  1. I agree, your laptop is good and the price difference 500$ over 800$ is also almost half, I just say, that it's really hard to find a good laptop, it seems that when you find one which is good and cheap, the resolution is 1366 x 768 which personally for me is very inconvenient, but it seems that almost all the laptops go with this resolution as default now, to watch movies, but not to work.By the way, you said, that the Dell laptop, which I posted has 6 GB of RAM (even though it's expandable), but I didn't understand the part with the the graphics card, it has it's own separate 2 GB of RAM as I understand? Because it's dedicated and not integrated...
  2. I think deers "kill" people in the road accidents, at least in my country a lot of accidents happen in the roads between forest, you drive a car 60-130km/h and suddenly a deer appears on the road, which usually ends with a car crash and maybe even deaths. I think it's what they wanted to say...Same with boars, which can also appear suddenly in the road, you usually kill it by driving on it or you get scared and turn off the road and die yourself
  3. I think I've solved my problem with Opera, now it seems to work well again. I uninstalled Opera and installed latest version of Opera 12.01, as my system is 64 bit and Windows 7 is also 64bit version, so I download Opera for 64 bit architecture, and now it seems to work properly. Opera didn't use to offer 64bit downloads as I remember, now I've found they do, you just need to click More options.Download latest version of Opera here: http://www.opera.com/download Click More options link and choose the 64 bit version, it might fix the problems for you too as it seems 32 bit version is not as compatible as it could be with 64 bit windows!I think I am very happy again, that Opera loads content and images normally again, just hope it will continue to do so?
  4. Quite a nice laptop, but like on most currently developed laptops the resolution, at least for me, is really annoying. For me on a 15.6 screen a 1366 x 768 resolution is annoying (even though it's HD, but working with that kind of resolution isn't good for me, it's only good for watching movies on laptop), I currently have a Samsung which has 1680x1050 (WSXGA+) on a 15.4 wide laptop screen and it really looks good.Furthermore, I found quite a nice Dell laptop, which is quite cheap and has a lot of quite good specs inside it and it's resolution is really great:http://www.bestbuy.com/site/dell-inspiron-15-6-laptop-6gb-memory-750gb-hard-drive/5619934.p?id=1218674126251&skuId=5619934It has a clear wide screen 1920 x 1080, full HD quality.I don't know why, but when looking at a laptop, I really keep my mind on the resolution it offers.
  5. Yes, sharks kill about 5 people annually all around the world, hippos are much mroe dangerous, but they don't look so dangerous, I once found this link and it was quite a good comparison what is much more dangerous than sharks: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ So all of you should be careful with hippo's and not sharks In animal world, including humans, predators don't eat other predators, they usually kill them, but don't eat them. Here is a list of 10 most deadly animals and number 1 is a The Mosquito and a lot of them aren't even predators... Great White Shark is in the list, but it's said that it doesn't kill a lot at all. So all those movies made sharks to look really bad and dangerous. http://listverse.com/2007/07/13/top-10-most-deadly-animals/
  6. All I can say that facebook is overrated and isn't worth as it is said. They need to think of something if they want to continue to do business. MySpace used to be so cool, but now it isn't, so in my opinion, the same could happen with facebook if something new will appear, it's a matter of time? Even though MySpace is still used, but it isn't as popular as it used to be. :)I just hope Zuckerberg's objective is not to be in the top 10 billionaire index, but to do something better and better for his customers/users
  7. People usually follow their friends, the reason I visit facebook once a week and google plus once or twice a month is that much more friends of mine are on facebook, the reason I visited orkut once a half/quarter a year is that I almost had no friends which I know in real life :DI think that still, google plus needs to move forward and continue doing something and try to get better than facebook, especially they could improve mobile version, as facebook mobile version still sucks and have problems.Anyway, I still say that facebook is highly overrated, for new people joining it, it's really hard to understand something and now with a lot of new features on it, which I don't even use, it starts to annoy me, I wish I could remove them more easily :DPeople see facebook on TV, people on the street talk about facebook, it is popular, but when you think about it, it's nothing special, people put website links, video links, write something and put their photo from holidays or just simple photos and you can see what they are doing and they can show how cool they look, it's like a place to show how smart and cool you are to others and your friends which you can't see very often, because you're to busy doing nothing. :)Oh yea, and games which are very addicting and simple where and you spend your time pushing and clicking. People wake up just to log on to facebook at night to play those games, walk their virtual dog and etc. (farm, click on rent houses and etc.) but they are lazy to walk their real dog and are lazy to do anything real Personally, I would ban facebook People playing facebook games clean their rooms in those games, tidy them perfectly just to get more useless points, but they can't tidy their own rooms in real life and etc. What is more strange, is that those games look so simple as if it would be 1995-1997, why not buy a real game an play it? It's much better, it makes more sense.Google plus could make something to make people more intelligent and smart while being on google plus and not make them some kind of zombies doing nothing. Even though, if using facebook wisely, it can really be a good and useful service.
