I'll be honest--I have absolutely NO experience with graphics or the programs associated with making them. I was wondering if there was a program that was free for downloading that I could use to make better looking things than bitmap images in Paint. I've seen some of the tutorials which show the use of filters and other tools which I don't think actually exist in paint, and I think that if there was a open source or freeware program out there, I'd like to know about it so I could give it a shot.Such a program may have been mentioned already in one of the other threads, but I assure you I'm currently unaware of it.

Hi yar.I am looking for a couple of scripts.I would like a very simple mailing list script which i can intergrate into my current website. I need it in php and all i want is subscribe, unsubcribe and then a sending page so i can send an email using text only.I have looked in the cpanel but the only one there is very complicated, too complicated.Also I would like to create a link box within a picture. You will understand better if you visit my website (http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/). The pictures at the top have a random script on them, and so i need something which will select the home, about etc as a link.I have had a think and i think using flash is the best way of doing it. If you log into your gmail account they have added a new feature called chat.You download there program its quite similar to aimIt lets you talk to any gmail memberyou can also log your conversations into your gmail account.'I find this quite intresting how google seems to do everythingNext they will probally become an isp and an webhost.who knows whats next...
