No it's not a same issue.Wizkidda, you misspelled your sub-domain name. You're missing .com at the end (looking at your registration process) and thus it caused to register as just twuforums.trap17You will need to change your sub-domain/domain by using the Process page and this time please pay attention to your typing and all pop-up alert messages. This process will cost you 15 hosting credits.Thank you.

Moving to Software section.Let's get one thing straight.. MP3 is already compressed format of WAVE format. Do you want to compress it again?MP3 is a set standard of compression method. This means one MP3 converter software will not result smaller file size than another converter software. But what you can do is the sampling sequence. Instead of CBR, constant bit rate, you can do VBR a variable bit rate. VBR will save few % of the total size but not recommended when going lower than 96kbps rate. It will result in audible distortion. By the way, some people can notice distortion even at 128kbps, so at 24 or 32 kbps I can only imagine how terrible it might've sound. If you're trying to put musics to your phone, try searching for ringtone format of that song. Ringtones are in different format and only utilizes crucial wave instruments to make a music (an advance form of MIDI). Otherwise your best bet is to have external card (mini-sd) and place all your musics in there.

the aggie10,Please learn to search the forum before posting questions that you think it's not here. The chances are it's already covered. Read Xisto Readme FIRST.When you reach ZERO credits and lower, you cannot access your account (either cPanel or FTP) and your site is suspended. Your site is automatically un-suspended when you bring yourself out of ZERO or NEGATIVE into 4 hosting credits, and then wait about 1 hour. Until the reanimation of your site, your files are safe. When your hosting credit reaches -30 everything is deleted and hosting terminated. Nothing can be recovered by then.Topic closed.

Sites Disapeard, Mysql Errors? Also Server Folders Deleted
BuffaloHelp replied to special's topic in Web Hosting Support
Do not spread rumors with situation that you're not familar. If cPanel is easily compromised as you are accusing, don't you think Xisto's 200+ members haven't already experienced it? Why is that just your account is affected? This was the reason why I listed few scenarios. Please do not post with opinions that you cannot explain with a proof. IE7 is still under Beta testing phase and cannot auto secure with security authentication unless it is manually established. Do not blame Xisto or cPanel. Your hosting account was compromised out side of Xisto control--this means either someone found out your password or performed injection that which your scripts were vulnerable. Let me guide you with directives: 1) cPanel was never reported as compromised 2) if you think an account was compromised, it's because someone had the right password 3) someone could not have had your password because your PC is secure, so what? Then it was an injection attack on your script(s) 4) my scripts were secure so it could not have been that. So someone exploited my account. Then see #1 To terminate your hosting go to the same Process page https://support.xisto.com/ which you used to create an account. It helps to read *everything* about Xisto I just read your application, so this topic is now closed. -
Sites Disapeard, Mysql Errors? Also Server Folders Deleted
BuffaloHelp replied to special's topic in Web Hosting Support
Looking at your directory structure, you're missing many original folders and files that were established while initial hosting account setup. This can be done only two ways: 1) someone had access to cPanel, deleted and dumpted recycle bin or 2) someone deleted using FTP. FTP leaves no trace of activity unless you enable FTP log. Before you go on and say things like, 'no one has access to your account except for person(s) you trust' this is the only way it could have been done' at the current directory structure that is the only explanation. Always keep your username and password safely guarded. Maybe a keylogger snatched your password? Who knows. I am not at your computer. But my speculation is that someone deleted them using FTP. If someone deleted by using cPanel, your whole account would have been compromised including your database, redirect etc.To restore your original files and structures, you have to terminate your current hosting and reapply for another one. -
I don't know how you are typing all these words just using PSP (I've tried in the past and boy it was hard) but as long as you can contribute quality posts with lengthy contents, you can request without the official form.I will make an exception for you this time.

