest?loc=2 and at any given day/time I am 701 down and 131 up. Needless to say that I am very satisfied for $14.95 per month. -

Want To Switch Domains Not sure about what to do
BuffaloHelp replied to michaelper22's topic in Web Hosting Support
This is not the Vent section nor is related to this topic. However, you have to manually go back and change or adjust those links since you initially placed as busstop.trap17.com. It is something you have to labor instead of wishing that it changes automatically It's a simple URL link edit. Don't fret it.All your table and format will return to normal once you replace busstop.trap17.com with your current URL OR just use the / or ../ or folder/ etc. -

Questions About Proxy And Chat Hosting With Trap17
BuffaloHelp replied to gamez-n-fun's topic in Web Hosting Support
Placing proxies or chat script are not forbidden. However, please remember that you do have monthly bandwidth limit. Once you go over your monthly usage, it will be suspended until the beginning of the next month. There's no way to bypass this!Secondly, if anything that's against TOS shall pass through your chats (such as sending illegal copyright breaking information, transfer of illegal materials, information or all other such) or your proxy provides as gateway to activities against TOS your hosting will be terminated immediately and never to be hosted by us again.Furthermore, OpaQue has the final saying on what is allowed and what is not regards to chat scripts and proxies. -
Once more....Forum server and Hosting server are two different machines. When forum goes down it does NOT mean that your hosting is down. It has been this way since the beginning of Xisto's service. Please, let's not spread any myth or implication.
-
There were no hosting server issues for past few weeks. When you experience the next "server down" at your end, try pinging the hosting IP (64.69.46.210). If you do not receive a reply back, it's related to your ISP. Also, try opening your page using gamma.xisto.com/~yourCpanelName Here is the official link to server status for all Xisto Corporation. We're hosted by Gamma server.

Something Weird Has Happened To My Credit Count
BuffaloHelp replied to WDSnav's topic in Web Hosting Support
What's your current credit count? It should be high enough for you to activate.I have made adjustment to your forum account so that you do not need to reapply for hosting application. So you can go directly to the processing page.If you are experiencing difficulties, please PM me. -
Just for the record, you cannot transfer more than what you have. And you cannot transfer between non-hosting members. Only hosting members can transfer credits. And what does it mean by cannot transfer more than what you have? OpaQue's script has fail-safe check where you cannot transfer and possibly suspend your own account. Therefore, your credits are always protected from having net amount of 30 credits or below. This means, after desired transfer credits were entered and your net balance is less than 30, you will not be allowed to complete that transfer. So, in Albus Dumbledore's case, out of 33.75 credits you have you can only transfer 3.75 (since 30 of your credits are in protective state). It has been always like this. It's not part of the new credit system.
