net10 stole my moneyNet10 ReviewFor 2 months been trying to activate a working phone with net10. They lie and keep me on phone for an hour at a time. Have had 14 calls and 3 phones. Now tell me that the model phone I chose on their website is almost always defective. They have sent 3---I have to call back and complain and it takes 3 weeks! Now they have cancelled me because they say I did not call back to say whether I wanted my old phone number. My phone records show I have called back many times. "This is bunk!" Dishonest company. Steals money and will not return. No phone service has ever been provided. I am out $60. with many ticker numbers---sorry for you if you know what that means! Ugh. They lie. Very annoying!!!Google In Your Local LanguageMy job involves global travel all around the year. I've spent a lot of time in Japan recently. I don't know Japanese (can't read it anyway) but a lot of info is available on the 'net regarding railways etc. But when I want to search and I try pulling up google.Com, it always defaults to google.Jp even on my own laptop. No libdvdcss2 in synapticDvd Playback On JauntyI am having the same problem. I got my computer in the US, brought it to Japan, but I cannot play any dvds. (I can play US dvds in windows.) When you see a dialog, click "system dsn" and click "add" then double click "microsoft access driver (*.Mdb)". click "select", then find the MS access database where you save. And click ok. in "data source name type" the filename of your Ms access data base ( for example db1) . Then click OK. Press enter. step 2: start an vb6 then select "standar EXE". click "project", click "components". In control check the "microsoft ado data control 6.0 (OLEDB)" then click ok. Then click the data control in the tools and add it in your form1 "adodc1" right? 'you can see it in the last tools beside the OLE name adodc1'. Put it in the form1. after that. Righ click adodc1, click "adodc property" select the ADODC data source name and fill the file name of your MS access data base (for example "db1"). After that click "record source" then fill the "command text (SQL)" input this command "select * from table1",,, if the table name of your data base is table1. Then click ok. step 3: make a text name text1 then click it. And fill the properties bellow datasource = click the arrow bellow and select adodc1 datafield = click the arrow bellow and select field ( for example "name") step 4: try to run your program. this is very sensitive.. That's why I advice to use a filename of your database is "db1" and the table is "table1" so that you can follow all the instructions I've given.. That's it. if the data of your MS data base is in the text1.Text, it means you got it.. But if not.. Try to analize of your mistake.. This is very sensitive... Try to be positive and patient.. need help95 Ford Escort Maintenance Help.So I have a 95 ford escort lx hatchback that has a little issue... But I know nothing about cars.. So anything will help. The check engine light comes on at random. When I am pressing on the gas the car sometimes does'nt acknowledge that I'm pushing it, and it will 'stall' or sometimes 'pudder' and stop.. My best guy friend has had to cut me out of his life.My Friend Is Having Relationship IssuesI am writing this to seek any advice. My best guy friend is about to be a father with his girlfriend whom he knew for a short period of time before she became pregnant. At this time, she threatens him and accuses him of cheating when he is being loyal. He notes that she won't allow him to speak to me and that she will leave and not put his name on the birth certificate. The hard part is, that I have given and helped him get on his feet despite all the issues that have been present. I am hurt because she thinks that it is ok to control someone's friendship that has been present for a long time. Recently, he told me he would never have a girl make him choose btw his best friend or her. I am upset because I am wanting to get to know her, but often he states that he doesn't think it is going to work, but then is VERY scared she may leave him. Any advice?? I just really really don't want to be out a friendship and she often thinks that I am trying to get them to break up because he does call me when they are in a fight and I just listen. Filezilla problemA Possible Problem With Ftp And FilezillaWell, filezilla is giving me problems too. but in my case, when my users connect to it, they get disconected and prompted for the user login prompt again too ofter, after a while the connection gets too slow between pages and RETR commands processes. I have heard that filezilla does this by "design" to prevent people from flooding my server. But in my situation I have none of that fears since I am nor running my FTP server for the whole world, just for my immediate peoples and family members to securely share pictures and important documents, etc... How do I get such kind of madness features that I don't need DISABLED in filezilla, I have scrolled through all the configuration menus and found none relevant to this behavior. First, I don't want my users to get asked for authentication every 30 or so seconds that they remain idle, thats pure madness. If possible, I would like that timer to be increased to like 5 to 30 minutes. Second, I don't want my FTP server to purposely slow down my user's authentication and connection to my server because they happen to have logged in like 5 to 11 times within the hour or whatever. Okay so people are getting all worked up on Nirvana not being "Indie" "Indie" classification is given to a band or artist which creates their music through an independent record label. This meant that the artist/band could create their own music without a big record company changing it to be more "marketable" Thus, the sound of these bands was more "alternative" and "original. Nirvana produced their records originally with Sub Pop, an independent record company and then moved over to DCG, which can be argued as an independent record company as well. Now a days, the term "Indie" has been used by teens and young adults alike to represent a type of emo-pop/ rock-pop brand of music, most times being produced by large record companies. This totally goes against the definition. So I hate it when these kids say that Nirvana, or Radiohead, etc. Were not "Indie" Thats false I guess I'm a music snob -reply by MusicIsMusic