Suggestion was very good... but before you go any further, Xisto already has dedicated "SHOW OFF" section just for this occasion. :)Why do you think Xisto forum created Show Off for Hosted by Xisto and, especially, the NONE-hosted by Xisto section. It is/was because what the other post said--Xisto works for huge traffic interaction. And Xisto offers free traffic gathering using Xisto forum, as long as members are willing to contribute with quality. Please feel free to look through *ALL* of Xisto forum sections.

Well, the tool is there but what it needs is how people will be using it. For example, you can host pictures for ebay items...save pictures in ImageFilez instead of your website to save on space and bandwidth, let other people see your uploaded image(s) and have it rated etc... The limitation is your imagination.

Although adjusting partition at this stage is risky (because you may ruin the whole file and partition sturcture) it can be done. One of the popular programs out there is called Partition Magic. Its use spans from all major computer tech shops and anyone who is willing to brave the "reformat" back-up plan.Partition Magic is pretty secure and offers trial version download. Try it on D and E drive first. You want to make sure it works before you adjust C drive.By the way, cool avatar

Hummm yes you're right. Is there a way to calculate viewer's time zone? Perhaps two options: 1) view in correct time zone according to a visitor 2) view in correct time zone according to event holder After making this post, a quick search revealed bool date_default_timezone_set ( string timezone_identifier )Lists of timezone_identifier http://php.net/manual/en/timezones.php Let's see if I can use this. **UPDATE** Modifying the initial time value, I was able to offset the server time and my time zone difference. //This gets today's date$date =time () + (60 * 60 * -4);This offsets -4 hours to reflect GMT-4. Since the value time() returns as Unix Epoch (in total seconds) I simply offset $date with 4 hours as units in seconds. The next step is to see if this can be done using viewer's individual time zone.

The acquisition of ImageFilez by Xisto Corporation, the parent company of Xisto, was finalized on the end of August 2006. And as you can see, the easy upload tool bar can be found near the header/shoutbox area. ImageFilez is similar to ImageShack or Photobucket. You can upload different file types, resize images and use it as free image hosting facility. It's a great tool when you want to save your precious bandwidth usage. Please feel free to signup and create a new account. If there are any suggestions post your thoughts here. Thank you everyone and keep supporting Xisto Corporation!

Yes, the same unresulting searches lead me to develop this little trick myself. Looks like there aren't many sports related practical web scripts out there. Hummm... a possible opportunity to make on goods? And it wasn't that other PHP calendars weren't good enough. In fact EasyPHPCalendar was just super. But to use such over complexed script for few small sports leagues was not my intention. And to relate Yahoo! calendar (which what my teammates use anyway) already familiar with my team was the natural choice. Google calendar wasn't as easy as Yahoo! calendar to be utilized anyway. Yahoo! calendar also allows other Yahoo! users to add or modify one event calendar. This is useful when allowing multiple captains to have control over a season's league sessions. jlhaslip, how about highlighting days i.e., all Tuesdays, Tuesday thur Saturday or just the working days. **UPDATE** I have made few adjustments to highlight or make HREF link appear only for certain days of the week. The new addition to the code $shadeday = date('D' , $unixtime);if ($shadeday != "Sun" && $shadeday != "Mon" && $shadeday != "Sat") By adding this simple condition, I can let my CLASS to be used only Tuesday thru Friday. The modified code <style type="text/css"> <!--@import url("css.css"); --> </style> <body> Highlighting only certain days of the week<br /><br /> <?php //--my addition to Yahoo variables $yahoo = "http://calendar.mail.yahoo.com/Xisto.demo"; //This gets today's date $date =time () ; //This puts the day, month, and year in seperate variables $day = date('d', $date) ; $month = date('m', $date) ; $year = date('Y', $date) ; //Here we generate the first day of the month $first_day = mktime(0,0,0,$month, 1, $year) ; //This gets us the month name $title = date('F', $first_day) ; //Here we find out what day of the week the first day of the month falls on $day_of_week = date('D', $first_day) ; //Once we know what day of the week it falls on, we know how many blank days occure before it. //If the first day of the week is a Sunday then it would be zero switch($day_of_week){ case "Sun": $blank = 0; break; case "Mon": $blank = 1; break; case "Tue": $blank = 2; break; case "Wed": $blank = 3; break; case "Thu": $blank = 4; break; case "Fri": $blank = 5; break; case "Sat": $blank = 6; break; } //We then determine how many days are in the current month $days_in_month = cal_days_in_month(0, $month, $year) ; //Here we start building the table heads echo "<table border=1 width=250>"; echo "<tr><th colspan=7> $title $year </th></tr>"; echo "<tr> <td width=35 align=center>S</td> <td width=35 align=center>M</td> <td width=35 align=center>T</td> <td width=35 align=center>W</td> <td width=35 align=center>T</td> <td width=35 align=center>F</td> <td width=35 align=center>S</td> </tr>"; //This counts the days in the week, up to 7 $day_count = 1; echo "<tr>"; //first we take care of those blank days while ( $blank > 0 ) { echo "<td></td>\n"; $blank = $blank-1; $day_count++; } //sets the first day of the month to 1 $day_num = 1; //count up the days, untill we've done all of them in the month while ( $day_num <= $days_in_month ) { //--my addition to Yahoo variables 2 $unixtime = mktime(0,0,0,$month,$day_num,$year); $shadeday = date('D' , $unixtime); if ($shadeday != "Sun" && $shadeday != "Mon" && $shadeday != "Sat") { echo "<td><a class='navigation' target='_blank' href='$yahoo/?v=0&t=$unixtime'> $day_num </a></td>\n"; } else { echo "<td> $day_num </td>\n"; } $day_num++; $day_count++; //Make sure we start a new row every week if ($day_count > 7) { echo "</tr><tr>\n"; $day_count = 1; } } //Finaly we finish out the table with some blank details if needed while ( $day_count >1 && $day_count <=7 ) { echo "<td> </td>"; $day_count++; } echo "</tr></table>"; ?> </body> You can view the working script here

