  3. 2.4GHz?! Just to run a household? Wow, it must be good :DMy brother is mad over sims 2, infact, he scratched MY installation disk! - i can barely wait for sims 3, i have nearly every expansion pack for the first version, and my brother has most of them (night life, pets and a bunch of others) for the second.Sims is ok, but they should make a conjoined one, where you are playing sims on the xbox 360 (controlling the movements) and importing citys from sim city 4!My ideal game is first person sims, with violent weapons and deaths! wohoo
  4. Wow, very believable (yet even though it is real) but at the same time, he was a stupid man for not getting a license. He was just asking for it really. There are some weird people out there though, and you gotta pretty stupid to go to someones house to have a checkup!
  5. Wait? Dont you mean a rug? Since it would be rather pointless placing a whole carpet on top, you might aswell have just got carpet in the first place Well we have a kirby + shampooer , and i guess yeah, we have a dog and it used to pee all over the place but now thats stopped and she leaves hairs all over the place - so my mum got fed up with it and bought wood..
  6. I need to know peoples opinion what they would prefer - carpet or wood (or laminate)Me and my parents were argueing on what to put down on the floor, but obviously the parents always win and so they bought wooden flooring for the WHOLE downstairs Personally im a carpet lover, the softness on the feet, the warmth and dont forget the christmassy feeling at err, christmas
  7. Google "javascript file_get_contents equivalent" /archives/ That site would come in great use, he has tutorials for nearly every single php function that was converted to javascript Very useful
  8. Its been snowing for a week here in england :D :PI have loads of pics, i may post them - its the first time since 1970 that it has dumped soo much snow
  9. Hmm it works nicely - but if i was to port forward my computer to the internet, would i be able to shut it down from china :DI know thats pointless, forget it..Yes handy, i shall now shut down my mums pc and she is going to kill me, but hey, toys.
  10. Basically i am going to teach you how to count in binary It is more typical to use a 4 bit rather than the standard 8 bit (ie. 0001 is 1, is much easier to understand 00000001) Now binary digits are doubled each place value of the group, for example; The first digit 0000 has a value of 1 The second digit 0000 has a value of 2 The third digit 0000 has a value of 4 The fourth digit 0000 has a value of 8 And it would go on if you were to have more bits. So basically, we should already know that binary consists of two objects; either an ON or an OFF. It is usually represented in 0s and 1s - 1 stands for ON and 0 stands for OFF. So a binary 1 would be this: 0001 A binary 2 would be: 0010, since the second digit of the values has a value of 2 so we dont need any others A binary 3 would be: 0011, since we need the second AND the first digit to make 3 A binary 4 would be: 0100, since the value of the third one is equal to 4. A binary 5 would be: 0101 - get it now? So it is quite easy to pick up, and since we are using 4 bit binary we could only get a maximum number of 15 - however, an 8 bit (1 byte) binary number would consist of MUCH more. And so now i will show you how to get the number 123 - its really just maths 00000001: 1 00000010: 2 00000100: 4 00001000: 8 00010000: 16 00100000: 32 01000000: 64 10000000: 128 01111011 - and there we have it - 64+32+16+8+2+1 = 123 -- ? - Pecky productions (lol) - no sources involved, just my head and clever computer science ONLY FOR PUBLISH FOR SCRIPT-CENTER.com|WHS|Xisto
  11. Runners, cyclists and weight trainers all feed from carbohydrates; that is, pasta and potatoes etc..Carbs are pretty much 99% energy, and it makes up something like 60% of your diet - but if you are doing stuff, then you would need to make that a priority over the others.Calcium, like milk and cheese are EXTREMELY important for the teeth. Joking lol, you need them for prevention to injury to bones. And also, take a snickers or twix (choco then, but NOT milky way ) just before you do training, since its extra energy.

  16. I noticed that Vista is now horribly bad - microsoft is getting worse! - but i want a laptop, preferably from DELL. But DELL does not sell Windows XP anymore - which is a total con really, because there are some people who ACTUALLY WANT TO BUY IT. They do actually sell xp (disks) but there computers are not being sold with it preinstalled. Just vista. And i had a look and Windows XP Home Edition w/SP2 = ?217.40Windows XP Professional w/SP2 = ?316.74WHY??? I just want a computer with PREINSTALLED XP - NOT VISTA! And on the "customise" for your pc it only asks you for "Windows Vista Basic, Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows Vista Ultimate" - Looking at it, XP is more expensive than Vista!!Thats not on
  17. I was actually going to post a topic about SP3, but since i'm here - i downloaded xp sp3 from microsoft's website, the system requirements are: And you never guess what? Restart my pc and it doesn't even manage to get the boot screen, a blue screen appears and instantly my pc gets restarted - changed my setting (disable automatic restart on error) - then tried again, it said something like "Misconfiguration in blabla library - jumble of letters and numbers after that". So then i had to repair my whole computer! Now my pc runs unbelieveably slow - total con.
  18. great tut - by the way cant we all use antivirus? AVG is great :lol:Yeah great tut i will keep it in mind - my brother uses MSN quite alot and he doesnt bother what people send him (worrying).

  20. Ahh - i know your problem, it happens in cookies too - when you send SESSION_START() You need to place it before everything else in your page - so like <?phpblablabla?><html>... Like that - hope it helps
  21. ahh - thats how you use sessions, i have been using cookies to use to login scripts - no other tutorial gives me info on how to use SESSIONS, great tut, all i really needed to know was the sessions lol. Thanks
  22. #4 "woah" #5 Internet Explorer #9 Unknown - but they would make up 25,000 miles if they were stacked end to end! #24 $ mv cat dog
  23. thats good but if 50,000 odd pageviews a day were to see your site then 'hits.txt' would be around 150mb by the end of the month - the best way is to use cookies or a database. Or what you can do is check to see if the ip is already logged in the text file - if it is in there, dont write it
  24. thats a good tut - but the best way to make your pc to go faster is save all your work to a usb pen drive or something and then reinstall your pc - its quick and it lasts a good 6-12 months . my pc is 6 years old and its unmodified and still runs a dream
