  1. Well I would say the "100% protection" is just a bit stretched out, in other words very protected. With a bit of smarts, you won't really need half of the software protective junk unless a nasty manages to slip in, I recently had a real nasty one, it didn't do much but no anti virus, or anti spyware etc could get rid of it, it required a lot of manual messing around and thinking etc.
  2. Many *mistakes* go punished for a reason, getting into such routines and habits, such as thievery is not a good one, punishment deters a lot of people from it.If no one does, what reason would they have to stop?
  3. Plastic blood huh, that sounds rather complicated lol.I'm sure there is a bit more to it than plastic though.Hopefully I will never need it's assistance lol, just sounds eery eh.
  4. Looks pretty good to me at a first glance.Might consider expanding it, to explain some of the code for the newbies out there, maybe some of the functions etc you use?Or perhaps just a bit more in-depth as to what each bits and bobs do.
  5. Yeah I was just confused on someone telling me i'm bashing christians when I had been saying catholics for many posts lol.A type of christian? you are kidding, they have sub genre's........ just like the music scene these days *sigh* lol.
  6. Ermm, pretty sure I was talking about catholic's mate?Catholic's are christians? (why don't they just use one name sheesh). But it's all on a related topic and I didn't spark the argument, so think about not just pin pointing 1 eh.Back to it.
  7. Nothing wrong with that me thinks. But if he didn't do those things..... he had jesus somehow, and jesus did all the good stuff. So, why worship god at all? lol.If the above was the case, what reason is there to think anything of this god.
  8. Who on this earth actually uses the term "all" literally when talking about a subject that no one can prove or disprove to any extent..... I thought you were at least smarter than that .P.S. I have been told by catholics themselves, that the religion itself believes in god and that he created basically more or less everything, or at least our beginnings. This is supposed to be a standard thing, that's what they have all been telling me, are they wrong? Or do you choose to just be different (and non catholic really).
  9. I haven't read the article itself, but dang that's an odd bug to have, though hopefully not many people, if any at all, should have any real problems.
  10. Perl is just like PHP for the most part, they end up doing the same stuff really, more or less.I can't stand Python or Ruby, but I'm pretty sure they are not web driven like PHP and Perl are.C is just more universal, an actual programming language that has code compiled into a native executable program for an operating system. (not interpreted any higher than such).C is also the older non OOP (Object Oriented Programming), then again go for it, if you do not require anything more object oriented specific (while I do use a C++ compiler, I don't actually use much that is specific to it).Visual Basic and Object Pascal (as well as their .NET variants) are also another option on the programming scale.
  11. Yeah that's basically what I was thinking lol. What do you want to do with the image really? Did you take it yourself or is it the work of someone else?(It's a nice photo by the way).
  12. You could certainly make a text based game using Game Maker, it would just take a little more than your average programming in order to get the same affect.Game Maker can be confusing for anyone without any programming or major interface experience, and understand of those basic concepts (even the drag and drop interface requires basic knowledge of switches, and you'll need a good understand of different graphics, sounds etc, there types and of course their features). It also has scripting which is very handy, if you take the time to learn it, much better than doing the whole thing drag and drop style.I still prefer to use a programming language (or even flash for very small and non intensive games).
  13. Well I haven't had a chance to load up the page yet (it's loading now, but my ISP has capped my speed to craptastic dial up.......).Anyway, I recently saw a short movieclip (a few minutes in length before being capped), that shows something similar to this being on show, you could use your hands and stuff (I think), to move around a massive table of images and even see a somewhat 3d representation of each individual image.I think it's fairly different, but also one of those newer things out there.I'm not much into digital camera's or mobile phones, but it sounds useful and fun to play with!
  14. I am no fan of any religion, but even if yours one day turns out to be utter crap like I think it will, you sounds like you have your head on straight either way.Religions have some arseholes? if only, unless ones like the original poster are hiding from me, busy well not making a fuss over it all lol.I got ones condemming and trying to convert me and my missus both left, right and center, parents that are christian (yet have commited adultery on several occasions, smoke, drink, marijuana).....I suppose being a *sinner* can't make you unreligious, all every person on the planet would be guilty, but it has to stop somewhere right?I would consider a christian, to be someone that doesn't rave around about it, push it around to everyone, has there head tightly screwed to there shoulders, and can make decisions for themselves, and not use a book as an excuse .

If you have any experience programming in Flash, why not do it yourself? There are some simple functions for loading up external flash movie content, into your own flash movie (it's probably endless, aside from how much the Virtual Machine and your machine can handle).I would have a go at it, but I don't have any of my programming tools etc installed right now, though I really will have to get around to it soon, as I have been getting bored really bad without them lol.
