Dreamed of a elevatorCan You Read In Your Dreams?I dreamed while I was escaping from somebody who wanted to steal something I had. I took a elevator, that had my name on it, and I could distinctly see the shapes of the letters and comprehend their meanings. I pushed the number 3 and got off at the 3rd level, walked a little ways past a fast-food vendor, and then woke up. I don't know why, but I've always been able to read clearly, things and text in my dreams. I see the shapes of the letters, and the meanings they have, as well as the meanings when they are added together into words. The way I understand it, some people are not able to read in dreams, and some are. Maybe this has something to do with how I seem to see images in a different manner. I was told by a visual graphics instructor at the college I go to, that most people look at images the way they read text, top first then to bottom. But that its so automatic that they never consciously think about it. I have carefully thought about it, and looking at new images, my eyes are usually drawn to the bottom first, not the top. Toshiba Satellite Freezes at the welcome or once desktop loads!Windows Xp Freezes At Welcome ScreenIIve had my toshiba for 2 years all of a sudden it just stopped loading windows. Well it gets to the welcome screen and I enter my password then it freezes or loads into windows and I cannot touch anything even Ctrl+Alt+Del does not work I push it it goes to a DOS or Command Prompt mode and starts listing the same three things REALTIK something and MEDIA LINK FAILED then is reboots and asks if I want to repair so I click Repair and then I wait 10-15 min only for it to say that it cant repair whats broken. Then it continuously reboots and freezes until I get fed up and just terminate power. I tried safe mode and all that but nothing can get windows working. No clue what to do and I don't wanna pay for a new hardrive by the time they find out whats wrong and fix it the cost will be the same as a new comp what a ridiculous system -reply by james

I think CS4 is better. I'm currently a Graphic Design student about to finish up my 4th year. My school never ever stayed behind, in reality the industry almost immediately switches to the new software just to stick ahead of the game. CS3 imo is not very much different to CS4 but CS4 is a little bit more well rounded for all areas of medias and is just bottom line.. More powerful. Just saying is if you want to stick with the professionals you might want to jump up to CS4. I'm not saying some companies don't still use CS3, I'm pretty sure some do.. But if they do then they're usually not a very high end company New software will always have bugs, some of you need to get used to this! Do you mean go out and purchase the Vista Ultimate upgrade to enable desktop transparency (which *nix had working before XP days)? Though I must admit in some areas *nix is lagging. Video games, video editors Open Office doesn't look as sexy as MS office 2k7. But the functionality is there and as more people work their way over the learning curve of *nix this line will be blurred more and more. In my opinion the areas that *nix outshines windows more than makes up for it. IE, I can boot up, log into a Cisco router, copy the config with minicom, swap out the router with a new one, write the config to the new router and shut down the laptop before I would even be at the login screen if I had booted my lappy into XP. And this applies to all my IT work. I have yet to have *nix fail on me in all these years where the best solution is to reinstall the operating system. Problem Installing Windows XP On Jump DriveTo Install Windows Xp In Pendrive Or Flash DriveLast night I bought a 8GB SanDisk Cruzerto install Windows XP on my old laptop to have as a 2nd laptop. It format, copies files then restart as usual. When it starts back up again, I can get the blue screen error saying that Windows has a problem and has been shut down.I got these everytime so I can't finish installing Windows. I had formated the system as NTFS (all the computers in this house use that File System). Encluding the HDD that was in that laptop before. That laptop currently ha no HDD in it, so I'm using the jumpdrive as an HDD. I am now reinstalling Windows and seeing how that goes, it's coping file now. -reply by Midna

The project is basically a shoutbox, or chatroom , with a brain. And the AI, in various forms, is the chaperone. the msfs2 I purchased after using msfs1(european theater) seemed to me to have been produced by another company totally distinct from ms. the european version was quite good at the time and seemed fairly challenging and, as far as it goes, realistic. but, the pacific theater appeared cheap and of poor quality. the very few aircracft available(corsair my personal), operated poorly. turning rate was extremely slow and often the zero or corsai, etc. When increasing altitude would stall. in 1999 I first used the games on a dell laptop 600 series, then dell laptop 5150, and now on desk model dell 530. what I will suggest are any of msfs games such as 2004 and/or deluxe ed. + acceleration pack. also, try falcon 40 allied force(lead pursuit/graphsim). take care, the flintflyer -reply by john france

I know that many young adults would love for it to be legal, but it is a drug. It causes hallucinations, and makes people not have control, just like alcohol. If it was legal, it should only be legal while being supervised by a license physician. It can also cause addiction. I went to Amsterdam two years ago for a wedding. They are very calm about it because it has been legal for many years. Although, it is not always a good thing. There were people smoking on the street where I could clearly smell it. Why should they be allowed to smoke around me when I don't want the effects of the drug? I don't want it to enter my body and make me not have control over myself. This will cause chaos if legalized. It is a drug, it is harmful, can cause addiction, and does more wrongs than rights. How many people have done something good while high? No One. Alcohol is used under control. You can have 1,2, or maybe 3 drinks and still be "in control". With marijuana, you smoke one time and you are far gone. It is costing many prisons millions of dollars to keep inmates, but why accuse our country of this? If Americas did not do something that was against the law, they would not be in jail in the first place. This could all be solved if Americans followed our judicial system. How many more rights do we need? We are free to do mostly anything with want. With an anarchy government and free limitations for anything, this country would be in chaos. as was mentioned earlier and is widely associated with this topic, the mayan calendar is predicted to end at some forementioned time by nostradamus. I might interject here: it is the ending of a calendar, example: the calendar in my kitchen, when it ends the world doesnt end. I either flip it over or get another. I think thats the general idea the mayans had, just keep flippin' the calendar. Also I first began reading about nostradamus ww3 predictions about an hour ago. They scared the hell out of me. Then rationality kicked in and I questioned them, and in the end, its all down to how you interpret them, as forementioned the twin towers scenario could relate to anyone, it could even be the story of blood brothers for crying out loud!