HA HA HA!Clever. The "end" in dual meanings, that was clever. The end as in the termination of the internet service and the end as in the final destination...thus no more link :)I first read this topic title thinking we're all going to have to actually find something to do in the real life. Phew~ thank goodness. I live in all binary codes one more day.

Who is to say even this isn't some software that can benefit the provider of this program? this above statement worries me a bit. By letting my FireFox to search periodically, will this be transparent in the background or will my browser actually run a search? And if so is there a hidden code that these random searches make deposits to perhaps the creator of this program? In the age of clever spywares and hijackers I have to give these thoughts. It's only inevitable. The best solution is using caution and common sense when web surfing. Furthermore, chosing an option to clear cache and history when closing the web browser will help to protect info-hijackers.

Original simple PHP calendar source here I was looking for a simple PHP generated calendar. But I wanted to place detailed information to show on demand. And installing another database with separate management would have been too much of access codes and passwords to remember. And what if I want someone else to manage the calendar when I am not able? This is my version of using simple PHP calendar script to link to Yahoo! calendar. The twist is that figuring out how Yahoo! calendar selection worked. And then depending on which date was clicked it will bring up the appropriate date/week on Yahoo! calendar. First step was to understand the url. When checking the status bar I noticed //calendar.mail.yahoo.com/Xisto.demo/?v=1&t=1157068800. The values of v as follows: v=0 : day view v=1 : week view v=2 : month view ...etc The values of t as follows: t values were assigned in total seconds in Unix Epoch time format starting from January 1, 1970. It took me about 8 hours to figure out how this worked. The logic I used was to figure out how to translate any given day number to unix seconds correctly. This will give an approximate time value for Yahoo! calendar to display correctly. echo "<td bgcolor=#f2f2f2><a class='navigation' target='_blank' href='$yahoo/?v=0&t=$unixtime'> $day_num </a></td>\n";This is the clickable link the script will generate using above values. $clickdate = unixtojd(mktime(0,0,0,$month,$day_num,$year))I found this code accidently that this will translate any $month, $day_num and $year set by the script. This was the hard part. Assign this to a variable. $unixtime = jdtounix($clickdate);Once a desired date's unix time was located, it must be re-translated back to Unix Epoch time format. Note that when you just use unixtojd, it will return time value that does not match to the right number of digits. It's because Unix Epoch counts seconds from january 1, 1970. So let's say you want to find Unix Epoch of September 1, 2006, you have to figure out the total second difference between these two dates Too much of work. But when unix time was found for julian date, you can then turn unix time to Unix Epoch value. $yahoo = "http://calendar.mail.yahoo.com/Xisto.demo";To make my code user friendly, I have assigned the link to Yahoo! calendar as a variable. And the complete code goes like this. I modified from the original