  16. Yeah that is true, I am getting a bit low for the first time in over a year (maybe 2 or more years actually I think), but I haven't been able to get around too much with my ISP capping my speed barely a week within each month (down to 64kbps, although seemingly slower).Other than my own problems lol, I don't see anything else wrong with the crediting system, although I have noticed some lengthy-ish and content filled posts of mine in the post get a very low credit in-take, but I don't really sit around here worrying about it.But overall I would say it's fine, and short posts certainly won't attract much at all, as others have said.
  17. "i am catholic",That being a considerably standard religion, do catholics not believe in god? Therefore my assumptions would be 100% accurate , how can you be religious (of most types) without believing in some form of god?I haven't heard of any yet lol, certainly not christians, catholics, muslims etc.
  18. Ummm you find it ridiculous for a human being (a man in particular), to be brainwashed, yet you believe in an all mighty god that supposedly created everything (who created him/her/it?) with no proof of it being even remotely possible......Riiiigghhttttttt, that's some great logic there lmfao!!!!!
  19. Pure Binary Code, somehow I doubt that, unless it's length involved lol.
  20. I wouldn't buy an iPod, nor will I ever buy an iPhone, or an iMac or anything that starts with i, particularly Apple based products.I like my cheap little 1gb MP3 Player, it's small (fit's in jean hip pocket), I can navigate through several pairs of pants (so I need not remove it from the pocket), has more than enough space for MP3's (who on earth stores 20gb+ of frigging songs in a player that does not have some form of sophisticated scroller and/or music management, honestly, what's the point? you going to sit there for 10 minutes just scrolling through 500 songs to find the one you want to listen too).I would rather carry a PC mouse around all day just to scroll the darn thing lol.Plus mine cost me $40.
  21. My grandmother has (or rather had I should say), bowel cancer (it happens to run on the female side of the family, asthma hits the males, yeah I got asthma, nearly died a multitude of times when I was a kid, if it were not for those noisy *bottom* ventilation machines).Anyway, if I remember correctly, my grandmother never had chemo therapy, she did however nearly die twice in a short period of time, they surgically removed the cancer but it came back, the second time however (as far as anyone knows yet), it is no completely gone for good.I don't know a whole lot about either of the procedures, but it seems the surgical route worked out well for my grandmother, it was a pain and and she felt as though she would lose her life a few times, but the ordeal came to an end pretty quickly (as compared to how long I could imagine going for chemo therapy treatment would take).
  22. Well I use something called Accuenitx (or something very similar to that name) Vulnerability web scanner. Now while I wouldn't really recommend it for testing out on a large website already published, if you have happened to, or decide in the future to build your web sites/applications locally, you could run a full on test and it won't take forever (as it will be 100 times or more quicker on local disk, than accessing and thrashing both yours and the server bandwidth).
  23. Yeah, I am also for Adobe Photoshop (haven't taken a look at the newer CS3 yet, I heard rumor they messed around a little too much with the GUI).I do like Adobe Photoshop CS2 though (the first of the series I have ever used) and I would put it above everything else (unless the price is a problem, and damn it is not cheap lol).In the past I mostly used Microsoft Paint (it's still the best for anything basic and even sometimes more advanced things, mostly for ease of use and how simplistic the interface is), but I did try things like Jasc's (I believe?) Paint Shop Pro, but I never ever got along with that program.I would also recommend Ultimate Paint, I would not go as far as to say it is anywhere near as feature filled as Photoshop from the get go, but it is fairly easy to use, not expensive (the light/trial version is just fine aside from some blocked filters and such), and works well especially for things like graphics file format conversion, good resizing, very high level of zoom in and out, transparency, very useful for pixel level editing (like if you were sprite editing for example) etc.I also like GIF Movie Gear, mostly for optimizing GIF's, but it is very useful if you have the urge to mess around with, or create animated GIF files, and setting up transparency (even for multiple colours) just could not be much simpler.Well that's all that I can think of at the moment, I haven't really got on to things like GIMP or the like just yet, but I suppose I should check those out at some point (I have seen it being recommended quite a lot).
  24. If it doesn't happen right on boot, then I would test various applications of various functionality (is it a processor intensive program, video, audio, disk) etc. Also Windows Movie Maker (and anything like it), I have always found to be ridiculously unstable.
  25. Yeah pretty much lol.Finding out where it all started would be by no means a simple task, the very thought of it makes my head hurt .
