She called the F**cken cops on me and filed charges of theft for $12. So now I have to take off work to go to court, pay court costs, gas to get to the court house 15 miles away! Amd vs IntelPentium Vs Amd Personally I see it as AMD = good for the budget and competitive with the processing power of Intel's finest. I see no problems with either except in price and the chip sets for either one. "AMD is for High performance and GamingIntel is for Business and Severe Multitasking" I would have to say yes to that emphasis on business and severe. 'Got money to throw around and not confident in anything else? Go for it, it'll be more comfortable for you.' Got an HP dv6000 series laptop running vista home premium (yeah boo boo throw up whatever it works), with 2gb RAM and AMD Turion64 x2 2.2 ghz processor and an Nvidia GeForce 7150 graphics card and everything's hunky dory. Running large programs still make it laggy but I find it to be the RAM getting in the way. 2 gigs is definitely not the right size >_<especially for running large programs on vista. Price-wise two years ago it was 900+ dollars for this (with AMD) and something like 1190 or 1200+ dollars for an Hp using intel, not sure why but I'm guessing perhaps it has to do with the chipsets from intel costing more.

gotta take into account RAM size as well small RAM means more work for the processor and the HD.My dad's pc is slow, 2 GHz intel processor but the 512 mb ram kills its speed.

That way if you cancel, the hell with them. You cant charge a card that really suppose to work as a debit with no money on it. This way the jokes on businesses that practice unfair business ethics. I just joined an affiliates business for visa just for my dish customers. You see that's the problem here in the US. We report false market quotes to the stock market for advacement of credit. Here is my obsevertion I have burned myny and am not burning any flash drives anymore becouse,I realise it, when my laptop Acer Asphire 5520 had no difficulties ditecting all these flash drives untill after I had used them in my desktop. After my desktop had faile to recorgonise the drives I though I was wrong traying to fix the problem by removing and reinserting them and with the same error report "the USB...Connected is not recorgonised..." then I discover it was not also working with my laptop when I reinserted it in the usb-drive on my laptop. "the inserted...Is not be recorgonise" this is the sign you will see when your drives got burned with some PC. Please carefully remove the flash drives immeditely you see this error mesage don't try to fix it, by removing it and refixing it you will be flash drive burn victim. I had the same problem, fixed it. My problem was that the jpg had CMYK colors. Chrome and firefox ge CMYK colors just fine... IE didn't Saved the image as RGB everything is fine now. Hope it helps you -reply by cees

I have Windows Vista Premium pre-installed on my HP Pavilion 3000 notebook. In early November 2009 I updated my OS and soon afterward found that my notebook would not start normally. I had to roll back my configuration to before the updates. Once I did that, my notebook worked again. Bill Gates is the richest man in the world. I really don't mind that, per se. But shouldn't he earn all that wealth by making an OS that works?

Same problemCompaq Presario OverheatingBK - I had the same problem with my f760nr I was able to run the internet and email applications without the laptop shutting down but watching a video or playing any type of game would cause it to overheat and shut off. After following many suggestions I found on the internet, I finally sent it back to HP as it was under warranty. They replaced the heatsink and fan (known issues with the presario laptops). So I decided to create a bootable floppy in case my pc doesn't boot up some time. Anyway when I created it, the option was to create an ms dos boot disk. We experienced the same situation recentlyPc Shuts Down After A Few SecondsWe recently had the same problem, the PC shut down and then would shut down after starting up. We checked the hard drive and then replaced the power supply. After reading the post from Roula I inspected the CPU heat sink and cooling fan, I could move it and found it was not attached at two of the attachment posts. I removed the CPU heat sink and cooling fan and found that tow of the post attachments were broken. I removed the CPU heat sink from another PC, installed it on the first PC, powered up and it worked. The heat sink and cooling fan must be firmly attached to the CPU or the PC shuts down. I think that this is a safety mechanism to protect the CPU from being destroyed. Jim -reply by quality man