to insert a color <?php//--my addition to Yahoo variables$yahoo = "http://calendar.mail.yahoo.com/Xisto.demo";//This gets today's date$date =time ();//This puts the day, month, and year in seperate variables$day = date('d', $date);$month = date('m', $date);$year = date('Y', $date);//Here we generate the first day of the month$first_day = mktime(0,0,0,$month, 1, $year);//This gets us the month name$title = date('F', $first_day);//Here we find out what day of the week the first day of the month falls on$day_of_week = date('D', $first_day);//Once we know what day of the week it falls on, we know how many blank days occure before it. //If the first day of the week is a Sunday then it would be zeroswitch($day_of_week){case "Sun": $blank = 0; break;case "Mon": $blank = 1; break;case "Tue": $blank = 2; break;case "Wed": $blank = 3; break;case "Thu": $blank = 4; break;case "Fri": $blank = 5; break;case "Sat": $blank = 6; break;}//We then determine how many days are in the current month$days_in_month = cal_days_in_month(0, $month, $year);//Here we start building the table headsecho "<table border=1 width=250>";echo "<tr><th colspan=7> $title $year </th></tr>";echo "<tr><td width=35 align=center>S</td><td width=35 align=center>M</td><td width=35 align=center>T</td><td width=35 align=center>W</td><td width=35 align=center>T</td><td width=35 align=center>F</td><td width=35 align=center>S</td></tr>";//This counts the days in the week, up to 7$day_count = 1;echo "<tr>";//first we take care of those blank dayswhile ( $blank > 0 ){echo "<td></td>\n";$blank = $blank-1;$day_count++;}//sets the first day of the month to 1$day_num = 1;//count up the days, untill we've done all of them in the monthwhile ( $day_num <= $days_in_month ){//--my addition to Yahoo variables 2$clickdate = unixtojd(mktime(0,0,0,$month,$day_num,$year)); $unixtime = jdtounix($clickdate);echo "<td bgcolor=#f2f2f2><a class='navigation' target='_blank' href='$yahoo/?v=0&t=$unixtime'> $day_num </a></td>\n";$day_num++;$day_count++;//Make sure we start a new row every weekif ($day_count > 7){echo "</tr><tr>\n";$day_count = 1;}}//Finaly we finish out the table with some blank details if neededwhile ( $day_count >1 && $day_count <=7 ){echo "<td> </td>";$day_count++;}echo "</tr></table>";?> Since this is a simple table generating sequence, it will obey all your CSS template Which is a very good thing. You can insert HREF class for the link. See the working model here calendar Next project modification idea - making hover effect to show different options, i.e. view in month/week/day. Give it a try... **UPDATE** Looks like instead of translating and re-translating you can simply use $unixtime = mktime(0,0,0,$month,$day_num,$year);now that I understand how mktime() works

On lines 16 and 17, are you sure you have those quotes used correctly? Try using this way echo "<?xml version=\'1.0\'?>"; echo "<!DOCTYPE wml PUBLIC \'-//WAPFORUM//DTD WML 1.1//EN\\'http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/;; That got rid of most of my errors. But since I don't have those files it requests for I cannot test it further. And line 45 and 93 it should be <?PHP When you need to switch from PHP script to HTML script you can use PRINT or ECHO rather than going in and out of PHP. It looks like some of IF conditions are redundant at some point. But it's WAP related so I guess it could be correct.
