  1. Currently your email is set to go cpanelname@yourdomain.comYou may create new email address by accessing your cPanel and creating a new alias. You can then use it to forward to another email address or to check via web based email service that Xisto offers.Check:1. Add/Remove Email address2. Alias/Forward Email address
  2. Reading through important topics found, especially in Xisto Readme, would be advised for you next time before making a topic that has been already discussed, rediscussed and re-rediscussed. Search the forum before making any new post. This will save you time and headache of waiting for an answer. Every hosted member should know by now, if you have been a member for at least longer than 1 month, that most questions regarding hosting regulation has been posted and discussed. Refrain from asking the same question over and over again.
  3. guangdian,It's been months since Xisto announced the server shift and its new IP address. It's 64.69.46.210. Please read all Alerts and Notices section and pay attention to announcements. This will ensure that you are having no difficulties in using Xisto's service to the fullest.
  4. Merry Trap-mas everyone! Thanks all for posting nothing but the goodness to the forum and the world. I will be awarding your Trap-mas presents shortly. See this post http://forums.xisto.com/topic/29843-trap-mas-2005-trap17s-own-christmas-celebration/ to see what will be coming your way. This thread is now closed. Whether you celebrate other than what I celebrate, I wish you the utmost healthful and blessful New Year. It is because I celebrate Christmas, I say a Merry Christmas hoping that you understand it as the utmost holiest power to be bestowed upon each and everyone of you (and not subjecting you to my religion).
  5. Symptom #1: the nameservers might be down as my domain is unreachable as well.Symptom #2: you can always access your files by typing gamma.xisto.com/~yourCpanelName and/or gamma.xisto.com/~yourCpanelName/folder/file... However, none of your files are showing. This leads me to believe that you have either set the wrong permission and/or you have modified .htaccess file somehow to block all incoming HTTP request.
  6. Thank you all for compliments. This cPanel is strictly a demo since on the first login page seems to be somewhat active but the rest of pages (links) are only a snap shot of the actual pages you will see. And thus, it is demonstrating the cPanel features. uiop, My page is loading just fine. Perhaps there was a glitch when you were trying to load. Please check it again.
  7. I encourage you to have more substance to your post, whether the post is counted or not.
  8. I have noticed your topic here http://forums.xisto.com/topic/31412-need-flash-help-a-flash-dedicated-board/ and found this topic as well. Refrain from posting in the wrong forum or making double subjects. This Entertainment section is for sharing flash clips and not promoting one's site. This topic is closed.
  9. guangdian,Since your question poses subject that is aginst Xisto's TOS, the discussion ends here. Please do not hijack the thread.
  10. This article cannot explain it any eaiser https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth But let's talk about its possibilities. When Motorola first instroduced this technology, circa 2004, to their cellphone V710, I had the rare opportunity to meet with the marketing directors for some presentations. I was blown away. And the applicability for this short wave radio frequency device would be cosmic. Short months thereafter, I heard a rumor that Lexus incorporated this device to their high end cars that equipted with automatic door unlock feature. The owner's key contains Bluetooth high encrypted key transmitter and the according to the proximity of this signal and the handle sensor would unlock the car, adjust settings such as mirrors, seat recline, according to the key 'codes' and even tune to the radio station if the driver should wished. How about in the medical field? Carrying a simple, small device with all your vital information stored that can be read and accessed by hospital administrators just by getting the read out--that's like that Star Trek's bio-rhythem scanners (I don't know the actual name for the but this sounds pretty cool, don't you think? ) And since it works with conjuction of radio frequency and high encrypted key generating instruction, they say that Bluetooth is yet to be hacked. It is my understanding that this technology is the greatest concept since the arrival of floppy discs Of course, I should mention all those currently existing wonderful devices, such as, Bluetooth mouse, microphone, head set, web cam, and keyboard
  11. You are not violating any TOS since you are free to install whatever you'd like on your hosting space. However, after reading zPanel's features, you will violate Xisto TOS if you modified zPanel to provide your own hosting service under Xisto's hosting space. Meaning, if you break your hosting space to host for others, using any means to obtain this, is clearly violating TOS and your account will immediately be terminated and banned from Xisto sites.Be warned that since zPanel also creates its own .htaccess file once installed you may see some complications due to that feature. Please approach with utmost caution.
