Actually, the connection was working perfect way, however just before some day this symptom is happened. Symptom: After 2 mins of internet connection providing correct user credential, one message popped up like - cable disconnected, even though the connection had not been held up by me. After that the pc had been hung up and freeze and not responded till restart. I am quite puzzled due to this and thought for Virus and scanned thorougly several times, but with a most amazingly the scan result showed " No Virus Threat Detected". Dell Laptop ProblemDell Laptop Vga ProblemMy Dell laptop has failed to display whenever it is switched on. This started some days after I installed a game. Each time I switch on the pc, the screen brightens gradually and nothing can be seen on the screen. completely right! In different areas, AMD can be better than Intel, and vice versa. Though Intels are still better than AMD overall. Like 'onscreen' said, Intels are the way to go if you don't care about the cost, they're also better for overclocking. I just bought AMD phenom 2.5x4 black edition, which is made for overclocking, but I really don't want to overclock anything, I'm quite happy with the way it is. I also support AMDs over intels because they constantly try to adjust prices to give reasonable price/performance ratio over intels. For the most part, Intels cost more because they spend a lot of money on advertising, like those commercials with goofy blue geeks. AMD seem to be running a cleaner game, so I totally support them even if a lot of people criticize them.

I am only getting 9 to 20 fps on reg. Maps. Up to 30 with fun maps. I have a new dell with 3g ram and a 2.2 ghz. My video card is a generic card from what I can tell. I didnt think I would get back into gaming. I used to play 1.6 all the time but got out about 4 years ago. My old comp ran 1.6 great. I would get 100 fps most of the time. The Google browser is called "Chrome" and it's not anything like Lynx unless you count the fact that Lynx is technically a web browser also. I use Chrome and definately recommend it. Chrome is a GUI browser that combines web surfing and web searching. It might take a novice, that cut their teeth on Internet Explorer, a day or two to get used to it but Chrome is great.