  8. I expanded my C drive from 10GB to 60GB or 40GB without rebooting using EASEUS Partition Master 7.0.1 Home Edition some time ago and nothing bad happened, but I fallowed a tutorial from their site, it's really easy to use and Home Edition is free. Now I think it has a newer version. Before doing these changes, you need to check your disk for errors and defragment to 0% fragmentation for everything to move safely. You can download it from: http://www.partition-tool.com/personal.htm
  9. I can't understand how to control it, the record I made was 1.9 meters, also I even could do -1 meters
  10. Don't really know how to do it, but I think it should be something with the registry, maybe there are some programs with GUI which will edit the registry? or maybe you could do it by finding the values through the registry using regedit? But be sure to backup your registry before doing anything with it.Did a little search on google, TweakUI can do something like that, but most of my finding there the registry hacking, where you can add or remove items from windows context menu and even add any application you want, like Notepad.
  11. I think you cannot trust the information on the Internet. Internet is full of lies and false information and in different websites you can find different things about the same thing. But still, I use Internet information... But in some way, I don't trust that information.Sometimes you can't even trust people with information. For example, one doctor can tell you to do that and that for you to get healthy, another doctor could tell you a different story, even maybe opposite, so which doctor to trust? They could both have two different articles put on the Internet. Well, I at least know they think they're right :DIt's really hard with the information reliability, but in my opinion there are no alternatives, as books and other data can also be not reliable as the Internet, so I think that people should trust things in some kind of level or even layer and deal with false and good information. Some resources are more reliable, while other aren't so reliable. In the university, all the pHD's says that you can't trust wikipedia and you have to not quote it, but usually wikipedia has references which you can lookup and quote. There can be a book on some event, which was written with lies. Other people also write about that event and they quote that book and in 30 years you see that a lot of books are based on that first book which had a lot of false information, so are all those book not reliable? In some way yes, but people still believe it's true information if it's in a book or on the Internet even though reference is really not reliable and false? The problem is that information can be manipulated, sometimes I don't know which news to trust and which can be total bulls*it...
  12. If it is possible, I think you would need to go with Javascript function and CSS which would do the same thing as the adobe flash. Personally I block flash content and don't really care about it, even though some people turns off Javascript, but I guess most of websites for them doesn't work.So I would go with Javascript and CSS to accomplish image transition.I personally am using jQuery Cycle plugin, which is easy to implement and is really good to use, is cross browser, even works on IE6 :)http://jquery.malsup.com/cycle/
  13. Internet Explorer doesn't support SVG, but IE9 already supports it, so you need to worry just about earlier versions of IE.IE can use plugins like Adobe SVG plugin, but that's probably a bit much to ask for your end-users to install every time, besides they won't see the content. If you don't mind a little extra work, IE does support VML which is "kind of" like SVG, just IE-only.Here is the link: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb250524(VS.85).aspxYou can accomplish things with IE only conditional formating, to incldue different things for IE, but I never used WML. Several times, I needed to work with SVG, I just used PNG for Internet Explorer 7,8...Just did a google search and found a post with these links:https://code.google.com/archive/p/svgweb (SVG/Flash)http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ (SVG/VML)http://www.amplesdk.com/ (SVG/VML)http://mbostock.github.io/protovis/ (SVG/VML) (can also be used together with SVGWeb)http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ (SVG/VML)Some of them are really good to implement and make SVG "work" on IE and older versions of Firefox which didn't support SVG yet.
  14. Well, I think the verdict is very good and taken with sense, as it was really ridiculous, at least for me. +1 for the court
  15. Well, as Samsung is a big company, it works with a lot of partners. I read some news about their projects, will try to put first found links from google. Even though some things might be a year old, but they've always played with those patents, but used each other resources and etc. Source: https://www.cnet.com/uk/news/apple-and-samsung-working-together-on-iphone-5/ Source: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Source: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ So, maybe Apple would want to get some parts for their devices elsewhere, but the quality wouldn't be as good as from Samsung? Samsung is really good on quality, as it has separate departments for quality testing of different products. There are much more one Google with these keywords: https://www.google.com/search?q=apple+partnership+with+samsung In that link you can find a photo, which shows that even in year 1987, Samsung manufactured monitors for Apple Maybe they like to have "hate" relationships? Or it's just business and publicity and greet to get more. Moreover, Apple might be afraid of Samsung To continue with Microsoft Microsoft, Samsung expand smartphone partnership: http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/tech/news/story/2011-09-28/microsoft-samsung-smartphone-partnership/50589412/1 also Microsoft Surface 2 computer is a project by Samsung and Microsoft, which they both worked, mainly the screen is manufactured by Samsung. Maybe it's even called Samsung SUR40 or Microsoft Surface 2, don't really know, but Microsoft developed PixelSense technology for it. I think we could find much more partnerships, if it gets them more revenue and they have sense, they will work together, but they will also "hate" each other?