  12. It depends on which shoutbox you're trying to install. This board installed Dean's shoutbox. And basically you need to access your ACP and root directory to add, insert and modify files. Those are all listed in the installation package. The installation package also includes where and how to edit files. You must be willing to sit through and read them carefully. Dean's site also provides installation help. But then again, you didn't specify which shoutbox you were trying to install... so there goes your precious time.Next time please post with all necessary detail information.
  13. Your faisalabad.be is not pointing to Xisto's hosting site. So the questions are: 1) When you activated your hosting account which domain name did you put down? Your application says one thing and you're currently referring to another. When you access your cPanel you can see which domain name you associated with your hosting (on the left hand side) 2) The nameserver is not correct for Xisto. It's still pointing to EuroDNS. Access your domain control and change the nameserver to ns1.trap17.com and ns2.trap17.com. Wait 24~72 hours to update and you shall see your page. In the mean time I can see your page just fine by typing http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  14. The correct IP address is http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ for your cPanel access. Since you have your own domain name you need to give some time until your domain name propagates. It may take up to 72 hours since your modification to the servername change.
  15. Try it again. Sometimes the email server goes down. Give some times and it will restore itself.
  16. This thread is dead and left by members that are no longer with Xisto.com. Closed and will not open again. Search the forum and continue your discussion there.
  17. The default index page is still up, and that's why you were seeing that previous post message. You must replace the default index.html page. And I'll make it easy for you. First DELETE all index page under the folder public_html. Then upload YOUR index page under the folder public_html. The next time you type JUST your URL (yoursite.trap17.com) without /index your intended index page will show up.The confusion is that index can have HTML and HTM extension. And HTML is read first followed by HTM extension... then SHTML, PHP etc.

Hello Megahalo,Welcome to Xisto. In few short hours you'll be greeted by our memebers and their advices regarding how to navigate through out our forum. 19. Please send an email to support@Xisto.com Please include your cpanel name, your site URL and detailed yet brief description of your problem and events taken place since the suspension. Thank you.
  20. I'm not sure if you have changed anything since your last post, but I have used your setting to make another account under my Outlook. And I was able to send mail out but incoming mail is not functioning. And it's because I don't have your cPanel user name and password... probably that's why I can only send but not receive.
  21. Discussion already started here http://forums.xisto.com/topic/29936-playstation-3-disccusions-on-ps3/ Search the forum before making a new topic next time. Topic closed. Please continue your discussion at above link.
  22. Ouch... what a blow to my ego. I was so sure that should have worked I know you were able to receive test email but just to double check, here is the link to set up Outlook with your email service http://forums.xisto.com/topic/29059-mail-settings-to-configure-outlook-express-common-mistakes-by-members/ Are they almost congruent with yours?
  23. Hi starryrainbow,As far as choosing your plan, plan#1 would be the fastest one to get started since it only requires for your to have 10 to be qualified. However, if you need more space than 20mb then you would need additional 30 credits to upgrade. If you can wait and want to have 150mb hosting space, it is better to save for plan#2 (30 credits to be qualified). And thereafter, stay active in the forum to continue to keep your hosting. That's it. No strings attached. All you need to do is keep active in the form at your own time.If there are other questions, search the forum or visit Xisto README in my signature link. You can also use the shoutbox or PM moderators.
  24. OpaQue was in the middle of forum migration and the Xisto has moved to a dedicated server. After server shift, the IP address for the Xisto.com has changed so it will take some time for other members to see Xisto.com and its forum. For the rest of lucky people we are able to see it right away. Please be patient during server propagation. Your site will return with blazing speed in no time.
  25. You received this error because you used a special character for your subdomain name, i.e. hyphen. Your hosting application did not contain any special character and so should your activation process. Please do not use underscore or hyphen or any other none-alpha-numeric characters for both cPanel and subdomain name. Besides, that should be self-explanatory. Pick another subdomain name. Thank you.
