When the concept of webhosting initially started it was all directed to public_html folder. But as time past and your average soccer-mom decided to get creative with making websites, the service provider of Unix/Linx based host started to provide friendlier computer terms. WWW folder is the shortcut to public_html since public_html isn't really intuitive. They are the same thing. WWW folder will lead into public_html folder but not vice versa.

Yes I agree with your idea that it should be made more visible.In the past I ran 3 awards giving posts and the responses were less than pars. The all three were pinned topics. With all that moderating events, I am now coming to a conclusion that pinned topics are overlooked by members just as unpinned topics. It's only visible to those who are actually searching through each individual forum sections that pinned topics are noticed. Now, I'm not implicating any thing when I say pinned topics go unnoticed. Majority of members really search the forum. I personally feel that only a hand full of topics should be pinned. Not to say that topics made by staff members are pinned, but only real critical messages should be pinned so that a topic isn't swept away by other newer topics. And there's fun and building a good habit of searching the forum and recognizing newest topics and recently made topics. It's a smaller version of scavenger hunt.

Given that you have Domain A, Domain B and Domain C. 1) Set all nameserver for Domain A, B and C to ns1 and ns2 dot Xisto - Web Hosting.com2) Create subdomain under your cPanel for Domain B and C3) You will now have folder B and C showing up in your root directory (now you can name your folder anyway you want. You can even make a folder for Doman A)4) Access the domain control and set the Domain B to redirect http://ww38.yoursite.com/ B and Domain C to http://ww38.yoursite.com/ C5) you can set email alias (additional email address) but they will all say user@maindomain.com where "maindomain" is the domain name you initially registered with Xisto - Web Hosting.6) You can set additional FTP accounts that only access certain folders (subdomains in this case).You won't be able to have user@domain.com and user@anotherdomain.com since this is only possible under WHM (Web Hosting Manager) service that can turn your hosting into host service for additional domains. And installing any software that mimics your hosting service by Xisto - Web Hosting to act like WHM is against TOS. If you want to achieve total separate hosting service, contact Xisto - Web Hosting for shared hosting plan. For very minimal price, you can have 3 or 4 hosting space which then can be configured to do exactly what you want.

Well, from the actual design point of view the car cannot make a turn. The wheel base diameter is larger than the fender and will hinder from making proper turns. The IP address you provided is the cache server that your ISP runs though. The IP address resolves to BTnet Company. So unless you're not living in GB, your ISP is using that service to connect you to the internet world. And if it's actually a cache server, than you're not the only one who's using it at the moment. Thus, likely that you'll have to wait until whoever is finish using the same cache server.

You should've received the confirmation email, containing all information including your chosen password, to the email you provided when signing up the forum. Check the bulk folder as well. If you can't find it, you can reset your cPanel password with 10 hosting credits by going to the process page https://support.xisto.com/ and select your cPanel password to be reset.

Yes. You lose 1 credit every 24 hours. Your site first will go to SUSPENSION mode when your credit reaches zero. And every 24 hours thereafter, you'll see credit constantly reducing by 1. So, after you hit zero, two days later will be -2 in hosting credit. Once suspended, you need to have at least 4 credits to bring your site out of suspension. It usually takes about 1 hour after you reach the target credit number. Your account is automatically deleted and terminated when you reach -30 credits, or 30 days of suspension. All your files are deleted then and cannot be retrieved. Yes. You can gain 100 credits and remain inactive in the forum if you wish. Although Xisto encourages every member to be active in regular bases, you may choose to collect as much credits as you wish as long as you're not spamming or breaking board posting rules. Once you gain your credits, it will not diminish except for the normal minus 1 credit per every 24 hour period. And your credit will roll over to the next month. The bottom line is that there's no restriction how many credits you can earn. See answer #2. The only way your site is deleted is either you neglected to be active for over 30 days since your suspension or you broke Terms Of Service. When you break TOS, you will not be allowed to host again under the same forum user. When you break TOS for the second time, you will be banned from our network. You must wait about 24-72 hours until your nameserver properly propagates through out the internet. Until then, you won't see your site. You can immediately see your site by typing gamma.xisto.com/~cPanelName and access cPanel by http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ If you do not own your own domain, you're getting 1 subdomain, and under that unlimited subdomains. For example, 1-yourSite.trap17.com and unlimited-xxxx.yourSite.trap17.com. And the rest is yes, it's all true. No forced ad banner and it's all for free.
